mcfly_42 and Just Ginny VS Jennifer Williams and Dimples

::Ginny strode into the dueling room and looked around. So far, no one was there. Not her partner and daughter, Elly, nor her fellow house mate Jenn and her partner Dimples. She gazed around the room, unsure at first what to do. She decided it would be best to set up their defenses. The red head pointed her wand over the door and moved it in crisscross designs while chanting the spell.::

"Magical netto för Jenn och Dimples (Magical net for Jenn and Dimples) " ::As her wand moved through the air, gossamer like threads flew from it, creating a web that was strung across the whole door. It shimmered there in the torchlight for a moment, and then vanished. Whenever Jenn or Dimples walked through the door, the net would ensnare them temporarily, and disable their magic for a moment. Unfortunately, it would only work for one person. So she needed something to stop the other of the two. Ginny ran a hand through her red hair and glanced around the room, forcing herself to think of other possible defenses that would help her and Elly in the duel ahead. Her eyes landed on the tiles in the floor. A plan came to mind and she touched the tile in front of her and whispered.::

"Anförandekvarter för Jenn och Dimples" (Speech block for Jenn and Dimples) ::The red head then ran about the room, randomly performing the spell on various tiles. When the spell was completed, the tile glowed brightly, and then dimmed. If Jenn or Dimples stepped on one of these tiles, they would be struck dumb and unable to utter any sort of incantation. When she was out of breath, Ginny surveyed the room. So far, so good... She debated whether to leave the room as it was, or to add one more defense. She chose to be safe rather than sorry, so she pointed her wand at each corner of the room and said.::

Vampyrslagträn för fiender," (Vampire bats for enemies) ::Inside each of the corners was now nested six vampire bats. Her brown eyes could see them moving in the shadows-but just barely. They would attack as soon as she gave the word, and Ginny hoped Jenn wouldn't be too mad at her if she had to use the bats on her. She took a deep breath and several steps back, and waited for whoever would come.::

::Jenn took a deep breath before entering the dueling room. First she had to duel the dueling coordinator and now the pervious duel champion. 'Will I ever get a break?' Jenn thought to herself with a sigh. She gave Dimples a firm smile. "We could do this." Jenn said confidantly, "Just go in there and do our best okay?"

::Snapping her fingers, she pulled out a bright blue bag from her pocket and proceeded to sprinkle it lavishly over Dimples's head. "Invisble pulvis, invisibilty dust (Latin)," Jenn explained when Dimples gave her a strange look. Tossing some on herself, she smiled. "That way, Ginny and Elly won't see us enter the room and we'll have the element of surprise on our side. I'll go in first."

::Jenn entered the room and saw Ginny standing in the center waiting for her team's arrival. Carefully taking out her wand, she pointed it in Ginny's direction and shot a stunning spell in her direction. "Stupefy." Jenn said softly. Her wand warmly quivered beneath her fingertips for a moment before remaining still. Confused, Jenn tried to perform the spell again. "Stupefy." Realizing Ginny must have disabled her magic for a moment, Jenn cursed to herself and decided to wait til the spell wore off as she was invisble and her presence wouldn't be detected for some time. After a few minutes, her wand started to warm up. "Deprehensio periculosus [detect danger in Latin]," Jenn whispered in the event that Ginny placed more traps for her to fall into. Silver sparks swirled around the room to settle on various tiles and each corner of the room. "My my Ginny, you have been busy havent you?" Jenn murmured to herself.::

::Careful to avoid the danger zones, Jenn flicked her wand twce and whispered in Ginny's direction "Pedes clone [walking clone in Latin]" She watched as an exact clone of herself entered the room and proceeded to act like they were caught under Ginny's magic disabling spell. As Ginny's attention was centered on the Jenn clone, the real Jenn casted another spell from behind Ginny, "Petrificus Totalus". For good measure she added, " Stupefy"
Muttering her shield spell, she hid, still cloaked by her invisibilty dust.::

::No one noticed Elly standing in the doorway, she was about to enter when she saw Ginny lying on the ground, "The others are already here..." She muttered to herself. She pulled something out of her cloak, something she claimed earlier obn that year. The marauders map. Elly saw Jenn on the map but when she looked up, jenn was no where to be seen. COnfused Elly looked down at the map "The map never lies..." she muttered again. Then Elly realised she must be invisible! Elly smirked and pulled out her wand. She pointedit at the floor beneath enns feet "piso del hielo" (ice floor)

The floor turned into a large patch of ice with Jenn noticing, she slipped and fell on her back,

"Schmelzeis" (melt ice) Yellow sparks shot from Ellys wand and the ice melted. While Jenn was still shocked from teh fall Elly muttered one mroe spell,

"Élévationetgel" (rise and freeze). The water rose in a box around Jenn and instantly froze. Jenn was trapped iside the cube of ice.

::Ginny slowly came to, for when Jenn was frozen into the ice block, her stunning magic had been broken. She looked around, and saw that Elly had entered into the duel. The red head got up with a smile and dusted herself off to greet her daughter.::

“Hello there, Lovey. I guess we better make some precautions in case Dimples comes and wants to help her partner.” ::she pointed her wand at Jenn and muttered.::

“Antedicho alto del aumento,” (raise high above) ::Slowly, the Jenn-sicle began to float six feet above them. She looked up at her fellow Hufflepuff and said.::

“And we don’t want you just falling out of our ice cube now do we Jenn…hm…Hoyo de miedos! (pit of fears)” ::Ginny began tracing a circle directly underneath Jenn while chanting that spell. When the circle was complete, it turned into a pit full of whatever Jenn’s worst fears would be. Her brown eyes flicked back to Elly as she dusted off her hands.::

“I think that’ll do for now, don’t you?”
