Draco Malfoy

Personally I dislike him more than I like him. He is simply a bully, though he mirrors the way a lot of bullys are like. Whilst bullying others he is getting bullyed himself by his father and now voldemort.

We do see his sensative side in HBP with myrtle and the fact that he could not kill dumbledore in cold blood, so what is to become of him? Will he stay on the dark side or repent and return to help harry and co.?

He's obviously scared and I'm glad that shows. I dont like him but after HBP i dont hate him anymore. He is simply fallowing a bad example and wants to make his father proud and to show everyone that he can do it. He's okay I guess but Tom Felton is so Hottt!!

I think that he is mainly the way he is due to his father. I wonder whether there is more intense part with their father son relationship than first seen

I have always wondered if he has been abused.. he verabqlly abuses others and that could be becasue he gets it at hime. But what doesnt make sense is how pampered he is.. it oculd either be that he was bullyied or spoiled take your pick.

I really like this character. Yes, he is a snob and evil and cruel, but he makes the books really interesting.

He, I believe will turn around and join the order's side in the war. He fears Voldemort and he really does not have what it takes to be a true deatheater. He has been to spoiled and pampered in life to really be able to fight on his own.

He will see the sadness and destruction Voldemort and the deatheaters have done to his family and relize that he is on the wrong side.

I really don't blame him for who and what he is. It is the reprecussions of what has been drilled into his head by his parents, Narcissa and especially Lucius. He really never got to see how being on the good side reaps much better than being on the bad side.

hmmm. I dont know about redeeming himself, he might be killled first. I think Voldy will do a number on him anyway, but honestly the other DE might get to him first or he could screw up again trying to please his father or voldy so he might be killed b4 redemtion can aoccur

I agree. I've never liked Draco and I cannot understand the fandom's obsession with him (though I believe this is more to do with Tom Felton than Malfoy as the character).

Im not entirely sure he will die. Yes, I want him too but I actually am starting to think that he wont.

I think he will die redeeming himself, I think that the pressure will all come down on him and eventually drive him to do the right thing and protect Harry or another member of the order or quit the deatheaters

Well I do beleive Draco has the power to love becasue he has been shown it.

I think that Draco is a know it all! Now i think like that around my
sisters, i think its mean to do it in front of others. He can be a real
brat! I think he kinda makes the story more lively at times.

I think he is so hot but why hate harry? Both his parents where from the magical world!

He hates Harry because he is jealous
Harry is famous at everyone loves him he is very talented and admired
He hates Ron even more because Harry chose Ron over him
Hermione because she is so much more cleaver than he can ever be.
But another factor on why he hates them will be because of the prejudiced that his father has drummed into his brain and I think the way Draco turned out is all down to his father and I think that if he was not so scared of voldemort and his father I think he would turn to the order. Though he is to arrogant and has to much pride to ever let this happen.

I think that becauses hes a father now he will be diffrent than Lucius.Lucius treated him like a servant and was a real bully to him and i don't think that he will do that to Scorpius. I think he will be much more understading to him and not as mean.

draco is annoying and should have just gone home with the rest of slytherins instead of staying behind the ugly coward.

well he really coldnt of gone home because both his parents were there but he was only there to impress Voldy and I think it was more Crabbe and Goyles idea from him.. unless he was trying to redeem his father whcih is probablily the motive.

that was most likely the motive but it didn't work and all it did was kill one of his friends.

I agree, because after he joined he was miserable

He was really begin tortured.. if not physically, definitly emotionally and mentally.

It shows the difference between him and Crabbe and Goyle because I don't think he ever wanted to hurt anyone. He was used to being able to use words to get his way with people so he really wasn't used to the whole idea of torturing. And it's not like he could ever NOT join Voldermort with his parents so involved in it.
