Favourite TV Programmes

We've had a film thread, a book thread and a music thread, so why not a TV thread?

What TV programmes do you like?

I'm also a bit of a soap junkie, I watch Emmerdale (slightly boring when they start prattling on about sheep, but apart from that, it's all right), Coronation Street (when will the model railway storyline end??) and Home & Away (so cheesy and predictable, but I love it :lol: )

And I also like ITV dramas (things like Life Begins, Fat Friends, Cold Feet when it was on) and murder mystery dramas (yes, I know they're for old people! Shhh!), like Midsomer Murders, Marple and Poirot.

At the moment, I like The O.C. (we're on the 3rd series here in England), Lost (haven't had the 2nd series yet - so no spoilers!), Friends.

Me and my mum watch english series such as midsomer murders and whats-his-name-lynley. You get the kind of shows?

Also, I watchswedish dancing programs (floorfiller, yay!).

I also like to watch Lost, top model 5 (haha, it's so funny, especially this season when lisa was there. they argue so much) little britain, medium, that 70's show, will and grace, malcom in the middle, desperate housewives (even though they show it after my ballet class when I just want to eat and take a shower) and buffy the vampire slayer.

I can't believe I forgot about Little Britain! I love that programme, it's so funny! Although at times, slightly nauseating (remember Bitty? And Bubbles? And the old women who vomited over everyone? Ewww!)

I also forgot about reality TV I like it to some extent (though not Big Brother). I watch things like X Factor, and Strictly Dance Fever, but I think the best one is I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here. 10 'celebrities' in a jungle crawling around in boxes of bugs covered in fly pupae? Hilarious! And Ant and Dec are just too funny - when Ant kept on going 'Philip! Philip, come quickly!' in an impression of the Queen when Paul Burrell was on - so funny!

In fact, let's talk about Ant and Dec in general. Their Saturday Take Away is genius. The Ant and Dec undercover section is always great, and little Ant & Dec is always so funny. I love Ant and Dec, have ever since they did SM:TV - Oh the days of Challenge Ant, Chums, Dec Says and Wonkey Donkey! I loved SM:TV.

Let's see, I don't watch as much t.v as I do movies but I have the entire collection of Absolutely Fabulous and I love Vicar of Dibley. But French and Saunders were always better when they were working together.

Only shows I watch at the moment are Lost and Desperate Housewives because they're so addictive.

And (of course) Star Trek. I own every episode and that's why I'm the biggest geek in the world. I got all the movies too. As well as seasons 1-7 of SG1 **laughs and shakes head at self over complete and utter nerdishness**

Murphy Brown was a classic. And I don't mind Family Guy (Stuie is a psycho but he's the funniest little guy ever) and the Simpsons (Homer is such an idiot I can't help but laugh).

Currently I like watching Lost and Joan of Arcadia. I also like Jensen. It`s a dutch version of Jay Leno. That kinda thing.

I love Friends, I almost got all the episodes on dvd. I still miss a few.

I love to watch Gilmore Girls, Charmed and Will & Grace

And gillmore girls, my wife and kids, ...i also watch a lot of the cartoons on disney channel with my brother - call it bonding or whatever, so i like raven, kim possible, lizzie mcguire, etc

There's no show like FRIENDS!!!!! I not only owe all the dvds of the seasons but watch them all the time and still think they're funny. "Can they BE any funnier?" LoL sorry I'm a little obsessed when it comes to Friends.

I also love Grey Anatomy! never miss it! I love McDreamy..I even made a screen saver and saved it to my boyfriend's laptop...he was mad....lol so I tried to make it better by putting our pictures on the creensaver too...he STILL wasn't happy..lol

8 simple rules, scrubs, hope and faith, home improvement, rodney etc and i am so in love with them at the moment, though knowing me this time next month i wont be - my taste changes all the time lol
