PAIRS DANCE 8: Cheery and Algebra_Geek5 (Gryffindor)

This is for Cheery and Algebra_Geek5 to compete in their pairs dance

::Backstage, Cheery and Algie were getting their costumes perfected and making sure that they remembered the dance. Cheery was really excited and Emma was practically jumping off of the walls because she was so hyper and very, very excited, obviously.::

::The stage person said,"You're next" and Emma practically flipped. She couldn't wait and neither could Cheery::

::The song before them ended and Cheery and Emma strutted on stage. They walked on their toes to the middle of the stage, where two chairs were. Cheery sat backwards, with her stomach to the back of the chair. Emma also did that and then they took one big, deep breath before the music started.::

::While the 8 counts of the 8 bars went away, Cheery and Algie hit different poses, but made sure not to get out of their chair, or fall out of it. Cheery and Algie were both smiling so big that they were sure that their stage performance scores would be very, very high.::

::As the announcer, to the song, talked, Algie and Cheery spun around in their chairs. Cheery only spun half of the way, as did Algie, so they could bend backwards in their chair. The both got back up and walked to the front of the stage. They shook their hips as they walked. When they got to the front, Cheery did a right split. She held one hand in the air to give the simple, but yet complicated move(you have to be flexible.) more class. Algie did a heel stretch and held it for 8 counts. Then Cheery waited for Emma to do her other special part as she got up off of the stage floor.::

:: Algie then looked over at Cheery, and jumped up, and did a one handed cartwheel.

Algie and Cheery then noded at each other. They both then did two front flips, did a cross switch turn, then did two back flips. (With Algie now on the right, and Cheery now on the left)

Once the waited 8 counts, both did a hook jump, and 5 fan kicks in a row! That is very impressive!

Cheery and Algie then did down-handed sugars back to their chairs. They then swung their left legs over their chairs, and did a side-ways turn to sit in their chairs. Both then posed, and waited for the next 8 counts for the next part of their AMAZING dance!

::Cheery, looking very happy at this point, swung both of her legs over the back of the chair to end up looking towards the other side of the stage. Of course, Emma was doing the same thing. Then Cheery posed with one leg pointing up towards the ceiling, with her foot pointing very, very hard, and the other leg straight out. Emma was posing just the opposite of Cheery.::

::The girls then got back up and strutted to the front of the stage again. Emma got down on the floor and laid down, her legs put together, and her on her side. Emma held up an arm towards Blondie who was now doing a left heel stretch and holding onto Emma's hand with her other hand that wasn't holding her foot. They broke out of this position and Emma kicked her leg in the air.::

::Emma got up and Cheery and her walked three steps and then did a back drop kick, where they kicked forward and their back bent back a little. They then "fell" to the floor and rolled over their right shoulder then waited for count one.::

The Costume:

:: They then both jumped up and faced their backs to eachother.

Very carefully, they grabed each other's wrists, and Emma put her right leg up Cheery's back, and Cheery did the same, but only with her left leg. This step is known as the "Back ups" and it takes a while to learn how to do it. They stayed like that for 16 counts.

They then let go of each other'd wrists, and stood one one leg for a few beats, then hopped across the stage switching legs as the went. When they got to the end of either side of the stage, then spun around, so that they are now facing each other.

They then did kick changes to the middle of the stage. They then both did 3 one handed cartwheels in a row Algie going to the left, and Cheery going to the right.

They then clapped their hands 4 times, and strutted back to their chairs. They then held onto the back of them, and went on the bawls on their feet four times. They then both spun to the right, and sat in their chairs, and posed for 4 beats..waiting for the next part of their dance.

::Cheery and Emma got up, very perkily and dragged their chairs, making sure not to let the chairs make any large noises and set them closer together. Then they leaped over them, going from one side to the other and back.::

::Then, the girls, went from leaping beauties, to working beauties again. Cheery then dragged her chair on its back two legs to the back corner of her side of the stage and Emma did the same to the right.::

::Then, Emma and Cheery met, center stage.::

:: Algie and Cheery then picked up their chairs by the sides, and Algie turned to the right, and Cheery to the left, just so they would have room to do the next part of their dance.

The girls then spun once around their chair, so they were back to the back of their chair. They then did Straddle jumps while holding onto the back of the chair. Their feet where very high in the air.

They then waited a few beats, and did Step-bawl- changes to the back of the stage. They then did four pas de chat so that they were back in to center stage.

Both girls then did two summersaults, and laid on their Stomachs, then then put their elbows on the stage, and their chins in their hands. They then both put their knees up, and swung their feet back and forth a few times.

Then then put their knees and elbows down, and put their hands on the stage. Cheery went first, and used just her hands to jump up. Algie went second.

Both girls were smiling like crazy!! ::

::Cheery and Algie jumped up and then did a high turn and then a low turn, which was used as a prep for their jump out of the turns. Then they went back to their chairs, since the end of the song was near, but they both knew that they weren't going to stop once they got to the chairs.::

::When Emma and Cheery reached the chairs they hit 3 poses, both different from each other. Then they walked to the very front of the stage and hung one leg off of it and rolled their stomachs like bellydancers for 4 counts and then got back up. They walked to center stage where they were supposed to do a trick, in which both of them were to do.::

:: The song was slowly coming to an end. It was really too bad.

They then got ready to do their "trick". The two girls were really excited about it. They had worked for hard on it!!

"5,6,7,8" Algie then said to herself, and she jumped up onto her chair. She then made sure that Cheery was right infront of her, and facing her. Algie then nodded, and she put on foot on Cheery's hands. Cheery then pushed it up, and Algie did a flip in the air!

Cheery then smiled, because it was time to do her trick. She gracefully put the chairs together, and backed up. She then did a running start, and flipped over the chairs, so that it was like she was flying!! It was totally amazing!!

Then girls then did their last pose, as the music stopped. They then both took a bow, and when the curtain closed, then high-fived each other,because they knew they did a great job. Even if they didn't win, they had soo much fun dancing!::

::Cheery then walked further backstage, Emma not far behind her.::

"I can't believe we did it!!!" Cheery said excitedly.

"I know! That may have been the most fun I've EVER had dancing!"

::Cheery and Emma were really, really happy. They still were in shock that they had pulled off all of the tricks that they had worked so hard on.::

(Yay!!!!!! WE DID IT!!!!!!!!)
