How will Harry destroy Voldemort?

The big question...how will Harry kill Voldemort in the end?

Whether or not you think Harry will live or die, I think it's a pretty safe bet to say that Voldemort will be defeated - to have evil triumph over good would send out the wrong message and go against everything that's already in the books.

So how will he do it? We know that once the horcruxes are destroyed, Voldemort will once again be mortal, and so should be able to be killed. We know that Harry is the one who has to kill him.

But we've seen Harry trying to perform an unforgivable curse, he couldn't do it, because he has too much good in him. So I think that rules out Avada Kedavra.

There are other curses that Harry knows of which could kill Voldemort (sectumsempra's certainly strong enough to kill, diffindo perhaps as well), but I doubt if Voldemort would let them get to him.

There's also the matter of legilimency to consider - if Harry can't keep Voldemort out of his mind, the OldEvilOne's going to be able to see everything Harry is planning to do and be able to block it.

It seems an impossible task. So how is Voldemort going to be killed? The 'power the dark lord knows not', ie. love might play a big part - just thinking about Sirius in book five was enough to hurt Voldie, so perhaps if Harry concentrated on all the people he loves and projected his thoughts at Voldemort this might cause some damage?

I'm not convinced that would kill him though. Perhaps some sort of ancient spell? But then comes the question how would they have time in book seven to find and destroy all the horcruxes and research a way of killing Voldemort? Unless the book pans over a few years that is.

Thoughts anyone? How is Harry going to kill Voldemort?

Personally I dont think that Harry will use a curse at all.

With all the other horcruxes got rid of, voldemort is in a weakened state. He only has part of a soul and i believe that this is key. The part of the soul inside the dark lord has been infected.

At the graveyard, harrys blood was used to restore voldemort to his human state. Voldemort has harrys blood running through him - blood which i think will be his downfall. He will be able to feel emotion - emotion which ran through harrys veins

I don't think that Harry will use an unforgivable curse to kill Voldemort. Maybe he will get something from the department of mysteries. Maybe it will be something from the love room. Maybe there is love so powerful there it can destroy evil???

I think it's going to be a potion becasue then Harry is still pure and He wont have to use his wand which wont work

I don't think Harry will be able to use a spell because if he and voldemort have a duel then prior incantatem will happen wont it. I think Harry will have to find some other way maybe they will be battling in a duel and someone who loves him could sacrifice themselves for him creating the love bond and maybe that is how love will help it will be love that saves him.
