The Hogwarts Experience Pantomime: Information

This Christmas, HE will be putting on two pantomimes: Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty.

You will find out which group you have been put in below.

The first stage of the pantomime will be planning: you must decide amongst yourselves who will play which role, however if you are unable to come to a decision then I will simply assign you roles. Remember, this is a pantomime, so it doesn't matter if you're a female playing a male role or vice-versa! You must also plan other aspects of the performance, more information will be given in the relative threads.

The second stage of the pantomime will be to stage the performance.

Like all events here at HE, this one holds many housepoints!

What points can you earn from the pantomime?

Planning Stage
-Up to 400 points for everyone who contributes to the planning stage.

Performance
-300 points for everyone who contributes a page to their programme
-300 points for everyone who posts their costume + description
-Up to 600 points for everyone who participates in the performance

A possible total of 1600 points per person for the whole event!

The following is what you must do to plan your pantomime for that all-important performance!

-Decide amongst yourselves who will take what role. There are, of course, going to be some roles that are bigger than others. But as it is your pantomime, you can give even the smallest role something amazing to do! Submit to me by PM who will be taking which role by the 8th December!

-Come up with the parts to the story using the character's you've been given. You may find it helpful to look at the following website, which has several scripts for this pantomime: http://www.lazybeescripts.co.uk/

-At least two songs should be written by you (they can be to the tune of an existing song, but the words must be of your own invention). The songs will then be used in the performance!

-A slapstick scene must be designed for incorporation into the performance!

-Costumes thought up for each character - these can be dolls, hand-drawn or computer created. Each person should design their individual costume.

-A programme designed that consists of at least a page per person (will be posted during the performance).

I know this is not the right place to ask but I think the sign ups have closed and I was wondering whether there is a possibility of still taking part? If not, dont worry - I should set my alarm clock lol

Sorry for not replying to you sooner, the sign-ups for the pantomime are now over, and I can't really add you into one of them. Sorry!

The performance threads have been opened!

Each pantomime has three threads in which to post in:

-The performance thread: Here you should RPG your pantomime performance. Each cast member has the opportunity to earn up to 600 points for this!

-The costume thread: Here each member should post their costume plus a description. You should post only your costume and not that of another cast member. There are 300 points available for this task!

-The programme thread: Here is where you should post your programme, with details of the pantomime and its cast. Each member should post a page, which will earn them 300 points.

If no further participation is shown before the end of term, no points will be earned.
