Welcome to yet another event at The Hogwarts Experience. The Hogwarts Experience Fashion Show!

There will be a few different parts to the fashion show, each holding a number of housepoints to start off the new term.

The different parts are as follows;

House Participation

This is an area which will be marked for each house on their group work and participation. 500 housepoints is avaliable for the best group.

Fashion Show Categories

For each category, there needs to be at least three participants. Each participant will need to post in the designated category threads with the following;

* Their Costume
* A description of their costume
* Price
* An RPG walk down the catwalk
* Music to walk down to

And the categories are as follows:

1. Sports Wear - Each participant needs to cover a different sport
2. Prom Wear
3. Street Wear
4. Fashion Police - Descriptions must incluse reasons why people should NOT wear these
5. Nightclub Wear
6. A Day at the Races
7. Beach Wear
8. Wedding Fashion - Each participant needs to be a bride once, a groom once and a bridesmaid once! (groups on catwalk)
9. Easter Fashion
10. Hogwarts - Focusing upon your own house
11. Teenage Fashion
12. Gothic Fashion
13. Fantasy and Science Fiction
14. Swimwear
15. Vintage wear
16. May Queen and King - Each participant needs to be may queen/king and may princess princess/prince at least once (groups on catwalk)
17. Named Wear - Each participant needs to select a different named costime
18. Circus Wear
19. Celebrity wear - Each participant taking a different celebrity
20. Geisha
21. Rock and Roll
22. At the movies - Ach participant needs to model a different character form different movies

Scores will be given to each participant individually as well as scores for group work.

Promotions

Each house will have a thread to promote their cat walk show. Things to be marked within this include;

* Group teamwork
* Organisation
* Promotional
* Gifts
* Events Programme

Your heads of house will open discussion and preparation threads within your house shortly and in about 1 week the events will open in the event forum!

Well, the time has arrived where all your planning and creating will be brought together.

The fashion show will be opening Saturday 10th March approximately 6pm (GMT)

How will it work?

Promotion

Each house will have a separate promotion forum which will be open throughout the whole fashion show. Everyone in the house can participate in the promotions.

You will be marked on the following;

* Group teamwork
* Organisation
* Promotional - ideas, creativity and inventivness
* Gifts
* Events Programme (This will need to be put together in 1 or 2 posts in whichever way you wish)

Fashion Categories

Each category will have specific opening date (please see post below). There will be one for each house. ONLY those in the category group (names given to me by the heads of house) can post in each thread.

You will be marked on the following;

Costumes and descriptions
The RPG Catwalk show as a whole
Music, set design, lighting and other behind the scenes
Other information
Individual Performance and Group work

Support Categories

There will be four seperate posts for people to post their thoughts, opinions, orders for promotional gifts and support for each of the houses. Anyone from any house, whether in the show or not, may post in these threads.

Each category will be open for one week before the next one opens!

How Categories are Scored

Costumes and descriptions Maximum of 100 per person per category
The RPG Catwalk show as a whole Maximum of 150 per person per category
Music, set design, lighting and other behind the scenes Maximum of 150 per category
Other information Depending upon information
Individual Performance Added maximum of 200 per category
Group work Maximum of 200 per category

Promotion:

Group teamwork Maximum of 500
Organisation Maximum of 400
Promotional - ideas, creativity and inventivness Maximum of 300
Gifts Maximum of 200
Events Programme Maximum of 400

Due to myself being ill these last few days, Wedding Fashion and Hogwarts fashion are running over the specified dates and can still be posted in. These should be closed on Thursday 12th April pm gmt.

due to this slight change, dates after this will be changed slightly. Please check the date changes after this weeks categories have been closed.

Please note:

At the movies ~ A Day at the Races ~ Beach Wear categories will be open until Friday 4th May instead of the original closing date of Tuesday to give you all some extra time to add up your housepoints

Date change to: Sunday 6th May 2007 to Thursday 17th May 2007

The final week categories are being missed out so to be able to end the Fashion Show event and make room for the next event.

The final scores are now being calculated and then all housepoints will be updated.
