| Harry Potter started out as popular novels for young adults. And as you know, with all the young adult popular books must come a movie based on those books! And now the HP movies are also very popular.
What books or novels would you like to be seen made into movies? Any novel-based movies already out there that you would have done differently?
Personally, I think that the book Coraline, by Neil Gaiman, would make a great movie. It would be a very creepy movie, yes, but I would definitely go see it, as the book was great.

| I agree on Dragonlance. Those books would make good movies.
Recently I read some chapters out of the star wars older books and the older movies need to be redone and add all of the little bits in the books to them.

| I read the Underworld books, because I loved the first movie- mostly because Scott Speedman is hot and I used to crush on him when he played Ben in Felicity- and I love the first book, mostly because it fleshes the movie out a bit. The second book was like the second movie, just okay. Also if you love the movie Goonies than read the book! It has scenes in it that never made it into the final cut of the movie. Also (and this is tv not movies) if your a fan of My So Called Life than there are two books out, one that takes place during the time of the show, one the summer after, and they are quite good, it's really like watching and episode of the show. | |
