Christmas Fete: Winter Concert

Welcome to the Hogwarts Experience's Winter Concert! Here you will have the chance to participate in the concert, be an audience member, and generally have fun. This concert is part of the HE Christmas Fayre Event.

The concert will be RPG style, but please RP as yourselves and NOT your Great Hall character. Just act out a concert, but remember - all songs you perform must be Christmas or Holiday songs!

If you wish you may also make a voice post of you singing your song, that you have recorded.

There will be participant housepoints for everyone - and the more you participate, the more points you will get. The maximum points that can be gained is fifty.

~Jesse chuckled as Lifey dragged him on stage and then took the mic and sung ~

Rudolph the red nosed reindeer
Had a very shiny nose ~points at his~
and if you ever saw it
you would even say it glowed
All of the other reindeer
used to laugh and call him names
they never let poor rudolph
join in any reindeer games

~he smiled to Lifey so she could take the next verse~

::Lifey nodded and took over.::

Then one foggy christmas eve,
santa came to say

::Lifey turned to her brother and said in her best combination of a santa clause voice and mellowdramatic acting::

Rudolph with your nose so bright,
won't you guide my sleigh tonight?

::Lifey paused so her brother could join in.::

Then how the reindeer loved him,
as they shouted out with glee,
Rudolph the Red nosed reindeer,
you'll go down in history!

::Amber sat back and watched, smiling.::

"Greaat job guys!" ::she called clapping as they finished.::

::Lifey grabbed a glass of sparkling apple juice and took a seat, now acompaning her white knit sweater/top and jeans she wore a fur lined santa hat, smiling and being generally hyper.::

::prinny ran over to lifey:: "omg my dear twinny you rock!!! seriously its not fair...too many people here can sing!"

~Jesse cheered loudly ~ ""Woooohoooo! Who's next?"

Snapes_girl smiled at Jesse. "I will go again." She told him. She walked up to the stage and took the microphone and sang.

"Wooooo, way to go everyone!!!" ::Caree cheered and jumped up and down, cheering for her friends.::

Nancy smiled and thanked everyone. She then sat back down and awaited the next person to perform.

::prinny, still laughing from jesse's song went to congratulate nancy on her snging. by the time she got there her laughs had still not calmed so she guestured intsead::

::Ginny had just woken up after being put into a coma of laughter when she heard Jesse's song. ((really...I was laughing that hard XD)) She got up and picked up the microphone and cleared her throat.::

Nancy jumped up and clapped wildly. "Ginny, that was awesome!" She shouted.

Jess skipped on stage hoping she wasnt interupting anyone.. "Ok guys here goes..."

::Lifey clapped loudly and cheered and tossed flowers and teddy bears for the singers.::

Angel walks up nervosly onto the stage. It had been a while since she had been at Hogwarts and hoped that her comeback would be greeted well.
Clearing her throat she began

"House elves sing, are you listening,
in the kitchen, pumpkins are glistening
A beautiful sight,
they're happy tonight,
walking in a Hogwarts wonderland.

Gone away is the dumbledore,
here to stay is a a red door!
We sing a slytherin song,
as we go along,
walking in a Hogwarts wonderland.

In the ground we can build a snowman,
Then pretend that he is Draco
He'll say: Get lost
the snow we will toss
and bury his self
when we're in hogwarts.

Later on, we'll conspire,
as we dream by the fire
To face the class day,
The slytherins say,
Winning in a Hogwarts wonderland.

Nancy jumped up an down clapping! "A Slytherin Christmas song! Love it!"

::Ginny smiled and clapped, knowing in her heart that Hufflepuff would win. She looked around anxiously and wondered if anyone else would sing or if she should get up again.::

Amy finally decided it was her turn to sing, and so stood up and took the mic.

"This is a little parody song for all of you to enjoy," she said, feeling quite nervous as she looked at the gathered crowd.

Everyone's out Christmas shopping,

Amy set the microphone back in its stand and then stood back, smiling at the crowd.

Nancy ran up on stage and hugged Amy. "That was great!" She shouted above the noise of the applause.

"Wooo, go Amy!!!" ::Caree cheered and applauded among the crowd. She started to dance her way closer to the stage, to get a better look of those who were performing::

While Nancy was up on stage cheering Amy she figured she would sing another song. She picked up the microphe and began to sing:

Harry saw Dumbledore snogging Bellatrix
underneath the mistletoe last night
they didn't see Harry sneak into the Great Hall to have a peek
they thought that he was up in the Gryffindor tower fast asleep

The Harry saw Bellatrix tickle Dumbledore
underneath his beard so snowy white
what a thrill it would have been
if Voldemort had only seen
Dumbledore snogging Bellatrix last night

Nancy stood there smiling.

::Ginny cheered for Amy and Nancy, still laughing from Nancy's great song.::

"Wow! You both were wonderful!"

"Wo! Nancy!" Jessica clapped loudly along with a couple thumbs-up.

::Caree applauded and rushed to the stage, flashing the crowd a charming smile::

"Hello, how are ya all doin'g?" ::she spoke in the mic, grinning widely:: "I'm gonna sing a song... obviously... here goes!" ::Caree said and cleared her throat before starting her song...::

I saw Jimmy kissing Johnny Depp
Underneath the mistletoe last night.
They didn't see me creep
down the stairs to have a peep;
They thought that I was tucked
up in my bedroom fast asleep.

Underneath the creaky step they sat;

::She finished her song laughing and bowed deeply to the crowd, over and over again, before jumping down::

::Amber burst out laughing while clapping.::

"Wonderful, Caree!!!! Whooo! I loved it!!!" she yelled to her.

::laughing prinny said to the person next to her::

::falling about laughing she clapped and cheered as carr leftthe stage::

Nany cheered. "Carre, that was brilliant!"
Nancy got back on stage. She was feeling brave again. "This is my most favorite song I wrote. It's not too christmassy, but it is sung the the tune of here comes Santa Claus." She told the crowd and began to sing.

::Ginny clapped for her daughter and then ran up onstage::

Nancy jumped up and down and cheered for Ginny. "That was awesome! I loved that song!" She yelled over the sounds of the cheering crowd.

Marie came on the stage and smiled nervously at the crowd before she started singing
