School Camp

I was just thinking about this the other day and decided to start a topic about it. School Camp stories! what were they like? was the food gross? did you go anywhere exciting? stuff like that.

I remember for my year 7 camp we went to this beach and on the first day we did orienteering. Our group got lost in the middle of nowhere (when I say middle on nowhere I mean middle of nowhere) and the camp spent the whole day looking for us.

We also played a prank on these mean girls and put cereal and yogurt in their sleeping bags and peanut butter in their shoes.

Ive never been on a school camp though i did go on brownie camps when i was younger and they were a lot of fun. We used to cool meals on an open fire in the middle of the field and get up to loads of fun pranks and stuff

I've never been to a school camp but a summer camp once or twice. I don't remember what all I did there though :(

Our school doesn't do camps or things like that... too expensive

But I did go to summer camp three years in a row (next year I went to England and the next I did a theatre/non-sleepaway camp) and those were pretty fun

mwahaha, I broke my head on a school camp in the second grade xD ... correction.. my friend's younger brother did that for me.. with a brick.. yeah well, we were playing XD

third grade camp: in the mountains in Romania - there were rumours that a bear came around our hotel at night xD

fourth grade: in Germany:
- on the plane, one of my classmates ordered beer (she told the hostess it was for her parents xD).. then we tasted it together on our last night .. none of the 6 girls in our room liked it, so we threw it away XD
- during the night, I accidentally put my foot into a friend's mouth, who was sooo mad at me the next day, even though I couldn't even remember anything
- in a funpark: a friend and me in one of those .. things that turn you in the air.. her: *SCREAAAM!*.. me; *singing happily* XD
- PERSIL! XD ... a friend's stufed piggie, that she valued almost more than her life, and that we weren't allowed to touch, because it was supposed to stay clean.. you shoulda've seen her defend it XD ... btw, same girl with the beer *ponts up* xD

9 th grade: one of my colleagues snogged with the guy in the disco and then we were scared he'd come to out hotel... ahh, teenage angstyness XD

10 th grade:
- on the way there, in the bus: the guys had a boombox and they played a song with pretty errr uncensored lyrics .. once, twice.. louder and louder... until our class teacher decided to put her foot into the business and gave us all a "and these are educated children from a good school, the elite of our future... shame on you!"- rant XD

11th grade, Germany: drank beer with our old class teacher lol he was the coolest xD

12th grade

Prague:
- stuuupid new class teacher => we were walking in circles through the old town the whole time, stopping each 5 minutes for him to decide where next .. XD
- went with almost the whole class (and without the teacher duhh xD) clubbing, came home at 1 AM (when a guy who stayed back called us and told us he was mad xD), told him that we were just admiring Prague at night ("oh so beautifl, we just forgot about the time.." xD) then well... we was mad, but forgave us quite easily ... bahh he's so lame XD
- stayed at a hostel and had to share 3 showers for 21 persons, not only our class... had to take turns with the boys xD
- hostel-breakfast was YUCK, therefore had breakfast at a nearby bakery xD

Athens (not the whole clas, but some kind of project xD)
- oh the tragedy.. had a bigtime crush on a Russian guy from the project and got my heart broken *sniffs* .... xD



... I guess I could tell much more, but I gotta go to sleep and I guess you don't wanna hear my whole life story anyway, but those were some of the highlights.. even though I'm not sure they all make sense for someone who didn't live though them xD

edit: omgomgomg! xD ... I forgot something really important about my 10th grade camp... it was exactly the last week I spent in Romania before moving to Poland, therefore I got a farewell party in the last night ^.^ lol and got some presents from my class, which I still have .. but it was also a lot of crying and sadness and stuff because of that
annnnd.... *thinks of so many more things to say* ... I'll just shut up now xD

edit 2: .. why did nobody tell me this also extends on non-school summer courses and stuff? ehhh... I'll need another post for that, another day XD
