1 cup sugar
24oz bacon
1 package breadsticks (size of your choice)
3 tablespoons salted butter

3. Wrap a slice of bacon around each breadstick (start at one end and barely overlap until the entire breadstick is surrounded).
4. Roll the bacon breadstick in the sugar mixture and place on the baking sheet. Repeat with the rest of the bacon and breadsticks.
5. Bake in oven until bacon is crisp (around 20-30 mins depending on your oven).
6. Smash garlic cloves into a paste and combine with melted butter.
7. Use a pastry brush to brush butter/garlic mixture over the bacon sticks.
8. Bake an additional five minutes. Remove from oven and cool.
Main
Queenie's Apple Strudel
Ingredients
5-6 small apples (suggest mostly green apples but also some red)
1/2 cup white sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
1 package of your favorite filo pastry
3 tablespoon butter
1/2 cup powdered sugar
Directions
1. Slice the apples and mix together.
2. Preheat oven to 190 degrees celsius.
3. Line a baking sheet with baking paper and place the filo pastry (9-10 sheets).
4. Brush the butter onto the pastry
5. On the shorter side of the pastry, 3-4 inches from the edge, place half the apples.
6. Sprinkle with half the white sugar and half the cinnamon.
7. Place the remaining apples, sugar, and cinnamon on.
8. Wrap the pastry closed and brush the seal with butter.
9. If you're feeling fancy, you can braid three filo sheets together to wrap around the pastry, and another three for the other side for that ~Queenie inspired~ look. You'll need to brush with butter when finished.
10. Bake for 30-45 minutes.
11. Dust with powdered sugar and serve.
