| Lol...I forced myself to read it a few years ago when I was really bored and didn't understand it. I found it easier to read about a year ago, but yeah...still not on my favorites list. I suppose I still don't understand it...but who cares? ::purr:: | |

| I was supposed to read this book for english honors, but I never got around to it. IT PUT ME TO SLEEP!! No other book has ever done that! Then, again, I've only read decent books. It was disgusting. I wrote that paper blindly and passed with a 98%. | |

| Now I'm worried. My co-worker recommended it to me when he saw that I was reading A Tale of Two Cities. I just ordered my own copy of what he says is probably his favourite book. I hope I don't hate it. | |

| Alright so: i finished all the reading/annotating on time. and i turned in the books. and...i got 86% on my GE annotations! wewt! (we haven't got Mr. Pip back yet).
but upon finishing BOTH books, i've decided that if i had been introduced to these (well actually i really enjoyed Mr. Pip, i highly recommend reading it after you read Great Expectations) books without the pressure of school, and if i could read them at my own pace i would quite enjoy them.
i've decided that someday i want to reread them all over again. (it would be my 3rd time reading GE and my 2nd Mr. Pip.) btw i read Mr. Pip in 10 hours (minus 30minute-1 hour long breaks every now and then. and a shower)

| I just don't understand. I'm loving it so far. Perhaps it is just because I'm not being forced to read it. Or maybe I'm a nutter. It's one or the other. | |

| I hate this book as well. I had to read it this year for english. We didn't read but up to chapter 15 and personally, i didn't really read it. It had no meaning to me and was very confusing. And my teacher would tell use theres a quiz and she never told us about one the past class or the past week.
I did not like this book and wish not to read it ever again.

| I read this book in high school and it was very confusing and boring. But maybe if I read it again it wouldn't be that bad. | |

| Well it is boring. Theres like no point to it what so ever. Its story line makes no sence and the characters are stupid. Thats just what i think. | |
