| Care of Magical Creatures Practical: Part One
Section One - Please answer this section as though you are a real Hogwarts student taking real ComC classes.
1. What do you enjoy most about Care of Magical Creatures classes? (5 points) What I love most about taking ComC classes is that they’re always something that is exciting and holds my interest really well. It’s a fun class that I always look forward to coming to and seeing what new creature we’ll be learning about. I also love the fact that we’re able to work with the animals up close and personal and that the class is more interactive then not.
2. What do you think are the most important reasons for studying Care of Magical Creatures? (5 points) I think obviously the most important reason is that we need to be able to study a creature to understand or fear it in any way. If we don’t we don’t know what to be fearful of or how to understand what the creature does or why they do it.
Also, there is the fact that creatures can also be used in war times, and often are, and we need to be able to know what the creatures can do, if anything. It keeps us well prepared in case of a situation such as that. In cases such as that it’s also important because otherwise we won’t be able to tell if the creature truly isn’t a creature and instead is an animagus or a person transfigured into an animal for spy purposes and such.
A final reason, is so we know just how valuable these creatures are. As many of them have special properties and we wouldn’t want them to fall into the wrong hands. If we don’t learn about that stuff someone could hand over something that could be vital to the wrong people.
3. In no less than one hundred words write about your favourite magical creature. (15 points)
My favorite magical creature has got to be the Kneazle. It looks much like a household cat, with a few minor differences that could easily be mistaken for a regular cat. It’s tail is compared to that of a lions and their fur isn’t ever a solid color. Kneazles, much like a cat, will take liking to certain people, but not others. If it likes you it can be a great pet, otherwise it won’t be. The Kneazle is a very intelligent creature and can often help owners when lost, and can easily pick out suspicious people or animals. Muggles often own Kneazles thinking they are just regular cats, and they can be bred with cats.

| Section One - Opinions 1. What do you enjoy most about Care of Magical Creatures classes? I really enjoy all aspects of Care of Magical Creatures but I would have to say my favorite part is interacting with the animals. Hagrid teaches us not to be afraid but to still show respect for the animals. When we get to touch unicorns and hippogriffs you bond with the animals which makes you want to treat it better.
2. What do you think are the most important reasons for studying Care of Magical Creatures? I think the most important reason for studying Care of Magical Creatures is to learn to respect and care for the various creatures we have in our Wizarding World. We need to be able to live together peacefully with the animals and respect their ways and their space but also learn to trust each other so we can enjoy each others comapany.
3. In no less than one hundred words write about your favourite magical creature. My favorite magical creature would have to be the Unicorn. I have a great fascination with their beauty and grace, but also with their stregnth and agility. I really think its wonderful that they represent the pure of heart and all things good. It really makes me trust the unicorn and when I see one I feel safe. Growing up, my dad was a muggle and even in all the muggle children's stories he read to me unicorns were there and well respected even by muggles who no little to nothing about the wizarding world and our creatures. I also enjoy how the unicorns trust us enough to get close but still make us show respect for their space and way of life.

| Care of Magical Creatures Practical: Part One
Section One - Please answer this section as though you are a real Hogwarts student taking real ComC classes.
1. What do you enjoy most about Care of Magical Creatures classes? (5 points) I like the fact that we can be close to the animals we are studying and can thus experience on our own how to handle them. Even if some of them might be dangerous, it also introduces an element of fun into out classes.
2. What do you think are the most important reasons for studying Care of Magical Creatures? (5 points) First of all, I think studying magical creatures enables us to show them the respect they deserve by treating them right. But most importantly, the relationships we can establish with them by knowing their behaviour enable us to also be safe from the more dangerous creatures.
3. In no less than one hundred words write about your favourite magical creature. (15 points) My favourite mgical creature is, most definitely, the Phoenix. It is a bird with large red-golden wings, that is practially immortal, due to its ability of being born again from its own ashes. This has led to legends about it even known to muggles (probably from the times regulation of magical creatures wasn’t so strict) and of course the famous proverb « to rise like a phoenix from the ashes », which is for me a source of inspiration. Every time I feel like the earth beneath my feet is crumbling, I think of this majestous bird and its almost incredible capacity of being reborn and it gives me strenght to go on and make the best out of the situation, eventually coming up again and being able to smile as if nothing had happened.

What do you think are the most important reasons for studying Care of Magical Creatures?: The most important reasons for studying care of magical creatures are: -knowing what kind of creatures live in our magical world -knowing wich of these creatures are good and doesnt hurt anyone, and which of these creatures are bad and dangerous -we can use some of these magical creatures for example:hippogriff(flying),Phoenix(healing)etc. -we have to know how to use these creatures so we dont get hurt or get the creatures hurt 3. In no less than one hundred words write about your favourite magical creature:
Unicorn is a very powerful magical creature.their horns can be found in Diagon Alley with 21 Galleons and it can be used for making Wiggenweld Potion. And their hairs are used in cores for wands like the unicorn tail hair.Unicorns are pure white with golden hooves. The unicorns are nearly impossible to catch,to catch a unicorn you have to use a young virgin as a bait.Killing a unicorn is a very bad and evil thing because unicorns are very pure and defenceless, and drinking their blood is even worse, their blood color is silver and drinking it give you life even when you are about to die,but the price is you will have a half life and a cursed life.

1. What do you enjoy most about Care of Magical Creatures classes? What I enjoy the most in CoMC is getting to learn more about the creatures and their lifes.
2. What do you think are the most important reasons for studying Care of Magical Creatures? The most important reason for studying CoMC is so you dont get hurt when you get near a creature or harm it.
3. In no less than one hundred words write about your favourite magical creature. My favorite magical creature is the Hippogriff. The Hippogriff is my favorite magical creature because it is so magestic. It is half eagle and half horse. It is very unique that you can fly a Hippogriff. It is also a really gentle creature that you can pet and not get hurt. (If you do the right thing) I think it would be really cool to ride a Hippogriff over the water and above mountains. I would love to have a Hippogriff as a pet. But it would take a whole lot of work. But this is why my favorite magical creature is a Hippogriff.

Section One - Please answer this section as though you are a real Hogwarts student taking real ComC classes.
1. What do you enjoy most about Care of Magical Creatures classes? (5 points) I love animals, so I love taking Care of Magical Creatures. I like to learn about the different animals and what they do, especially since I am muggle born and magical animals are totally new to me. Coming to class and wondering what new animal I will learn about today is so exciting.
2. What do you think are the most important reasons for studying Care of Magical Creatures? (5 points) I think it is a very important subject to study for anyone who doesn’t plan on staying home the rest of their lives. You never know what creatures you might encounter in your future and it is important to learn about them so that you are prepared if you meet one.
3. In no less than one hundred words write about your favourite magical creature. (15 points) My favorite magical creature has always been unicorns. Growing up I always loved them and wished I could have one. Since I am a muggle born I was always told they aren’t real but I always knew they were. They are so beautiful and majestic. I am fascinated even more by them now that I know they have magical properties. I think it is so cool that their hair is used in wands and I never knew that their blood could keep a person alive. It has been so cool to learn about them now that I know I was always right and they are real. Total points for section one: 20

| Care of Magical Creatures Practical: Part One
Section One - Please answer this section as though you are a real Hogwarts student taking real ComC classes.
1. What do you enjoy most about Care of Magical Creatures classes? (5 points) I like to find out about new creatures, and learn about their way to live, interesting facts and details about them. Also, because I think no creature is evil from the beginning, it's always fascinating to make own theories based on facts, and study more of one or two certain creature(s).
2. What do you think are the most important reasons for studying Care of Magical Creatures? (5 points) I think the most important reason are to learn about different kind of creatures, how to recognize them, where to find them (so that you can avoid them if they're labeled as dangerous), and how to protect yourself from them if you get attacked by one - or, how they might be useful in some cases.
3. In no less than one hundred words write about your favourite magical creature. (15 points) I'm going to tell about dragons. Why? Well, Hagrid loves them, so they're automatically dangerous, which makes them so fascinating! People think they're dangerous and just thrist for human blood (or blood in general...) because of their more or less rough looks; sharp teeth, swinging tail (a pretty dangerous one in the case of a Hungarian Horntail!), their thick scales that no spell can get through... oh, did I mention that they spit fire? Well, they do! I don't know why, but they're just... marvelous creatures. Loads of people would think that they're just a waste of life, but they're not. In fact, they're useful to us! For example, you use dragon heartstring in wands. Also, their blood can be used in twelve different ways. The twelfth use is oven cleaner.

1. What do you enjoy most about Care of Magical Creatures classes? (5 points) Broadening my knowledge of magical creatures
2. What do you think are the most important reasons for studying Care of Magical Creatures? (5 points) The principal of 'the more you know the better off you are' really applies here. It is very practical to know properties of magical creatures and the types there are out there because so many of them provide magical elements for us in potion making, wand making, and so-on.
3. In no less than one hundred words write about your favourite magical creature. (15 points) The Snidget is by far my favorite magical creature because it was the original snitch. The Snidget is a small round bird with golden feathers and jewel-like red eyes. These qualities were so prized that it was hunted almost to extinction. It has amazing flight capabilities, like maneuvering with extraordinary ease and speed, which is why it was used in quidditch, but almost always died when it was caught. I think it is beautiful and delicate. I love birds and this one has a great history behind it. It is a protected species now and there are severe penalties for even capturing one. | Care of Magical Creatures Practical: Part One
Section One - Please answer this section as though you are a real Hogwarts student taking real ComC classes.
1. What do you enjoy most about Care of Magical Creatures classes? (5 points)
I enjoy learning and observing magical creatures, that I would probably never interact with if I didn't take this class. Many of them are so much different than normal pets for example crups of kneazles, that they intrigue me as to what they do and what they actually are.
2. What do you think are the most important reasons for studying Care of Magical Creatures? (5 points)
I think the most important reasons for studying Care of Magical Creatures is to learn about magical creatures and how they might be able to help us, and how we may be able to help them. Many properties of magical creatures, for example dragon's blood, heartstrings, unicorn hair, etc. have magical tendencies that help us out. If we learn more about other creatures, then perhaps we'd be able to use them to help us. But then, it can also go the other way around. The more we use properties from magical creatures, the more they're likely to diminish in numbers. If we learn more about them, then we could probably be able to keep them thriving.
3. In no less than one hundred words write about your favourite magical creature. (15 points)
The hippogriff is a remarkable creature. Noble in stature, it has the head of an eagle, the body of a horse, and beautiful wings. It can fly and run; it's very talented. To be approached, someone has to bow to it, and if the hippogriff deems him or her worthy, it'll bow as well. Hippogriff feathers can be used in things like wands and are very valuable.

| Care of Magical Creatures Practical: Part One
Section One - Please answer this section as though you are a real Hogwarts student taking real ComC classes.
1. What do you enjoy most about Care of Magical Creatures classes? (5 points)
I like Care of Magical classes because I love to learn about the many different kinds of creatures out there. The more that we know that is out there the better we will be able to handle what will happen to us in the future. Also being a Ravenclaw I have the tendency to try to learn as much as I can.
2. What do you think are the most important reasons for studying Care of Magical Creatures? (5 points)
The most important thing about this class understands the creatures. The more we know about the more they can help us out. We can keep them as pets, which sometimes helps people to live longer or to even have them do some work around the house. Also there are the dragons. We use so much from them in potions and even in gloves that we rely on so much.
3. In no less than one hundred words write about your favourite magical creature. (15 points)
My favorite magical creature is the dragons. I love dragons, if I see a book with a dragon on it I have to buy is. My room is covered in posters of dragons, ones that I drew and others that I bought at the store. They are mysterious creatures that many don’t understand. The Chinese believe them to bring good luck and that’s how I view them. I don’t think of them as being evil animals that tries to eat everything they see. There are also some that guard treasures. I believe that they are the best creatures to hide things because they will make sure no one will get to it, that is if they overcome their fear of seeing a beast towering over them.

| Care of Magical Creatures Practical: Part One
Section One - 1. What do you enjoy most about Care of Magical Creatures classes? (5 points) In this class i love how you get to see and usually experience what tyoe of creature is like or how they act when your studying them and not just that but to be able to know all the great creature in our magical world. 2. What do you think are the most important reasons for studying Care of Magical Creatures? (5 points) If you dont know about magical creatures, then you, say if you encounterd one you wouldn't know what they are or what you must do. Another reason is that if you need information then you wont know any thing on what you need it for. 3. In no less than one hundred words write about your favourite magical creature. (15 points) Threstrals, the great beast of the forest. These great creatures have long wings, with their sharp skeletal body their wings are pretty projectile making them fly and fast speeds. Threstrals are used all around the world as of horse carriages and pulling things like goods. The Threstrals are meat eaters but do not eat human flesh. Threstrals are peaceful and can be tamed but because of their appearance it is extremely hard. There are some things people don’t know about them is this, The Threstral isn’t like many other creatures in the magical world, only man (as mankind) who have seen death can see the beast. People judge these creatures for many reasons but some not because they cant see them. The Threstral is different and that is what I like about them.

| 1. What do you enjoy most about Care of Magical Creatures classes? (5 points) What I enjoy most about Care of Magical creatures lessons is that I get to learn and explore new animals in the wizarding world. To enter their mind or write about them. In some ways doing this teaches me than if I just read the fantastic beasts and where to find them book which I have. I try to do as many Care of Magical creatures assignments set because they are both interesting and intriguing. Some of the lessons on here don’t catch my fancy but Care of Magical Creatures is one that catches my fancy often.
2. What do you think are the most important reasons for studying Care of Magical Creatures? (5 points) To learn how to defend yourself against a dangerous creature and care for others. Its always important to know how to deal with an animal and know if its going to attack you or you can pet it. Its also good to have basic knowledge of the animal kingdom.
3. In no less than one hundred words write about your favourite magical creature. (15 points) My favourite magical creature would have to be a dragon. Which is possibly the most famous magical creature. The dragon is fierce and beautiful in a demonic way. So powerful and beautiful the dragon is feared by many but also loved by so many. The true quest of a knight would be to slay a dragon for a beautiful maiden. The wings beat fast through the air as their whole body glides across the sky in perfect harmony. Personally I would love to fly on the back of a dragon like Eragon does. Dragons breathe fire which may be why they are considered extremely dangerous. If my animagus form could be any of the magical creatures I would want it to be a dragon. They may also be considered loners as I can’t imagine their being huge colonies of dragons they would fight.

Section One - Please answer this section as though you are a real Hogwarts student taking real ComC classes.
1. What do you enjoy most about Care of Magical Creatures classes? (5 points)Its interesting to learn about all the different creatures within the wizarding world. Also its great to be able to take what we learn here and use it towards other abilities.
2. What do you think are the most important reasons for studying Care of Magical Creatures? (5 points) Well the most important reasons for studying would have to be to learn about all the marvellous creatures that are out in the wizarding world. It would be horrible to not learn anything as you wouldn't know the best way to protect yourself in case you came up against one.
3. In no less than one hundred words write about your favourite magical creature. (15 points) My favourite magical creature is the Dragon. There are so many different kinds and its hard to believe that muggles think they don't exist. Of course some also believe that we don't either. I love the fact that dragons are able to breath fire at long ranges and are able to fly. It would so fun to be able to fly on one of these marvellous creatures.

1. What do you enjoy most about Care of Magical Creatures classes? (5 points) Well, i think their exciting and also they make you think. You just don't do work all the time you get to do other stuff to.
2. What do you think are the most important reasons for studying Care of Magical Creatures? (5 points) Maybe, when you come in contact w/ a creature that you learned about you will know what to do.
3. In no less than one hundred words write about your favourite magical creature. (15 points) A pheonix is my favorite magical creature because its samrt and can help you when you are in danger. Their tears can heal you when you get hurt, like Fawkes did for Harry. When they die they set on fire and turn to ash. I like the fact that a new one is born in the remains of the ashes. There are some wands that have pheonix tails in them. They help you in different ways. Realting back to what Fawkes did for Harry in the second book, Fawkes could have not come back to help Harry, he could have left Harry to die. But Fawkes didn't let Harry die, Fawkes saved Harry's life by its tears.

| Care of Magical Creatures Practical: Part One
Section One - Please answer this section as though you are a real Hogwarts student taking real ComC classes.
1. What do you enjoy most about Care of Magical Creatures classes? (5 points) I enjoy how I get to learn about all of the many different magical creatures. I feel as though wizards are very privileged, because while the muggle world has many interesting animals, none are like the dragon, hippogriff, thestral, or unicorn. These creatures that are myth and legend for them, are real, actual animals for us that we can see up close. I also like how this class really pushes me creatively, like when I had to look through the eyes of a sphinx in a previous assignment. I had to do a lot of research to learn about what a sphinx was and what they did in order to get inside the sphinx’s head. But at the end of it all, I felt very accomplished.
2. What do you think are the most important reasons for studying Care of Magical Creatures? (5 points) Well, most likely so that you learn what to do and not to do around animals. For example, while the hippogriff is a beautiful creature, if not approached with caution, they can turn deadly in the blink of an eye. The same goes for knarl, which looks like a regular hedgehog but can wreak havoc upon your rhododendrons. I think to take this course you also have to love animals…because after all, you’re going to spend quite a bit of time learning about them, so why take the course if you hate them?
3. In no less than one hundred words write about your favourite magical creature. (15 points) My favorite magical creature would have to be the Phoenix. For one thing, it’s an absolutely gorgeous animal. And it’s very loyal as well, and it’s loyalty is especially precious, because it takes such a great amount of work to train a phoenix. They are incredibly powerful creatures-so powerful, that their feathers are used as wand cores. They are also very strong, and able to lift great weights-say, an adult wizard, two twelve year old wizards, and an eleven year old witch. It appears and disappears in bursts of flames-a rather interesting trick, if you ask me. The song of the phoenix gives courage to the pure hearted, and strikes fear into those that are not pure of heart. The most noted trait of a phoenix is that when it dies, it bursts into flames only to re-emerge as a baby Phoenix from its own ashes. Finally, their tears have healing properties, something that could come in handy in a pinch-as Harry found out in CoS.

| 1. what I enjoy most about care of magical creature classes is that I get to be up close and personal with animals. 2. I think the most important reason for taking COMC classes is to better understand the animals so we can learn to help or fear(or not fear) them. 3. My favorite creature is probaly the griffin. Much like the hippogrif this fantastic animal is also part bird(usually an eagle), but , instead of having a horse half, is usually part lion. They can also be part of another big cat, like leopard, which is my favorite. Hippogrifs have the head of a raptor (bird of prey),and the wings of one, but the body and tail of a big cat. The tail tip has feathers on the end, though, for steering when in the air.The legs are of a big cat althogh the feet are usually clawed like a bird's.

| Care of Magical Creatures Practical: Part One
Section One - Please answer this section as though you are a real Hogwarts student taking real ComC classes.
1. What do you enjoy most about Care of Magical Creatures classes? (5 points) I enjoy learning about the fascinating creatures of the wizarding world and how they impact our world. Wizards are rather lucky to have such animal in existance and should learn how to nuture and care for them more appropriately. When reasearching and learning about the many different species, I feel glad that I had the opportunity to have this class. Not only do I get to see and read up on amazing creatures, but also become knowledgeable.
2. What do you think are the most important reasons for studying Care of Magical Creatures? (5 points) I think people take this class for granted. They don't see that in future they will need the things they learn in the class. You wouldn't want to come across a Hippogriff and not know what to do!
3. In no less than one hundred words write about your favourite magical creature. (15 points) Thise was a tough one, but I have to choose the unicorn. Unicorns are positively gorgeous creatures. Their brilliant white coat that shines with radiance. Unicorns are fierce yet good , selfless yet solitary, but always mysteriously beautiful. It's probably the only beast that does not seem to have been conceived out of human fears. They are one of the most passive magical creatures in the wizarding community. Their pureness and innocence are just one of many traits it contains. The only thing that makes these amazing creatures is their horn, which was said to nuetralize poison.
