Fenrir Greyback

The total oposite to remus. It is werewolves like ferir that make the ministry and the rest of the wizard world hate werewolves.

Also, I dont know if it is just me or not, but it seems like this character represents child abuse, which is another reason I hate him.

I hate Greyback. I think he's just...ugh...he ATE Bill's face whilst he was still HUMAN. That's just...sick.

You're right I think in saying that he represents child abuse...not only does he bite the children, he seems to take pleasure in doing so.

I think Greyback is a character that is meant to show the extreme end of the evil which exists in the wizarding world.

Fenir is really really gross! I hope he dies after what he id to Lupin and Bill.. He sold though isnt he, to bite Lupin when he was a child.

I would have thought they would have shorter life expectancy...

Although that might only be the 'good' werewolves, the ones who harm themselves to prevent themselves from harming other people.

Bad ones, like Fenrir, wouldn't harm themselves because they woud have no qualms in killing other people.

I see no particular etymological connection with "greyback", other than that it sounds rather wolfish. Searching Google, I've found that the name "Greyback" is used for wolf characters in quite a number of video games and works of fiction. I'm categorizing this entry as "green", as I don't believe there's any further etymological connection.

Is it illegal to you vertaserum (sp?) on a convict in the wizarding world? Cause if it's not it would be very easy to find out who's telling the truth and who's not.

Greyback has always creeped me out. The way he attacks people when it's not even the full moon....so disturbing. And the way he purposely creates more werewolves and then raises them to grow up against wizards. He's just twisted.
