well...I'm reading that one. I was at walmart looking for a book to read and it looked interesting...but the first one wasn't there...I'll have to go somewhere else and get it. I am almost done with Dark Angel. It's pretty good stuff. :D

I love the second story with Quin *dies* I LOVE ALL OF THE BOOOOKS!!

well don't tell me what happens!!! I will buy the first one and maybe the third (there's a third, right?) when I go to the bookstore...but there's not a bookstore in the valley, which is pathetic. not one single Barnes and Nobles for at least 100 miles. that's pathetic, seeing how we have the most illiterate county in the US, you'd think they would put a freakin bookstore here....well I didn't mean for that to turn into a rant...

Reading "Soul Music" from the Discworld series, by Terry Pratchett - amazing stuff :D

"Living With Questions" by Dale Fincher. Good book so far.

"Murder on the Orient Express" by Agatha Christie. It's my second Christie ever (first one was like, 10 years ago .. XD), and my first one with Detective Poirot - and it roooocks! Seriously, it's amazing, it's sooo captivating! <3

Hmmmm ... had an attempt at reading a strange book called "The painter of battles" by Arturo Perez-Reverte, who strangely enough is usually one of my fave authors. However, I've found it wayyyy to rant-y, which is why I've just given up halfway through and have now started reading a biography of Toulouse-Lautrec, by Henri Perruchot

I have finished reading Morgan LLewelyn's book "The Greener Shore" which is awesome. XD I am about to start reading a new one, maybe Cintra Wilson's Colors Insulting to Nature.

I am rereading the Vampire Diaries for the fifth time since my bf isn't buying the other books yet again. LOL xD

Riiight, in the meantime, I've read "Je l'aimais" by Anna Gavalda, and now I'm reading (well, almost finished xD) "Globalization and its discontents" by Joseph Stiglitz ... great book! If you've got any interest in Economics, I highly recommend it, it's not too technical (though I suppose a really basic grasp of Macroeconomics would be useful, but the book is explained quite well, anyhow. ^^)

The Anne of Green Gables series by Lucy Maud Montgomery, right now onto the second one (Anne of Avonlea)

I'm onto "Red Azalea" by Anchee Min now. :D

EDIT: I don't wanna double post. But yeah, I've recently finished "The Importance of being Earnest" by Oscar Wilde - short and funny stuff, hehe. :D Also, I'm starting a book that contains the translations of the oldest Japanese texts (I reckon you could call them myths), the Kojiki, Nihonshoki and Engishiki. Mind you, I'm still on the introduction to that. XD

Just finished The King's giggle - some good Aussie fantasy there, and starting on a huge Spirit Gate by Kate Elliot. I can barely lift the damn thing... but epic fantasy yaaayyy!

"Gone with the wind" - I was slightly reluctant to start it, because it just looks so fat, but now I can't put it down! XD

It's a classic for good reason.

I finished Vampire Diaries 3&4 last month. Last week I finished Mirror Image of Danielle Steel.
And Tonight I'll start reading my notes for mid-term exams. LOL

@ Faerie: nope, actually not that long. Just around 200 pages, very concise and readable. It's called "A History of Japan: From Stone Age to Superpower" by Kenneth Henshall - I recommend it for a general intro to the topic. :D

And nowwww ... onto "Against the Gods" by Peter Bernstein.
