ROUND 1: GROUP 3 : Kit V Harryandginnyfan

Location: Outside Hagrid's hut.

Seilin frowned to herself as she looked around the battle field. It would hurt if they fell down, seeing as the ground was littered with stones. Wait a second. Stones, she knew how to do something with them. Choosing a decently sized stone, the girl made a half-circle spin with her wand while muttering. "Swordania." The rock seemed to twist into itself and then grow, leaving behind a large sword. A zanbattou, with a blade the same height as Seilin herself. The handle was her arms length, and was used for two-handed weilding. Seilin smiled as she grasped the handle and lifted it easily with both hands, her wand tucked into her wand holster. Setting the sword down point down in the ground, she brought her wand out again. "It is way to bright out here. Kuroitte." A dark fog seemed to surround the area, blocking off some of the sun's rays to make the area look shadowed and dark. "That's more like it!" The werewolf smiled to herself as she picked up her sword again, turning it this way and that just for practice.

Rick watched as the fog rolled in, and had seen Seilin with her sword. He was hidden under his invisibility cloak, and she hadn't noticed him yet. Crouching down a bit, he performed a disillusionment charm on himself and carefully removed the cloak and shrunk it before putting it in his pocket. They were nothing to have a duel in, that was for sure. Formulating a plan in his head, he stood up and pointed his wand at Seilin and whispered, "Astrum Luminarium". A ball of pure white light shot out of his wand and lit the surrounding area in sun light. The spell would blind Seilin temporarily, and Rick decided to take that opportunity to try and stun her. "Stupefy!" he shouted with his wand pointed at her heart.

The girl frowned as she heard a shuffle behind her, and then a bright light covered the area. 'Oh dear, gotta move.' Instinctively, she raised her large sword and jumped towards the right, her eyes widening as she heard the word Stupefy and then saw a bright red light hit her sword, where she was a few seconds ago. Using her sword as a channel for her magic, she waved it towards Rick, murmuring "Incarcerous." Ropes sprung from the sword towards Rick, hoping to bind him, but on the chance that it wouldn't work, she lifted the sword up and ran towards Rick, hoping to distract him as she brought the sword down towards where Rick was standing.

Rick knew his Stupefy was off a little bit. He didn't know how she was able to see besides inistinct, but with the advantage of sight on his side he jumped far to the left sending a blasting curse and his incarcerous at Seilin. He dodged the sword as it neared him. Realizing that the sword was going to cause him some problems he sent a transfiguration spell at the nearest rock which turned itself into a four foot long sword tipped in a green looking poison. Wheeling it around, he struck at Seilin and started parrying before sending another Stupefy at her when she looked distracted.

The girl smiled. Another sworduser? She pointed at her sword with her wand and murmured a spell. The sword became charged with electricity and she turned it towards her opponent to block the incarcerous. Seilin jumped backwards and then ran forwards, inadvertantly dodging the stupefy, hoping to come in close. Drawing her sword down quickly, she reinforced the electricity that was running through it, knowing that the boy would have to dodge it to avoid any damage. After all, swords were all some kind of conductor, right? She jumped backwards quickly, regardless of whether her hit had made or not, and then spiralled her wand in the air. "Tsuku." The rocks around her started to come together and the rocks around her opponent started to grow upwards to form a wall around her opponent.

"Finite Incantatem," Rick shouted. The rocks stopped growing and returned to their normal size. Feeling just a little angered at the ineffectiveness of his stunning spells he sent her way. Everytime he sent one at her, she found some way to dodge it. Ducking down to the ground he sent an incarcerous at her, followed up by a shout of "Abscido" pointing his wand at her sword hand. The cutting hex took a moment to travel to Seilin, and he was hoping against hope that it would connect. He figured that if the cutting hex missed her hand it would cut the sword in half. The hex travled faster and cut the sword clean off at the handle. Catching Seilin off guard, he sent another stunning spell at her and waited for it to connect. He threw a protego on himself and waited.

ooc: i'm SOOOOO sorry for the late reply, I've been sick all week. and please don't pp... i was gonna let that cutting hex hit. oh well

Frowning, she looked down at her broken sword and then hurled it in the way of the stupefy as she pulled out her wand. "Komaru." The wand was pointed at the ground near where Rick was standing, and suddenly the ground started breaking apart in that area, as if there was an earthquake. Spinning her wand once more, she stepped backwards and brought up a strange semi-transparent silver shield with the word "Protectum." Seilin almost hit herself in the head when she realized that it was something that she should have done from the very beginning. She frowned as she looked at the Protego shield around her opponent. Time to bring that down. Lowering her arm toward the shield, she found the center and then calmly incanted a blasting curse.
