Cat sat in a seat backstage all huffy-puffy as a hairdresser put her hair up in two buns on the side of her head. She did not want to be here today. She wasn’t feeling good and she wasn’t even supposed to be here in the first place. But being as nice as she was she agreed to come. Once the hairdresser finished up a makeup artist put on her some horrid makeup.

Today was the fashion police segment of the fashion show. Cat hated her outfit. It looked like a horrifying imitation of a Princess Laya[sp?] costume from Star Wars. Cat looked in the mirror and sighed. The American Idol judges were going to be here today and she was going to meet them like this. Cat was a bit confused why there was a fashion event for unfashionable articles of clothing. Cat shrugged it off and finished getting ready.

As the Star Wars theme song began to play, she walked out onto the catwalk. By the end of the walk on the ground was a table sitting the three judges. The rest of the building was hung with fashion police posters and posters of fashion victims. Some of the outfits made Cat want to cringe. Also there were strobe lights around the stage going every which way.

As she began walking a familiar voice filled the building. “What an atrocious outfit.” Spoke Simon in his extremely critical tone. “Who in there right mind would wear such a thing? This is a fashion show, isn’t it?”

“Yo Dawg this is the fashion police part of the Fashion Show,” Spoke Randy. “She is supposed to look unfashionable.”

“That’s right Randy,” spoke the kind voice of Paula. “Now, Simon could you please describe the outfit for the audience.”

“Alright,” agreed Simon. “This horrible outfit by Star Battle…who comes up with these designer brands. I mean seriously Star Battle that is such a rip-off of Star Wars” Paula sent him a glare for him to get back on topic. “Ok this outfit consists of a sheer dress that resembles that of that princess from Star Wars, movies 4-6. Also it has pink, small hole fishnets that don’t even remotely match and golden mary-jane shoes.”

Paula smiled because he finally finished and then Randy spoke, “This outfit is available for the price of $60. The dress for $40, ‘nets for $10, and shoes for $10.” He then turned to Simon. “Dawg why does this crud cost so much.”

“I don’t even know why anyone would buy any of this in the first place,” Simon spoke.

“I would, I think it is cute.” Spoke Paula cheery.

Simon gave her a look, “Of course you would.”

Cat then walked backstage allowing the next person to go.

Marigold was wearing an outfit that was a replica of a Jessica Simpson outfit. She wasn’t sure to be happy wearing something that looked like celebrities attire or disgusted at how horrible it looked. Her hair was all curled, which was different from her normal straight hair and looked strange on her. Today she was her first walk down a catwalk and of all ones to be her first was pretty much fashion gone wrong. And what made her real nervous was that the American Idol judges were the commenters.

Nervously she walked out on the catwalk. The judges weren’t utterly disgusted. But of course the model before her had much worse attire. She took a deep breath and began walking, her shoes making a tapping noise against the floor.

“Ghastly,” Simon spoke, “Remind me why we are here to see such horrifyingly ugly outfits.”

“We are advertising our show,” Paula said, “And we are getting paid.”

Randy was shaking his head at Marigold’s outfit, “Yo dawg, it is ok to repeat some celebrity outfits, but not when it is a fashion don’t. Your killing me man. Onto the description or whatever, this is a remake of a Jessica Simpson mistake. The straps you see are connected all the way down to the shorts and well that bad thing is $40, and the ruffly white top is $35. The only decent thing about this is the heels which are $10.”Marigold smiled and walked back backstage so the next model, Sadie, could go up.




Sadie finished applying her dark eye shadow around her eyes. Her outfit was a killer. It probley would have been a nice outfit if the dress was a different material and a few other items were missing. She saw Marigold get back. Saddie smiled and spoke to herself, “Time to kill.”

She stepped confidently out on the catwalk. She accidentally let a laugh escape her throat as the audience and American idol judges gasped in horror. Saddie knew the outfit was pretty bad but had no idea it would get such a reaction. She started walking and the song “Ugly” came on. Saddie didn’t know who sang it but she did know the song, which is probley why she began singing it in her head.

“Your Ugly and I bet your mom is too.”

“What is that?” Paula asked gaping at the horrific outfit.

“Hey man what’s with that do?” Randy asked pretty much mimicking the song.

“Your ugly,” spoke Simon continuing the mimicking. “Do we really have to describe this?” Paula elbowed him. “Alright, this ghastly outfit, from Dead Dolls Fashion, includes a black vinyl dress with white collar for $70, fishnet stockings for $10, fishnet arm warmers for $15, socks for $5, and heels for $25. Now please do us all a favor and rid us of the sight of that outfit.”

Being the brat she was, Saddie pulled out her wand she had placed in a pocket of the dress and pointed it at Simon. “Fasheta Victa” She spoke and blue jet of light shot out towards Simon. Simon’s clothes then changed from what they were to what Saddie was wearing. Saddie smirked and walked away.

Randy looked like he was about to say something, but Simon stopped him, “Don’t even think about it.”





Saddie walked in and Natasha could here the roaring laughter outside. She tried bolting back to the dressing stall, but the other slytherins held her back.

“You’re going out there Natasha,” Cat ordered.

“Never!!” Natasha screamed. But regardless of her not wanting to go out, the other girls pushed her out onto the catwalk. Natasha caught herself from falling flat on her face and looked out to the audience and judges. It was complete silence. She began walking. As she walked it stayed quiet, not even the commenters talked.

Cat got fed up with the silence and went out the door on the right of the stage, leading to the ground audience and walked over to the judges. Cat squeezed between Simon and Paula and leaned into the microphone after giving the judges an annoyed glare. “Now up we have Natasha showing off the biggest fashion don’t of the season. By Crazy Fashion, this outfit includes an overly puffy rainbow dress for $55, a pair of red tights for $20, and funky gold mary-janes for $30. Someone please call the fashion police on this dress.”

Sirens went of in the building. Marigold and Saddie walked out from backstage in styling police uniforms and handcuffed Natasha. The audience roared with laughter as Natasha was taken away.

Cat then noticed Simon still in the outfit Saddie put on him, “Reverso Fashna”. A orange jet of light shot from Cat’s wand and returned Simon to normal. Simon thanked her and Cat smiled, “Never get a Slytherin mad Simon. It is bad luck.’
