My friend and I have the Lady Marauders (of sorts)-Ginny, Mione, Luna and Tonks.

Ginny was my name. And we also have our own little things in front of the names:

Just Ginny (it was originally gorgeous but thats a lie and Just goes better)

i got mine from the most awesome book in the universe...aside from Harry Potter...The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams. I have always loved the book for it's seeming randomness and the way it is written...it's hard to describe...but i LOVE the book!!!!! In the book it states that the answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe, and everything is 42, so i shortened in to Life is 42 your username 436937

I got my username from... i think it was the HPFF chat. My friend from there was going to make a new account on that site, and I suggested cookiemonster. She didn't use it, so when thinking of a name for this site, I thought.... Hey! I know the perfect name!

charmed = charmed the tv programme - what else could it be - it is the best along side harry pooter and dr who and friends etc

Well, before I was a H/G shipper, I was a J/L fanatic (Marauder Era fics)...and I loved how Lily was portrayed...kinda clever, braveish, independant, compassionate etc...I sorta fancy myself as an Indian Lily (Mum says I was too independant as a baby and really proud so I didn't want any help when I started walking and stuff, my name means friendly, etc...)...

I also love lilies because my dad grows them and they are gorgeous...and I like waterlilies a lot too...they are a type of lily, they have really long stems and there is a type of water lily that has five perfect pentagonally aligned petals which symbolise the female goddess (i've been reading the Da Vinci Code...tis great!) and I also am a big feminist so WaterLily seemed to fit me...

So there ya go...the story of WL and her name...

no but i was looking for a penname there and didn't want anything that was like ilovehp (sorry) so i picked a last name i had used in an original fic i had started (and failed in) writing. and since i LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE scotland and scottish men (as apparent in my signature) it was quite a good name. besides i think MacKay fits really well with my real name: Lisa.

I got my name from my character I created in a fic I wrote. Plus 'Fate' is a cool word and when you are 'Fated' for something, it's kinda interesting plus it's unique cuz at the time no one had anything remotely close to the name so I added the 4-instead of for- and then HP for Harry Potter :D

*giggles* Well...although I do LOVE math...that is NOT how I got my username (and penname)

last year, (in the 9th grade) I was in my Algebra 2 class...and i had got 105% on a test...and everyone else in the class had failed...well...My dear brother would not let me get away with that! He started my nick name "The Algebra Dork" but somehow by 4th block...it got changed to "The Algebra Geek" ...and so every once and a while, someone might call me 'AG' or 'Alge Geek'...but really...that can't now because I'm in Pre-Cal. XD But that nick name stuck with me all year...so it just made sence that I made that my user name/Penname. :D
