Mime 7: Jennifer Williams

"Ladies and Gentleman!" A loud voice fills the auditorium. "We Hufflepuff are glad to present to you the fourth installment of the Lord of the Dance. We've seen exciting group dances, romantic pair dances, and now interesting festival dances. But now I must present to you a type of dance that dates back to third century B.C. This dance involves no props but rather the full body and facial expressions. I hope you enjoy the show called 'Mine Mime'. By the way this will be the last words you hear during this performance so have fun and be quiet!"

::The curtains opened and the stage started to clear up. The stage is decorated as a doll factory. Thread and pieces of cloth was thrown about. Many dolls stood unfinished around the room in various clothing and colors. The spotlight quickly moves around the stage as though to find a living person on stage. It finally pauses in the right corner to shine on a single silver doll half enclosed in silver wrapping. The audience pauses as the silver figure suddenly blinks slowly and looks around the stage.::

::Jen quietly unravels herself from the wrapping. She paused and cringed as the crackling from the paper echoed inside the factory. Jen her right index finger tapping her chin dramatically. Waving a finger in the air to indicate an idea, she waves both hands in front of her and dives out of the wrapping to end soundlessly in a heap on the ground. Jen is wearing a long body silversuit that looks to be made from the future. She takes large steps around the silver heap and pokes it with her toes. Satisfied it would not try to engulf her once more, she looks around and spots a fellow doll by the cutting table.::

::Approaching the doll slowly, she waves her left hand in front of it's face to get a reaction. Nothing. Taking a deep breath, Jen once again waves a finger out to form an idea. She feels around her air surounding her in dramatic panic. Her palms are laid out perfectly flat in the air in front of her as she struggles to find an opening to the "invisible box". Her fingers poke into corners as she finds the exit. Taking a chance, Jen kicks the air in front of her, and stops midkick to crmble to the ground in pain. Taking a another glance at the silent doll, Jen pretends to struggle for air. She lays her hand on her forehead and faints to the ground in a dead faint.::

::Opening an eye at the motionless doll, Jen gets back up and tries to mimic the doll's form. The doll was facing up as her hands lifted up to the sky and one leg was bent back. Jen grabbed onto a large box, which was actually air, and struggled to pull it next to the doll so she could be taller then it. Her face showed the weight and pain she was going through the shove the box in place. Finally pulling it close enough, she collapsed on it a bit and struggled to catch her breath.::
