Grimmauld Place: The Orders Hideout

Shadow merely nodded.

" Okay.. how about we all go.." Zelda said.. " Are you all ready?" Zelda asked

( To the Malfoy)

"Yes." Shadow teleported away from Grimmald Place.

Alice arrived out the front of Grimwald place and hastily open the door and dashed inside. She closed the door quietly and made her way towards the sound of voices, aware that the meeting had started without her. Alice aproached the the room and opened the door, but she hesitated in the doorway, unsure of what to do. This was her first meeting and she didn't want people to think she wasn't capable.

Elladora had been coming down the hallway and noticed the girl. She hastily withdrew her wand and pointed it at her.

"Hello, who are you?" she inquired a little maliciously.

Alice jumped severly when, un noticed by her, someone had entered the hallway. "Alice Cullen..." Alice stammered, not unaware that this persons wand was drwan.

"Yes..."Alice said, relaxing a little as the witch calmed down a bit,"This is my first meeting."

Emmalynn limped through the hallways, looking for Elladora, having just Apparated into headquarters. She found her pointing her wand at some girl and drew her own wand, but held it by her side, just in case. Still watching the girl, she walked to her friend and spoke.

"Hey Ella, what's going on here? Who's she?"

Alice noticed a new girl lipm towards the. The girl walked over to the person interrigating her and muttered somthing that alice couldn't hear.

Emmalynn faced the girl when Elladora didn't respond. She was still trying to shift all her weight onto one leg because of her fractured leg.

"Who are you and why are you here? And show me your left arm," Emmalynn demanded of the girl. She was using the harsh tone of voice that her Death Eater father had so often never been without.

"Alice Cullen," Elladora said, "she claims to be a member, but I would still like to see her arm."

Elladora turned a bit to see Emmalynn. "What happened to your leg? Oh, nevermind that, Episkey."

Emmalynn put some weight on her leg, feeling no pain.

"Thanks, Ella. I had a run-in with daddy-dearest..." She turned to Alice. "Now, we want to see your arm. It's a precation for those of us who became paranoid after we fought beside Potter. The longer you wait, the more suspicious we get."

Rista stumbled into Grimmauld Place, and went straight up to an empty room. She wanted to shower and get some warm clothes on. After that was done she went down to a main sitting area and had a cup of tea that was spiked. Slowly she felt her nerves begin to calm down.

Shadow stumbled into the Headquarters, limping up the stairs before anyone could see her. Shadow didn't notice that she had left a small trail of black blood on the ground.

"Eh..." Elladora shuddered. "Blood. Scourgify!" Pink soap bubbles appeared on the floor and cleaned the floor of black blood. She turned back to Emmalynn.

"You're dad's still not bitter about the disownment, is he?" Elladora asked.

Shadow watched from the upstairs landing, cursing herself for leaving the blood there. She retreated into a room, this time cleaning the trail.
In the room, she hovered in the air, her legs in a lotus position. A blue mist surrounded her as she slowly began to heal herself. Opening her eyes, she found herself staring into a pair of violet eyes. Screaming slightly, she fell out of the air.
"Raven! How many times do I have to tell you, don't teleport like that!" She hissed, picking herself up.
"Shadow, you are getting hurt way to often, I can sense it. What are you playing at?"
"Will you stop acting like my mum? We're twins, remember?"
"I know, because I can sense when you are in pain, and that is all to often at the moment."
"I'm working for the Order, I'm trying to use our father's little 'gift' in a good way. You are doing the same."
"I'm worried about you Shadow. Some day, you won't be able to heal yourself."
"Not so loud Raven! We're not alone in this house. It's Headquarters. You shouldn't even be here!"
"I know."
"Then why are you?"
"To check up on you."
"I'm touched. Alright, let's talk." Sitting down on the bed, the two girls talked.

Alice hesitantly held out her left arm in utter bewildment. She roled up her sleve so the could see her bare arm. Suddenly cautious, Alice wondered if they were going to torture her.

Shadow shook her head at Raven.
"You want to meet the people here... Have you gone INSANE Raven! I'm not sure if they trust ME yet! I joined this thing!"
"Shadow, calm down. If you think that its a problem, then there is a small glitch."
"What's that?"
"I had a run in with our dear Father. I need to do some research into unblocking my magic again. Teleporting here was the last thing I could do."
"Ok, I'd better go and introduce you and see if you can stay for a while. Otherwise, I'll go with you to... where ever you go, and help you sort this out." Shadow and Raven walked out of the room, Shadow still limping slightly. Both had heir hoods pulled up as they headed down the stairs. Shadow went to confront the other two girls while Raven stayed hidden.
"Em... guys... We have an unannounced visitor, could she stay for a while?" Raven came forwards and stood next to Shadow

Shadow shook her head at Emmalynn.
"Emma, I don't think that's nessecary. She's in enough... distress as it is. I can vouch for her."

Shadow glared at Emmalynn.
"There is no need." She hissed.

Shadow turned to the other girl, shaking her head slightly. Raven nodded, realising what Shadow was trying to say.
"No," She said, backing away slightly.

Emmalynn, not unaware of Shadow's little gesture, sighed again. She decided to get a bit more forceful. Still speaking calmly, she said,

"Look, it's either show me your arm, or have a senior Order member escort you everywhere and watch your every move. Knowing Shadow, you probably also like your privacy, don't you..." she made eye contact with the other girl, "Raven?"

Shadow stood next to Raven, her eyes narrowed.
"I said that I can vouch for her, Raven's my sister."

"Then leave her alone. We have things that we need to sort out." Shadow put an arm gently around Raven's shoulders.

Rista watched the goings-on with the girls. Things sure had changed in the short amount of time she was gone at the Malfoys'. She wished Zelda were here. "Is everything fine?" she asked, as she pushed the sleeve up on her left arm. She knew she'd be questioned, since she didn't really know these girls. "Wait. Weren't you at the manor?" She asked, turning to the girl she was certain she'd seen there.

Shadow saw Elladora's wand being drawn and knew that this girl was pretty serious about her threats.
"Synari Antetren Ilas!" She said, creating a shield that divided the room, Raven and Shadow on one side, Emmalynn and Elladora on the other.
"You say that it's protocol. I wasn't checked when I came in, or when I joined." Shadow narrowed her eyes.

"Nor was I," Rista added. She wasn't sure what was going on; she understood the reasons beyond caution, but threatening people who had thus far made no actual threats was not something she was accustomed to seeing in Grimmauld Place.

Shadow glanced at Rista, smiling slightly in greeting.

"Lovely evening, eh Shadow?" Rista said.

Shadow glanced at Rista and let the shield down. Turning to Raven, she whispered something to her.
"What do you think?"
"We can't show our arms."
"I don't know if they understand demonic or not."
"I don't want to take that chance."
"Its your choice." Shadow turned back to the others.

Shadow turned to look at Raven, who had an air of defeat about her. Raven pulled up her sleeve, showing a think band of metal and a line of glowing symbols.

Emmalynn smiled and looked at the girl's arm. Some glowing symbols, but no Mark. She looked back up.

"See? Was that so hard? Now, there's a free bedroom on the third floor, fifth door on your left. I'm fine with you staying here, but the boss may want some collateral from you... Like a favor, nothing big. And he'll know you're here by now, so expect a visit."

Emmalynn took a step back before adding, "Oh, and if you want to join the Order, feel free to say so. This is now a safehouse for you."

Shadow and Raven both breathed a sigh of relief. They glanced at each other and headed back upstairs.

Emmalynn laughed and followed her friend, making sure she didn't run into anything.

"Sure."

Elladora continued walking, giggling with Emmalynn and crashed into the wall, a vase on a shelf hit the floor, breaking and sending the portrait of Sirius's mother into an uproar.

"MUDBLOODS IN THE HOUSE!! BLOOD-TRAITORS!! USELESS SCUM OF THE--"

Elladora quickly jabbed her wand in the direction of the painting, covering it with the curtains. "Sorry about that," Elladora told everyone. "Reparo!" The vase went back to the shelf.

Shadow and Raven both appeared downstairs by the portrait.
"What on Synairn was that?!" They said in unison.
