Love in the HP books (and dumbledores death)

One of the most important themes for HBP is love in different forms.
Earlier in the series, we have heard countless times that love is some
kind of ancient magic, too, which was used by Lily to save Harry.
Apparently, death was necessary for her to secure this magic. So, what
if Dumbledore has ordered Snape to kill him? The rationale could be
that he then can by loving Harry as a father (or some kind of
ancestor) and die for him, thereby preserving his love somehow and
thus manage to save Harry once more? Harry can in the future be the
Boy Who Lived Twice? Dumbledore's also told LV 1) that death is not
the worst thing that can happen to you and 2) there is some magic he
does not understand. So, love could be a powerful weapon in the war,
especially if the dark side does not know how to use it.

Umm.. idk. I really dont think so.. it doesnt make sense to me. No sorry, it just wasn tthe right situation. uh-uh

Love is a central theme in the books, but I don't know if Dumbledore's death would have the same effect as Lily's death did.

I think if the love theme continues in DH, it would be the friendship love of Ron and Hermione, and the romantic love of Ginny.

friendship love of Ron and Hermione???? - sorry, my shipper mind is not quite getting this but it's offtopic anyway... XD

anyhow, I think Dumbledore's words about love, except for refering to Lily's protective love, mean that everybody should be united in order to defeat Voldemort. Or maybe Harry's love for Ginny will somehow help him to defeat Voldie - although I've honestly heard this so often... XD

Interesting and it seems that Dumbledore was willing to die and show that dying is not the worst, interesting...

i like this theory but i still stand strong that dumbledore is dead no matter how wonderful it would be to have him back o yes thats of topic maybe he did but it wouldent have the sa,e effect dumbledore cared for harry not loved him

He still communicated though through his portrait. I was surprrized how big a role his portrait had.
