Things to do when you are bored

Sometimes you sit there and not have a clue what to do, so this thread is a thread for things to do when you are bored!

(do not take these seriously :D )

THINGS YOU CAN DO WITH ABSOLUTELY NOTHING

Blink wildly and then close your eyes really tight for an interesting light show
(Amusement Potential: 1-5 minutes)
See a variety of blobs, stars and flashes. Try to make out shapes and see if your subconscious is trying to send you a message (perhaps that funny shape is saying, 'send elfie lots of presents''? :D )

Try to not think about penguins
(Amusement Potential: 1-5 minutes)
This is especially hard, because by trying too much, you remember what you were trying to avoid thinking of. If you try too little, you end up thinking about penguins anyway.

Use your secret mind power
(Amusement Potential: 5-10 minutes)
Pick a passing by and try to use your mind power to command them do something, like drop their bag or knock into someone. The law of averages dictates that sooner or later one of your mind commands will come true, so you can convince yourself that you really have super human powers and waste even more time trying them out.

THINGS YOU CAN DO WITH VERY LITTLE

Watch TV, repeat everything said in Italian accent
(Amusement Potential: 5-10 minutes)
Sort of entertaining. Include flamboyant shoulder shrugs for added impact, or go for a Marlon Brando set of grunts.

THINGS YOU CAN DO WITH ANOTHER PERSON

Have a water drinking contest
(Amusement Potential: 5-10 minutes)
While the competition is fun, you probably won't feel too good afterward. To give your event an old western theme, slam the cups upside down on the tables after you have emptied them.

Stare at the back of someone's head until they turn around
(Amusement Potential: 2-5 minutes)
This works on the "I have the feeling I'm being watched" principle. Conduct an experiment-does this really work?

Have a "Who is less competitive" competition
wonder (Amusement Potential: 1-3 minutes)
Trying to win at this will make you lose. Trying to lose makes you win which makes you lose. Not trying at all makes you lose which makes you win which makes you lose.

Pick up a dog so it can see things from your point of view
(Amusement Potential: 3-5 minutes)
Think about it: your dog has only seen the house from a viewpoint from 6" to 2' high (15 to 60 cm for all you metric fans). It's never seen the tops of counters, what you keep on your desk, the tops of shelves, etc. Try looking at things from its point of view, too.

hmm...well, hug a random stranger in the street is soemthing to do. bnever done it myself, I'll try it one day but someone will have to get me to eat lots of suar first.


have a sugar eating contest. Get bags of sugar and see who can finish tehir bag first. Also this makes you go veeeeeeeerry hyper whichis always fun


Put on music and sing and dance like you used to when you weer little. Could be infront of a mirror or not. Always fun.


Get your camera and take random pics of yourself, people around you.


Get a lamp or torch and make shapes on the wall.

Grin broadly on the street and laugh when people look at you like you're insane

find a cockroach and pet it. you may find it easy to locate one, but to pet them is the challenge. ^^

Start baking chocolate chip cookies, but stop halfway through and just eat all the raw batter.

Things I do when I'm bored

1. Turn on my ipod and dance around the house singing and dancing!

2. Bother my dad during a MAJOR Football/basketball game! I love it when he gets mad!

3. Help my brother, Harry with Wrestling practice! I usually win! (It's called using nails...Meowww! lmaooo)

4. Chase my cat buttons around the house until she bangs into something! haha! Does that alot, he does!

5. Mix togehter some weird ingredients and go around the house, making everyone try it! I pay them 5 dollars if they do! hehe!

6. Practice Volley with the neighbor kid..he's only 10 years old! lol

7. Walk down the street and talk to myself and laugh when people look at me all weird! (I do this one alot)

8. Steal random items around the house that my family needs and stash them under my bed until they go crazy looking around for it! (i do this alot too)

9. Steal some alchol and indulge...ssshhhh *looks around* hehe ^.^

10. Take random pictures of everything and everyone! ^.^

11. OHHH I do number one Elfie!! lol, I stare at something real bright then close my and press fingers over my lids...It does cause a really cool sorta show! lmaooo!

My friend did this...it may taste nice...

Get waterm, pour in a bag of sugar, more water, cocopowder, water and more sugar.

I will try that one time.

OR do the infamous bicarbonate soda mixed with vinegar "experiment" minutes of foamy, vinegar smelling fun.

Stare up at the ceiling, talk to it, or to the wall, glue stuff on your walls, annoy your parents, jump from the roof and TRY to aim for the trampoline, watch all the episodes of Jackass and Dirty Sanchez and try to do the stunts you can...

...this is exactly why i try to avoid boredom, it never ends well! :D

-Talk to a poster of a famous Celebrity

-Act out parts from books. Especially Harry Potter

-Pretend to be an actor of a movie and act out there parts as the movie is playing.

-Send voice clips on MSN

-Record me and my friends

-Take pictures

Act out parts of harry optyter! Yes that one has been done! (by me and becky lol) many a time

Well...

Put on as many articles of clothing as possible (layering, people ), walk outside, and count the number of people who stare at you.

Stare at yourself in the mirror and say what's pretty about you (its good to do this at least four times a day :D )

Make up a song on the piano... I have two parts of my song written because I'm bored often :D

And the thing that I always do when I'm bored... GO ON HE! teehee

Write a stupid poem and then laugh veryy hard. Or eat way to much sugar and have waayyyy too much caffine. That'll get you unbored in no time!

Type or write, thats what I do, but If I'm with my friends, hehehe another story.

-Hold a fear factor contest

-see who can hold their breath the longest

-stand on their head the longest.

-how many letters in the alpebete(sp?) you can burb without stopping.

-put your clothes on backwards go down the street smiling very wide and talking to yourself in very loud voice, (if you can j a straight face, this is a very good one fore you)

-buy a coloring book and time yourself how long it takes to fill it up.

-Call a wrong number and talk to whoever anwsers

-Prank Phone calls,
"Hello is lucy there?"

go through one of your year books and find a number of a person you don't even know and call them and see if they remember you

Stick your finger up your nose then count to ten then pull it out and flick your boogers at the wall then repeat with the other side and keep score till all the boogers are gone...

Well, my new boredom buster (teehee) is to chew my tongue... I don't really know why, and my tongue is getting kind of sore, but I can't help it :D

Dance Dance Revolution, (if it's avaible) a good way to lose weight and have fun at the same time

ok heres one.....

it is supposed to be impossible to crack an egg by pushing on the top and bottom at the same time with two fingers.

make sure its exactly the top and the bottom

and then....see if it cracks!

My new boredom buster is to watch the cold beginning of the "Back From Vacation" Episode of the Office... I swear, I almost wet myself laughing :D

Here's A few new ones!!

- On loong car rides me and my brotherwhen we pass houses we give a thumbs up for a good looking house and a thumbs down for a bad looking house...it passes time..

- Trying to figure which came first the chicken or the egg. (Harry thinks its the egg and I say Chicken because God put animals on the world first! HA! I solved it! I'm sooo smart!)

- Poke your finger in your eye and move your contact around. It makes people squirm!! hehe! ^.^ (IT ONLY WORKS IF YOU WEAR CONTACTS!!! *looks at Harry and shakes head*)

- Dial random numbers and pretend to speak a different languae (Use *69 ppl!)

- Gather up spit and see who can spit the farthest!! (hehe! I can!! My brother is a foot behind my record! HAHA!)

Okay when I'm bored I usually

- do anything HP related
- Go on HE
- Read a book
- Watch tv
- go to the monument (all the goths and emos go there in there free time so theres always someone to talk to)
- phone my friends and tell them im bored
- watch a movie
- dance around the living room and sing
- go for a jog

I do all them alot because well im always bored.

I'll go to the park and talk to those happily selfsuicideable emos xD OH YES I DO!!!!!

...hell no...

I just stare at the ceiling, count sheeps and try to sleep for awhile, but then get worried about the sheeps after they have jumped over that darn fence xD

After that, I... eat!

After that I watch DVD after DVD, over and over again, until i'm all BLING BLING int he head of all the booming and baaming :D

...then maybe i could go to the beach xD

Maybe i should jump over all that and just go to the beach with Frankie :D

GOOD IDEA!!!!!

I usually just go out horse riding

I:

-go on HE
-read fanfics
-sit there and be bored XD
-listen to music

I watch all the special features on all my DVD's; how the movie was made, interviews, blooper (the best part), etc... also, I like to watch the movies dubbed in other languages. Harry Potter in Swedish or Finnish is hilarious! :D

And then last but not least; listen to the audio commentaries. They're usually loads of fun :D When the actors or directors tell about a scene, it's very entertaining.

If you do this to a couple of your DVD's, you've just spent a nice few hours xD
