We had a similar rememeber when discussion at the end of 2006, so now here is another thread that holds housepoints

Simply start each post with 'remember when' and go on to discuss one thing at a time!
You can not duplicate someone elses 'memory' so read carefully and be descriptive!

Remember when Jesse had everyone in stitches of laughter in the HE chat room because he got too close to a pot of glue and a chair and people spent hours trying to help him unstick himself

I remember when - back on HE this summer for my wedding. It was the happiest and saddest day of my life actually. June 16, 2006 - I had been impatiently waiting for the start of it. I also refused to talk to Roman because of tradition [I still don't see how I made it through that day] and everyone on HE was invited. Everything went wrong as well when my maid of honor Kitty couldn't make it and groomsmen Jesse couldn't be there. It also seemed like everyone was kicked off too. Five o'clock rolls around and it was supposed to start - I had everything ready. And poof! Real life got in the way and let's just say my dad decided to argue with me - for an HOUR. Poor Roman was freaking out because I wasn't there and everyone was getting antsy waiting. Poor Jenn tried to keep them under control but it just wasn't working. Finally I had come! Much to Roman's relief might I add and the wedding would being - finally. Although a few "children" were talking and causing trouble during the entire thing and there was Jenn - paining to get through the ceremony. Mummy Marie had her umbrella ready to hit Roman over the head and when the I do's were finally said we were married. Stealthy was the best man and Swifty was the maid of honor! They both made such wonderful speeches and I was trying my hardest to keep my newly appointed father-in-law from getting my husband drunk. Lol - the sad part about it was that I found out Roman wouldn't be around as much anymore. But in the end it was a beautiful ceremony and I had a great dress and ring and that's what is important! Just kidding! What's important was that I had my Roman and everything was absolutely perfect. And I plan to stay married to ONE man and one man only. The end!

Remember when the server had its very first and (touch wood) only huge downtime? I had gone to bed half an hour before and I get a phonecall (the very first one of many) from a very concerned swifty (with her squeeky voice) telling me all was lost! I jumped onto the computer, waking everyone in the house, to try and fix the problem, only to find out that I had to wait until morning. Finally the server came up but we had lost loads of posts and I spent hours bringing the site back up to date! Luckily we all had the chat room running perfectly!

Remember when...

...we were planning Sharon and Mick's wedding present from the site? We had to work so hard to keep it a secret! I remember one time in chat we were talking about our patches for the celebration quilt, and elfie came in - we had to shut up pretty quickly!

We managed to keep it a secret though, until we revealed it to them three days before their wedding.

Anyway, Remember when the site was only a day old and there were only a few of us here and no one really knew what they were doing (well I didnt) yet we all raced for our house and began preparations before loads of people began pouring in!

Remember when Cill (MIN SVENSKA FLICKA!!!!) married Car Horn? Yes, it was such a touching moment... for everyone xD Later on, we were speculating how their children would look like, it was hilarious :D This was in the very first Chat Room, and after that day, no one could use the Car Horn the same way as Cill did. That was so fun- late summer if I remember correctly -and whoever wanted to got to sign up to 'act' as a HP character and 'perform' the play. We made it up as it went along and it was amazing! I missed the first week or so, I think, so when I (Parvati) came in I didn't bother reading the pages that had already been written. But I remember after I came whoever were playing Harry and Hermione tried for a Harmony while the Ginny character was trying for a Hinny. Draco tried to kill Harry, but Padma and Parvati intervened and were tortured by him until Hannah came and saved them! But somehow I think Harry got captured by Voldemort...anyway, Padma and Parvati ran up to the staff room to get the professors and when they got down I think that's about where it ended.

The memory of the play is one of my best of the site because it was one of the first chances I had to rp. As many know I am the co-pressie of the very awesome (and inactive) rp club and the play was an opportunity for me to learn how to rp and it was so fun!

Remember the Battle of the Bands?

That was one of my favourite memories, along with the Lord of the Dance. We were all so enthusiastic and we all pulled together to record our voices, make costumes, stages, merchandise, Padfoot made thigns funnier (Padfoot Potter? Also known as Madfoot? Aw, where did he disappear to?)

It was such a crazy time but I don't know how I'd be without all of the memories. In the first year, I remember joining up and feeling completely lost, even though the site was still quite small and starting up...I used to think that we HAD to finish all the classes and it was compulsory, as well as all the other things like duelling and stuff so I signed up for it all. It was only until Sharon told me (in passing but I still remember) that "You don't have to do anything it's just for fun" that I realised that uh oh...too much!

That's the thing though, it can never be too much. My mum knows nothing of my obsession with HP, and HE, but I still try and be as active as I can. So many people have joined up to this site, but they don't see it for what it really is.

We ARE a close knit family.

And I wouldn't have it any other way.

Now that was fun, nd i was half right when i said Trewlawny killed herself. :D I think what made it fun was getting to interview all the charecters involved and eliminate them one by one and their rerluctance to answer properly now that, that was one of y best memories.

That was such a fun event! Kitkat and I did a dance to a song from Grease (don't remember what it was but it was awesome), dressed up in poodle skirts and I know a flying car was involved at one point or another...

Anyway, it was a great event and a fun opportunity to bond with a housemate!

The thing I remember most? March 14th 2006. Or, at least, the day after. And the day after that...

The first day, Faith had told us she was going into hospital, to save her mom. That first day was her birthday. 16, she was. Is. Remember everyone saying happy birthday to her and wishing her luck for the operation? So then she went...

Wednesday, March 15th, 2006 - 5-6ishPM, GMT: Iced_Cherriez comes into chat. You all remember Cheryl, don't you? She was an amazing girl... so she comes into chat and... would you believe me if I said I was crying right now? So then... Faith had died during the operation and... her mom was still alive... she had died on her sweet sixteenth....

I remember, phoning Mitalee - WL - her mum picked up the phone and I was crying so so hard... And I went to school the next day, and couldn't stop crying. I cried when I got home, and it was just so hard to think about anything sensible.

People tried to comfort me, but I don't think they understood just how close we are on here, even though it's just a site. It was weird, really... someone you've never met, but talked to so much, who lives on the other side of the world.

I'm gonna stop before I really start crying.

Remember when the mods went mad? OK, so I know that's every day, but there was one occasion when we went madder than usual.

Sharon, Lisa, Marie and myself were in a skype call, as well as being in the old chat room. For some unknown reason, we decided to swap names - in the chat you used to be able to change your nickname - so we swapped names and pretended to be each other.

I remember that we were in fits of giggles in our call, so much so that we could barely breathe, and that everyone in chat at that time got annoyed with us. It was one of those moments where you had to be there to find it funny, I think :D

Ooh, and speaking of the chatroom, remember how if you tried to change your name to Jesus or God it would say "Erroneous nickname: You aren't him and if you were you could overcome this!"

I remember when we had the lovely Remus situation and Lifey and elfie and myself had to make a mad dash to a private chat room to sort out the mess and then we had to look all over the site with the other mods to delete all of the posts Remus had made.

I remember when I married the chatbox for about 12 hours and then divorced him when he kept kicking me off.

I remember when Caree made me into "THE CHOSEN ONE" In her owl mafia group and called me her most trusted member. Then I slipped in the chatbox and said that I was going to send something to Jessie "IN" an owl instead of saying by owl and Caree yelled at me for my attempted cruelty to her owl friend..XD...She stripped me of my title for a while but then gave it back to me after a while.

I remember when I almost died of laughter when our very own headmistress joined our team in the quidditch holiday match! This was the funniest thing I have ever read in my life! She landed on top of me on my broom and i had to use her arm as a beaters bat which was where her head was if I remember correctly!

Remember all of the times Caree got trapped in a freezer? We had people marrying and adopting left right and centre, it was hilarious, funny, amusing, confusing and downright mad...

I think that by far the worst were Ginny and Jesse, they drove me and Swifty (as their "parents") mad, since they were making up grandparents to over fourty kids!!!! XD...

I felt a bit sorry for Marie...She isn't old enough to be a great great great too-many-times-to-count-great grandmother...

ok...so becky was ginny and jesse's daughter and..my sister. Jesse made her get married to pad who was beckys brother so that they could adopt skully. then somehow the two of them got divorced and rai-rai adopted skully. and then jesse unadopted becky so christina (silverlady) adopted her. so becky went from being my sister to my granddaughter...XD

lol and here's one not many people will remember...the first homework i ever did was a divination one and it was about crystal gazing. i had to tell ettie's future and i was kind of...insane. it was all about purple hippos and how ettie tickled a sleeping one and it turned out to be elfie;s mom. that was uber strange!

i remember when Elly did that same homework, i wanted to kill her because she gave me kids, Jesse also did it and made me his faithful servant, honestly i was his servant getting made quite literally peanuts. Anyway, this is not so old, but remember Nancy's and Jesse's wedding? That was chatbox gone crazy! - I couldn't even keep up with the posting speed! XD And it was my record HE-night-time-online-ness (hope you understand this word I just came up with XD) - and it was the very same night I adopted Becky! I remember her saying she needed a mommy and Nancy and me offered to adopt her at the same time, but Nancy was a sweetie and let me adopt her! Oh .... well, Aliza wasn't very happy to be a grandmother .. she almost un-adopted me because of that but now everything's fine! *huggles*

And another funny CB moment was for me when Jesse began speaking as a narrator about himself 2 or 3 nights ago XD

Is it just me, or are a lot of these memories mentioning me? :D Haha but no I remember a lot of fun stuff- just recently my female alter ego possessed me and i had to lock her into the trunk of terrifying tauntings- which she is still there with her hot pink hand bag/purse. So, the only way to bring her back is...well I won't say. Mwahahaha but hey, it was fun to freak people out with my 'Jesse-ica' side affraid
