Ginny Weasley

Ginny is one of those characters that you either love or hate and I have seen so many debates on whether she is actually a good character or not. Personally I think those who dont like her center around the fact that they dont like her getting with Harry in HBP

Did Harry tell her abouth the horcruxes

I like Ginny. The girl has a lot of spunk and spirit. She is very talented as well. I think she may play a major part in the final battle against good and evil. Her talents could come in handy and I think she would stop at nothing to protect Harry.

She obviously loves him and he loves her... but I think that he cares for her too much to let her come, but I think she'll come anywat becasue she cant just let him leave, though I think her mother will have something to say about that

I've avoided the post about Ginny so far because she is one of my favourite character's and I know she receives a lot of 'bad press' (for lack of a better word) in the fandom.

I like Ginny as a character because she's brave, funny, clever and as Nancy said, spunky and spirited. I honestly don't understand the misconception that she's a 'Mary-Sue' - as I said, I think she's a great character.

As for her relationship with Harry, I believe that she loves him and he loves her (even if he doesn't know it's love yet). I don't think they'll be apart for too long in book seven either.

As for her fate in book seven, I'd like to think that she goes with the trio on their Horcrux hunt, although Harry seemed pretty adamant when he said he didn't want her to go. I have a feeling that perhaps something will happen to her anyway, maybe she'll be injured, and Harry will realise that even if they're not together she's still in danger, and then they'll get back together again.

Ultimately, I think that Ginny will survive the series, and perhaps in an epilogue we'll see her married to Harry with lots of red-haired children!

Ginny is nothing like Hermione, in my view. Hermione lacks self-confidence and hides behind her cleverness. Ginny on the other hand is outgoing. They're both brave, but in different ways.

LOL. I like Ginny, I think she is a crucial part of Harry's life and should be included in book 7. I dont think she's annoying I think shes helpful, shes also loyal, and will stand up for herself, I think she can help Harry becasue in a way she's almost fearless

Ginny is not evil. I like Ginny now she has become older and I believe she will help Harry many times in the last book

LOL I wasnt saying they were your theories, I was just saying I didn't agree with evil Ginny theories in general, and it doesnt really matter becasue we can all have our own opinions.

Okay I actually like Ginny though she is quite low down on my top favorite hp characters list I think shes okay.
One thing I do think though is that she will probably be used at bate for Harry although it has been used before I think it will again someone will tell voldemort about Harry and Ginny and she will be in great danger. Maybe the weasley house will be attacked by death eaters wanting Ginny who knows.

I am really glad that she wasn't used as bait. I think I would have been devasted if Ginny died. I think I really relate to her and I love her personality. She is so caring. I think she is really close to Bill, Fred, and George more so than her other brothers. I like how she is independant and wants to help.

Ginny is my fave character as you might know from my username! She is great and if she had died i would have cried for 2 hours straight and on and off for the next month! she's so great and is perfect with harry!

I really liked how Ginny tried to fight at the Battle of Hogwarts..

BTW: Throughout the whole series did anyone a connection she had with Bill? He seemed to be her favorite brother to me.

I love Ginny and I was happy to see she and Harry were togther in the end, since it shows her liking him through pretty much the whole series

Ginny is cool to me, but mainly because she loves Harry, they get married and because she is a member of the Weasley family, (They excite me)

I am a Harry and Ginny shipper. I love that idea of them together.

i hated her from book 1 to book 6,
i always swore under my breath at her name in the books... she was sooo stupid and pointless, she got possesed in book 2 'what a good start like!'
but when harry fell for her i was sooo happy andi started to like her

I like her. I think she was a great character. She isn't one of my favorite characters, but I never disliked her. I always thought that she was going to do something good for Harry later on. Besides the fact that he had saved her from the Chamber. She was always there for him, and even when he didn't know it. She's a strong character.

I don't see when everyone has it out for wee Ginny.

I have always wondered what a "blazing look" was. It is mentioned A LOT! and I could never quite picture it in my mind.

I know, Ian. I was just kidding.

And, Katie, that sounds like something not good. I mean, if you think about it..if I was to give you a 'blazing look'...that doesn't sound nice does it? I could be wrong, but that's what I think, it's like a glare of some sort. But it's 'blazing' because of their red hair..hehe, lame joke. XD

I always liked Ginny, especially in many of the later books. She grew to be such a strong character and I think she's perfect for Harry. I've been rooting for them to be together since book two.
