History
In 2004, Miles Bletchley, a British lad who attended the Scottish boarding school Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and was placed in the notorious Slytherin house, and Olivia Montgomery, a young American witch who had attended Salem’s Witches Institute in Massachusetts, married. Not long after the two bore a son named Daemon. A year later, they then had a daughter, Charmaine. They had their last child four years after that, another son named Lucien.

The two parents raised their children in Miles’s deceased father’s old home, located in Lancaster, England. Given that they were born into a wealthy family, Charmaine and her brother received many private lessons in various fields in their years prior to attending Hogwarts. They were trained in basic etiquette, taught necessary subjects to prepare for their magical schooling at Hogwarts, and whatever else they or their parents wanted. One extra thing Charmaine was taught was the violin. She began to learn the instrument at the age of 3 and has continued playing ever since. She began with the acoustic, but by the time she began attending Hogwarts, she had decided to switch to the electric.

At the age of 7, her parents went to a reunion party, bringing her and her brother along with them. There, Charmaine met another girl her age, Isabella Nott. The two girls hit it off right away, though when Izzy, as Charmaine called her, mentioned how her parents didn’t like anyone who wasn’t a pure blood, Charmaine began to worry her friendship might be short lived.

When Charmaine was ten her brother began attending Hogwarts and she soon followed; both of them being sorted into Slytherin like their father. Izzy was also sorted into Slytherin with Charmaine and even had neighbor beds in their dorm. Izzy was practically Charmaine’s only friend. Not that she wasn’t social, because she was plenty social, it was just that she never really opened up to any one.

Her years at Hogwarts up to 6th year have all been the same, her and Izzy not far from each other, sneaking around, getting in trouble, and flirting with a various guys. Izzy and Charmaine were never the ‘good girls’ in school. They lacked very many morals that other female students (such as those in Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw) possessed. Though of course they weren’t all bad, but their softer sides were more of a thing they kept between the two of them as best friends.

Family Dynamics: Charm is a bit of a daddy’s girl. Whatever she wants, she can ask him and get it just like that. Her mother she gets along with for the most part, though she secretly finds her annoying. Her eldest brother is extremely protective over her and Izzy.

Personality
Charmaine can be pretty much summarized with a bad girl who loves flirting. Yes she can pull off the sweet good girl thing, but she really isn’t well behaved. She can be argumentative and defiant when she wants, though she typically goes for more manipulative solutions before. She is also extremely flirty and sees guys, and the occasional girl, as some people see shiny objects. In other words they are distracting and will be hers to play with.

She is confident, especially about her appearance. Much like her friend Izzy, she doesn’t go ballistic when some guy walks in on her dressing, but while Izzy will just glare and then ignore them, Charmaine makes some witty remark, rude or flirtatious depending on the lad, and then asks them to leave.

In her friendship with Izzy, she is less dominate and more likely to go with Izzy’s ideas. But when it comes to telling someone off and such, Charm is the first one to act.

Even though many see her as just this juvenile Slytherin, she can be quite shy and fragile. That side of her though can only be seen by those she trusts, and right now that is only her best friend Izzy.

History
Being a middle child did have its effects on Izzy; she tended to be the more reserved child in the family. At least when it comes to speaking her opinions, not when it comes to acting out or being a social power player. Izzy and Charm have been friends since the age of 7. Both of their families attended a reunion of sorts and they instantly clicked with each other. Once Izzy was old enough she was shipped off to Hogwarts, just like everyone else in her family before her. Lucky for Izzy, Charm was there as well. They were both sorted into Slytherin, and have continued to be dorm mates and best friends ever since.

Family Dynamics:Isabelle Nott was the product of two highly regarded pure blood families; her parents Theodore and Daphne were both Slytherins during their time at Hogwarts. It was said that her father, along with the entire Nott family was the only family that the Malfoys saw as equals outside of their family ties. Speaking of the Malfoy’s her aunt Astoria married Draco Malfoy, so they are relatives. Isabella is the second child out of three, her older brother was the first, and then her sister came not to long after her.

Personality
Isabelle is rarely ever seen without her outspoken counterpart, Charm. Both of them are known for their partying expertise, since they never seem to miss a party that’s up to their standards. Her reputation also holds some of the more typical words associated with Slytherin within the title. Deep down she’s really not that horrid, she just is very picky about who she sees as fit to waste her time on.

Unlike Charm, Isabelle has never been known for being a flirt. Most of the time she saw all of Charms flirting as a waste of time and talent, I mean if you’re not getting something out of it then why waste your energy? That’s not to say that she doesn’t know how to bat her eyelashes and swivel her hips to get what she wants from men, because in that aspect she is very talented. Izzy is the type her prefers to play hard to get.

Isabelle’s greatest weakness seems to be gossip; she can never pass up hearing a good bit of information. Especially if that information could be of use at a later date to get her out of all sorts of sticky situations, black mail and secrets are two of her best friends. She’s not exactly the bitter type, but cross her and you will regret it. Other than Charm, Izzy does not associate with blood traitors, she sees herself as above it all, plus she can never look at Charm in the same terms as everyone else.
