| A thread more for the girls, I think, but here's where we can talk about clothes, shoes, bags, jewellery...anything to do with fashion.
What style of clothes do you wear?
Are you addicted to buying shoes? Bags?
I'm in desperate need of some new shoes, but none of the shops seem to have what I want *sigh*. I want some plain-ish ballet pump style shoes in a dark colour, round toed and with perhaps a nice bit of detail on them - stitching or something.
I'm going shopping tomorrow and as well as hopefully finding some shoes I want to try and get some new t-shirts, new jeans (dark denim, smart cut) and a new jacket.

| Fashion and me - kinda parallel. xD
Welll no, exaggerating. I guess you could say my style is casual/sporty ... jeans - often my baggy-looking-because-accidentally-bought-one-size-too-big ones XD -, t-shirts and hoodies and of course, trainers (converse shoes or as big as possible hip-hop-ish ones are my faves hehe). And maybe moccasins or ballerinas in summer, but in any case, no high-heels (except maybe for special occasions .. how can anyone walk on those? XD -... I've even seen a girl ride her bike in high heels - mad, I tell ya, mad! :D). ... and as much as I like shopping at times, it often annoys me - especially buying trousers, they hardly ever seem to fit (and why, oh why do those mirrors in shops always make you look three times as big as you actually are? .... or maybe it's not their fault? XD)
And about jewelry - mostly just my ring that I got from my mum a few years ago, I've gotten very attached to it, if attached is the right feeling towards a ring, and leaving the house without it just doesn't feel right anymore :D
Bah, now you mentioned the jacket... I also think I'll need a new one.. grrr. And my mum keeps bugging me to think of a dress for the summer ball (which is actually the graduation ball) in June... I keep telling her it's too early and I'm probably just gonna buy whatever in the last week before it XD
I *so* hate shopping when I know I need something... somehow, that's always when I can't seem to find anything decent, or decent enough to be worth the money. The best shopping is the unplanned one, if you ask me - you know, when you just happen to stroll through the mall, because you just needed to have a quick meal and then something catches your eye and you go all "weeeee, I must have that!" :D ... unfortunately, those are also the moments when I usually have no money XD

I completely get what you mean - especially if it's something you need urgently. I was shopping for an interview outfit last year and there was nothing that I liked in any of the shops - it was a stressful experience :D

| Well I used to be all gothic and emoish clothes but I don't wear them any more.
I don't really have a specific style, my sort of shopping motto is 'Buy cheap buy twice' so all my clothes are quite expesive but I don't have that many. I don't own a pair of trousers I just live in skirts and dresses. I'm the only girl in my school wearing a skirt at the moment. My friends sort of describe my clothes as being out of another era. So if I had to be classed as something my clothes are a sort of modern day little house on the prairie style.
I have quite a bit of necklaces and thats the only jewllery I wear. Thinking about that I just brought a new one today only £8 ^.^ the shops closing down.
