First topic message reminder :

Are there any musicians here on the site, whether it be singing or playing an instrument.

I started learning my dads electric guitar a few years back but i didnt get very far. I can play the piano/keyboard and i sing a little (I was in a choir when i was younger)

Hola! I play fifth grade Piano and I've just started learning the violin and I'm going to start bass guitar lesson soon hopefully! I cannot sing if my life depending on it!

I am a musician. I can sing (realy well, my friends tell me), I <3 playing clairnet, can play the paino, and am learning to play the Guitar. Singing, and playing music have been a secoind nature to me since I was three, and I put on "concerts" in my living room. I love all types of musc, and am realllly good at understanding, writing, ect. music. So, I guess I am a musician, right??

I love to sing! I also played clarinet and bass clarinet in high school, although I was not very good. I was in choir and show choir through high school, and loved it. Now I sing mostly for fun, although next summer I may audition for a musical.

I can play the keyboard a bit... I know about 17 songs and i've only had it since the end of October so i think i'm doin ok

i also tried the guitar but that went badly, i cant sing either.

I play the violin (6 years), cello (almots 2 years), viola (a little over a year), and some piano though I no longer take lessons. I also sing in my school's a capella group and arrange all sorts of different things for my quartet and for fun. xDD

Uhmm. I learned each instrument not at the same time. So, the first instrument I've learned is piano, I'm just like 6-7 years old that time. To be honest, I'm not really a good pianist, but I'm still trying to perfect "My Immortal by: Evanescence" in piano ^_^

and then, next is flute, when I was 10 years old, I used to play flute for my Music project grin

Until now, I know how to play flute and lastly, Guitar, I first learn to play guitar 2 years ago, or maybe a year ago, I forgot grin

I played in my high school marching band (drumline), in the concert band (percussion), and in the steel band (cello steel drums). I also have a keyboard, and because of the instruments I played in percussion, I can usually figure out songs on it. I don't really sing, but I'm at least not tone deaf, so I guess that counts a little.

Wow! That's awesome! At least you have experienced joining marching bands. And yeah, this is silly, but I want to clear those things up. I'm not playing piano but actually it's a keyboard grin

haha! 'Cause most people call it as "Piano" and not "Keyboard", especially here in my country xD Sorry :D lol!

I used to play piano (I can still play some simplish pieces)
And I play clarinet (I think it's about... 5-6 years now - this is definitely my main instrument :D )
I also can play fife (like a mini-flute) a bit of flute, a little tiny bit of guitar (for eg. Mary Had A Little Lamb, Waltzing Matilda, Twinkle Twinkle Little star, and stuff like that XD ), a bit of sax, and sing.

Well, I play the violin to Grade 5 standard (ABRSM) but that's about it I'm afraid, I've played in quite a few orchestras and stuff. Not very exciting really! It seems that loads of people can play loads of instruments! I envy you!
