Scholastic's DH Campaign

Scholastic have started their ad campaign for DH with lots of stuff on their website, and even a youtube channel, where every 20 days until the release they'll add a new video which asks a question about the book.

What does everyone think about this new form of advertising? Millions of people use youtube, so I guess it's just another avenue where they can promote the book.

Funny thing is, I don't think the people commenting realise it's an official scholastic thing. One comment was "pretty boring video you've got there", and to be fair, it was true - it was 26 seconds of showing the US book cover.

It's interesting on the poll the list of names that they have up for who will live/die.

There's Harry, Voldemort, Snape, Ginny, Ron, Hermione, Neville, Hagrid, Draco and Other.

Anywhoo, we got in first with the countdown questions thing! We've been doing it since day 169, scholastic since day 94. We rule! (ahem.)

uhmm XD ... they could indeed have made the video more exciting.. but we'll forgive them... XD ... but it's a good idea to make a video... even better as it doesn't cost them a penny XD ... and anyway, they did a new one except the one showing the cover 26 seconds (that was a picture, not a video, if you ask me XD)... not that that were a wooooooonderful video.. but whatever... they have another 94 days to get better ideas, I wish them good luck XD

ah the poll was cool... I was surprised that only 25% of the people voted for "Voldemort dies" ... *thinks* well, maybe we'll get to see an 80 years old Voldie looking after his begonias... mwahahahaa!

About shipping, which we have also asked about in the countdown forum.

It's surprised a lot of people that H/Hr has made it into the poll, as JKR has made it clear that the canon ships are R/Hr and H/G, but on another forum, Melindaleo wisely stated this:

The new question is up, and it asks "Where are the Horcruxes?" Interesting, as we're usually asking "What are they?"

There's quite a few places listed...does this mean there is a horcrux at one of these locations or more?

Oddly, we're not given multiple choice answers as to what they are, but more of a 'when we'll find out'.
