The Last Sentence Challenge

We've all heard from various sources that the last word of the seventh book will be scar. But what will the last sentence be? This is your challenge - to create a last sentence for the last book.

The Challenge:
-It has to be a sentence. It's up to you what you interpret that as, but no paragraphs!
-The last word has to be scar.
-Be as creative as possible...make yours stand out.

My entry:

It was finally over, ending the same way it started, with a scar.

Bleh XD Not good but whatever XD

Here's mine! Hopefully, it won't make you faint with its horribility... though I doubt that's a word:

Green eyes stared back at him from the mirror and Harry's mouth opened in shock when it seemed that what his friends had told him was true: there was no scar.

There's my attempt...

Ok, mine will totally suck!

Hermione was wrong, that flying hippo did give him a scar.

LOL! It said make them stand out

Realizing that it was all over Harry instinctivly reached up and rubbed his scar.

Now, after all those years had passed, the bad memories fading as the happy ones grew, the only reminder of Voldemort's reign of terror was the ever-fading presence of Harry's scar.

I think the book is going to end with the beginning of the story. It's years later and there will be a mother or father reading a bedtime story to their children, telling them about Harry and what he did to save the wizarding world...so here is my last sentance....

"Once upon a time, there lived a boy named Harry Potter, a boy with a very special lightening shaped scar."

"It was the begining of a new era - an era that didn't stay under the threatening sign of the scar."

As Harry walked towards the school to take up his position as Headmaster of Hogwarts, he turned to look at them with a sadistic smirk, flashing red eyes and the red, burning shape of his scar.

It was now all over, the only thing that reminded the magical community of voldemort was on Harry's forehead- the scar.



Or something like that lol

"The gold being made off this is unbelievable...as a matter of fact, just yesterday I saw this sign in a shop window in Diagon Alley: 'You can look just like our hero...only ten sickles for a lightning bolt-shaped scar!'"

Even though the great hero of the wizarding world was now dead, the world would forever remember Harry Potter and the thing that started his eventful life, his scar.

It was the end, Harry was dead, but the memory of him was in Ginny, fore she had the scar.

All through his life Harry Potter suffered trials and tribulations, and it was all down to that scar.

Voldemort had marked Harry as the only one able to defeat him, and fulfilled the profecy himself, by giving Harry that scar.

Here is my sentence, featuring the wonderful Voldemort (as is typical of me):

Lord Voldemort smiled to himself, knowing full well that he would never again have problems out of such a pestulent child, the boy with the scar.

The last seconds of daylight were fading away as Harry walked away from his magical past, with the only evidence of his time at hogwarts shining bright on his forehead, the lightning scar.

Ginny smiled down at her husband as he lay on their bad, his wheezing gasps coming short and fast, and she knew that he would always be remembered for his heroic deeds, and his scar.

It started and ended the same, with a boy who had a lightning shaped scar.

The one thing that was left to remind of all that was gone was Harry Potter's scar



... so lame but oh well..

When he looked up into the silent room full of mirrors, he realized it for the first and the last time: They had disappered, all of them, every ghost of the past, and gone with them was his identitiy, the scar.

The wizarding world was once again at peace, everything seemingly returning to normal. Harry knew however things weren't as everyone felt, as he sat alone recuperating from the final battle. Hand held over his forehead, feeling that familar burn of his scar.

(Okay Harrys older now just walking down the street)

"Oi Potter"
"What" Harry said spinning around groaning he saw that an older looking Malfoy was staring back at him still surrounded by his old cronies crabbe and goyle.
"Don't think your so special now do you Potter not so reconisable now are you?2
"What are you on about?" Harry asked exasperated.
Somewhere behind Pansy Parkinson let out a loud scream of laughter.
"Hey Potter wheres your scar?"


So yeh more of a paragraph but theres mine

The mark that caused it all and what finished it all was the scar.

Rowling said the last word isn't 'scar' anymore..it was before though...

Harry lay on the floor, tired but happy it was all over, his best friends next to him and that unique scar in his forehead.

The thought of Harry's past flooded through him, as he looked at Voldermorts slit eyes, pain burned in his forehead, neither can live while the other survives and it all started with the scar.

harry walked away quietly leaving the others to celebrate, walking to the bathroom he had to see it! it didnt hurt! he looked at his face in the mirror blood stained and white harry gasped "no scar!"

Never again, would something hinder him so painfully such as a simple scar.
