Christmas Fete: Winter Concert

Welcome to the Hogwarts Experience's Winter Concert! Here you will have the chance to participate in the concert, be an audience member, and generally have fun. This concert is part of the HE Christmas Fayre Event.

The concert will be RPG style, but please RP as yourselves and NOT your Great Hall character. Just act out a concert, but remember - all songs you perform must be Christmas or Holiday songs!

If you wish you may also make a voice post of you singing your song, that you have recorded.

There will be participant housepoints for everyone - and the more you participate, the more points you will get. The maximum points that can be gained is fifty.

::Amber stepped onto stage nervously. She took a deep breath before beginning to sing Jingle Bell Rock.::

::As soon as she was finished she stepped down. That was terrible! She thought.::

After hearing Amber sing, Jessica clapped and whistled. "Bravo!"

::Amber smiled at them::

"Thanks guys, maybe I'll get back up stage later, but not for a while."

::prinny clapped hard and grinned at amber:: "you were awesome!!"

.: Wow! That was great:.

"Go Amber!" Katie whistled, "Is anyone else going?"

~Jesse clapped loudly~ "Yeah amby!!! WOOHOO!!"

Snapes_ girl congratulated Amber of a job well done. She then walked up to the stage. took the microphine and began to sing;

Snapes_girl then walked off the stage and sat down next to Jesse and Jessica. "That was really bad wasn't it?" She asked.

Jess yawned and thought up some songs she should make Amby sing with her. while waiting for the next performer.

::WL nervously made sure she stayed away from anyone who seemed like they were going to push her on stage...she had an OK voice, but only while in the shower! No one else was supposed to hear it!::

::Amber looked at WL.::

"Hey you look a tad nervous are you okay?"

::Lifey paced back stage...then heard a pause in the music. She took a deep breath, grabbed a microphone (magical of course) and walked out onto the stage.::

:she was wearing form fitting slightly faded blue jeans and a white longsleeved knit top that went down to just above her knees.::

::she sat, placing the microphone in it's stand, on a stool at the front of the stage.

:she nodded for the music to start and began to feel the music run through her.::

::She hummed the first opening notes with the music , and began to sing, quietly and unsure at first. This was one of her favorite songs.::

::her voice became a little stronger.::

::she grabbed the mic from the stand, her voice ringing throughout the hall.::

::she strutted up to the edge of the stage and bending her knees and swaying with the song. and adding an "ohhh!" and proceded to sing her heart out on the finally.::

"Yay Lifey!" Katie cheered. "What a wonderful voice!"

::Jenn was rehearsing her duet with Elana in the back when she heard LIfey singing. Dropping her papers, she ran straight to the front and whistled.::

"Go Lifey!" She cheered as she conjured up roses to toss on stage.::

::Lifey picked up jenns flowers and smiled shyly, rushing offstage.::

::she ran up to jenn and huggled her::

"i love the flowers!" ::she grinned happily::

"and break a leg with the duet!" (i'm not sure if theater superstitions apply to singing..)

Elfie gets onto the stage and prepares herself for rotten tomatoes being thrown at her

Snapes_girl runs up to Elfie and gives her a box of chocolates. "That was magnifico!" SHe shouted. "You shoudl look into singing as a career!"

::Jenn cheered along with Snape's girl. "I think that was terrific Elfie!"

"A hippo song! yeah!!!!!!!!!
Do you want a purple or a green hippo?"

::WL grinned at the hippo song, it brought back memories of her own pet hippo who had left to join the wild hippos of the jungle...

"Hey, that was really good! You should sing more Elfie!"::

"i love you elfie!!!" ::prinny yelled these people really do have guts to go up on stage and sing in front of everyone she thought to hersef i can do it with acting but just not singing...maybe its because i have an awful voice::

"YAY ELFIE!!" ::Amber cheered as she threw snow shaped confetti at her.::

"Great job Elfie!" called Elana. "Our turn?" she asked Jenn. She walked onstage, pulling a grudging Jenn up with her. Elana cleared her throat and grabbed two mics, handing one to Jenn.::

::She smiled out at the crowd of her beloved members of the H.E. and began-

On the first day of Christmas,

::Still grinning, Elana turned to Jenn, mouthing 'Your turn.'::

Grumbling, Jenn took the microphone away from Elana with a glare. Useless against the pout Elana gave her, she smiled and turned to the audience.::

::Twirling around with Elana, Jenn smiled at the audience and continued.

“On the sixth day of Christmas
My hippo gave to me.
Six speech of Jesse’s

Three safe from evictions
Two house elves
And Caroru in a fir tree!”

::Jenn bowed and proceeded to walk off the stage when Elana suddenly pulled her back up.::

“What? I still gotta do more?” Letting out another sigh, Jenn mouth to the audience. “Obsessive….What number was I on again?” (hehe)

“On the seventh day of Christmas

Seven newbies a-jumping.
Six speech of Jesse’s

::At that Jenn winked at the audience. “And we’ll stop there cause the hippo’s broke and can’t afford any more presents for us! But if you would like to hear more later please donate some money!” :D

::Lifey clapped loudly and screamed and cheered for jenn and elana, tossing stuffed bears for them.::

"great job you two! *she smiled, rushing over to hug them::

::She looked around, and it seemed that nobody was onstage at the moment. The crowed was talking amongst themselves.::

::Lifey took a deep breath and heard music for a song she was going to sing come on.::

::She walked onto the stage singing and walking to the beat.::

Last Christmas, I gave you my heart

::She turned from the audience and looked at them over her left shoulder with a bend throughout her body.::

But the very next day, You gave it away

::She turned back to face front and sang to the audience.::

::she walked from center stage to stage left and and continued singing.::

::Lifey pointed out to the auidence.::

:she then whispered::

::and sung in her normal voice.::

I wrapped it up and sent it
With a note saying "I Love You" I meant it

::Lifey gave a small smile then rushed off before the tomatos could get her.::

~Jesse took the stage wearing a pair of antlers and a red nose~ "Well, when Gin gets here we will sing a duet parody of jingle bells." ~He smiled and waved and waited for his partner~

::Ginnu ran on-stage in her red and white fur trimmed elf outfit. With a chuckle, the red head picked up the microphone.::

"Hey everybody, it's your two favourite people ever, ME...and...Jesse...too. Anyways, we're here to sing you guys a little song that we know you'll enjoy. And...if you don't...well...Jesse knows a good crucio so let's just hope you enjoy it, right?" ::she handed Jesse the microphone for him to start::

~Jesse grinned as he took the mic and then nodded to Ginny and looked to the crowd~ "Hope you guys enjoy this one heh here we go!"

~He then started singing a parody of jingle bells~

Dashing to HE
With my dear wife Ginny
having lots of fun
our duet's on the run

now Gin and I will sing
So sit back and clap your hands
and watch us do our thing

::She took a deep breath, knowing full well that the next part of the song could get her disowned-again. Ginny picked up the second microphone and sang the chorus with Jesse::

Caru laid an egg
Amy lost all of her feathers
as Jimmy ate her leg
Ohh jingle bells casting spells
oh the games we play
no other site rules day and night
Like HE does Hooray!" ::she glared at Jesse out of the corner of her eye and sang the next verse by herself.::

Jess sat down in the crowd being yelled at to shush by a few people because her heals were clacking. like it was her fault her Smexy Mrs. Clause outfits heals were clacky! Well anyways yes Jessica Riddle was sitting in the audience of the Concert, as weird as it sounds since she was left completley alone in chat and someone seems to have occupied the stage. She sat back and giggled at Jesse and Ginnys Duet watching the white fuzzy ball on her Mrs. Clause hatt bounce

"WOOOO!" Elana called, hands cupped around her mouth. "Go Mum and Dad!"

::They are too funny, she thought, laughing.::

"See Jenn, that wasn't so bad, was it?" she asked her 'partner in crime' (XD).::

::Jenn smiled at Elana. "Sure wasn't my dear PiC (lol) now that it's over at least!" She remarked with a wink.::

"Ginny! Jesse! Your brillant songs are putting everyone else's to shame!" Jenn called out with a laugh. "Woohoo!"

~Jesse tried to keep from cracking up as he sung the chorus~

"Oh jingle bells, Swifters smells
Caru laid an egg

"Everybody sing along!!!!!!!!!" He shouted as he dove into the chorus one last time with the audience singing along~

~He waved and took his bow with Ginny~ "Thanks guys, that was fun!"

::Ginny bowed, her brown eyes tearing up because she was laughing so hard.::

"That...was...interesting to say the least Jesse." ::she managed to say when she could finally speak again. Ginny quickly hugged him and whispered.:: "Thanks for coming up and singing with me though. Now let's go meet our many fans-they may want our autographs."

"No prob, Gin." ~He said with a grin.~ "I just have to watch out for a dozen whacks from swifters later and probably caru and amy hahaha!" Then he looked around. "If anyone else wants to sing a duet with me, let me know :D " ~Then he sat down in the front row to watch the next person perform.~

"You've just got the whacks to worry about, I might get disowned...again..." ::she mumbled as she sat down next to Jenn. Ginny smiled and asked::

"Well how'd you enjoy my abominable singing?"

::Jenn started laughing again at the mention of Jesse and Ginny's duet. "No, words could describe it!" She joked with a grin.

"Oh, how I wish I could see Amy and Swift's faces when they hear/read this song..." Jenn said wistfully with a mischievious grin.::

::Lifey clapped and cheered for her brother and his wife.:::


::LIfey was starting to have too much fun singing.::

::she waved to the wonderful audience and grabbed the mic.::

::Lifey applauded for everyone, and once again lept up to sing yet another favorite song::

~Jesse clapped and cheered~ "GOOOO SIS!! WOOHOOO!!!" He shouted happily and feeling very hyper~

::Lifey grinned at jesse, grabbed a glass of water, her throat was very dry after all of her singing, and sat down next to him.::

"nice nose" ::She laughed, indicating the rudolph nose he still wore.::

~Jesse laughed~ "Thanks heh, I wanted to dress christmassy :D Good songs you were singing sis! I enjoyed them." He said handing her a warming cup of tea~

::Lifey grinned at the tea.::

"thanks XD. yeah you and ginny did an awesome song...heck all the songs are great. i think christmas songs are some of the best : D"

::Lifey danced around a bit, hyper from the adrenaline rush that lingured after performing onstage.::

"i want to sing again, but i also want to listen for a bit"::She settled into her chair.::


::Lifey grinned at jesse nose for a minute then dragged him up on stage with her and started to sing the first few lines of the classic everyone knew::
