| I love this show sooo much Ok I have only seen one esp but I can't wait until thursday when the 2nd one is on. I think its just sooo wow and no matter what anyone says I am NOT like Cassie!loool
Its soo weird that he is the boy from about a boy its just not right lol
I gotta say I do love to take the mick out of the posh girls voice bring your friends YA???

| I thought it was...starneg but cool. It's written by that guy who used to present T4 so it's understandable that it's so strange. I found it hilarious when they were at that party and the posh guy was trying to act gansta and all "So who wants to party?" (or soemthing like that) and his accent sounded quite...hilarious. lol | |

The hugely popular, zeitgeist-capturing Skins is back for its second series on E4 in February, this time running for ten episodes.
Here's a shocker (not): Tony is alive. Hurrah! The new series is set six months after the conclusion of the last - and Tony is a changed man, in fact a shadow of the man his best mate Sid always looked up to.
As for Sid, he finally got together with Cassie in the missing six months, only for her parents to whisk her away to Scotland. All Cassie can dream of is one day returning to Sid and for them to live happily ever after.... aww! Hang on, there's a whole series to fill! Let's assume it isn't as simple as that.
Michelle has family troubles of her own. Her mother has married another man (bye bye, Danny Dyer), in the process bestowing her with a randy step-sister who keeps trying it on with all of her mates.
Another shock now - Maxxie actually has a family! His dad's giving him grief over his ambitions to follow his dreams and be a dancer. Best friend Anwar has bagged himself a secret girlfriend...
Jal is also a changed character. She's decided to ditch the good girl image and let her hair down for a change. Finally, poor Chris. Having been expelled, he's now resolved to step out on his own and make his way in the big wide world.

| So, who's been watching series two?
I love that the first couple of episodes have been centered around Maxxie; he's such a great character.
Sketch was...interesting. Quite a messed-up girl there, I think. But it looks like she's being introduced as a more regular character - I've heard that Anwar's episode is about girlfriend problems, so is she going to be his girlfriend?
I actually feel sorry for Tony this series, and I didn't like him at all last series.
This series is good so far, let's hope the rest of the episodes are great as well! | |

| We can't be the only people on the site watching series two?? Where are all the other Skins fans! It's a fantastic show - get watching! Episode three was so sad  - Spoiler:
I was expecting someone to die (from the last week's preview), but I thought it'd be the grandad, not his dad! And then the trains crossing...Cassie going back and Sid going to Scotland Although my sister pointed out tht it looked like Cassie was smiling across at someone, so is it possible that both Sid *and* Cassie were on the train travelling back to Bristol, and that was just some misdirection at the end there? Next week's ep looks like a more lighthearted one...from the skinny dipping previews I've seen at any rate!

| Personally I've never watched it but all my friends obsesses over it, I asked my media teacher about it and he said it was too obviously aimed at a certain age group and its not my sort of thing. So I never watched it though I have been considering trying an episode. | |

| I just watched the first episode of Season 1 and working on episode 2, Kaylee is still working on the 1st. Well we like the show so far and we can already tell we have to watch all of it cause I think we are getting hooked...at least I am.
Oh and its your fault Rai! grrrs *glare*. See we were photo base hunting for a role playing, saw the actor who played Maxxie, then decided to look him up on youtube since we remembered him from Rai's sig, and then we saw he was a character on skins, so now we is watching....stupid Rai XD | |

It's an amazing series, one of the best things to come out of British TV for ages (that, and the Doctor Who franchise!)
Series two gets even better than series one, IMO. Definitely keep hunting links to watch it, Cat (and Kaylee!)

I just finished episode 8 of season two and....

I am bawling like a baby right now - why Chris I mean I read somewhere whats going to happen but it doesn't make it any less sad. I am glad that Tony finally got his head together, and so far he isn't going back to being that jerk that he was before. And I  so big when Maxxie walked into the classroom with his boyfriend. When that happened I was just priorly thinking about the fact that everyone else has had someone other than Maxxie - well if you don't include the crazy stalker girl (which I don't) and Maxxie is one of my favorites I want him to be happy  I'm still in love with the part - Cassie - 'Maxxie you look so horney' Maxxie - 'You can tell?' LoL But my only question is if I'm bawling like this now and I still have only two more episodes left before the end - I don't want to see what's going to happen when I get there. I'll probably be a big sobbing mess.

| I finished the entire 2nd season yesterday and all I have to say is...

I was bawling like a baby  ask Cat she was talking to me. I swear I was crying for a good hour and a half. Every time I thought I was finally done something would happen that would make me cry all over again. I thought the ending was almost bittersweet, they left so much left unfinished. Like Cassie and Sid for instance, they show Sid right out side of where she was but didn't say if he found her or not And then theirs Tony and Michelle - they finally got everything figured out and now they are heading of to different colleges. Even I must admit that I just wanted to kiss Tony when he told Sid that he loved him. My opinion on Tony went back and forth a LOT but I always had a soft spot for him, and well that ending with him just made me want to hug him I love how Maxxie didn't leave Anwar behind. I really wish they would have shown more of those two. It just really sucks that Chris was my favorite from the very start and he was the one who died. And it was very bittersweet I mean with him finally getting his life back together, and I wanted to cry for him when I heard how upset he was about Jal and her wanting an abortion. But I think in the end she did the right thing for herself. I will never be able to look at another goldfish without Chris crossing my mind
I'm still not really sure if I'm going to watch the next season or not. I mean Effy is cool an all, but I just don't know if it will be the same. | |
