Welcome, welcome, welcome to all of you Creature Enthusiasts out there!

My hope for this class is to take a closer look at, not just at creatures from the Harry Potter mythology, but those of other cultures as well, and from around the world. The classes range from creative projects to straight forward fill in the blank, but I try to make them all as fun and interesting as possible! Also, please remember that classes are now always open so there's no time limit on doing them.

Here's an overview of some general questions that are asked about the classes:

Do I need to cite sources?
I do not require that you cite your sources, generally speaking. If a class does not state anything about citing, it's safe to assume that you do not need to give links to any of your sources. However, you won't be marked off for it (nor will gain extra points either). Only if specified in a class are you required to cite sources.

What are hide tabs?
Often times I'll ask for classes with definite answers to be posted in hide tabs. This prevents people from cheating off of others answers by hiding any text that has been posted until after the user looking at the thread has posted as well. This way, no one has an advantage over anyone else. Because of this, be sure that you're happy with all of your answers before you post, because if I see an edit I'll have to assume that you changed an answer after seeing previous posts.

How long does it take you grade classes?
I'm generally a fast grader, but I can never be positive about what my schedule will be like or how much time I'll have to be on. The majority of the time, I attempt to grade classes as soon as possible, which can be up to very day it was posted, but this is not always the case. However, you may of course PM me if I haven't graded your assignment after a week as a reminder.
