personally, I think it's a great idea! - it could go with the Mastermind or the University tournaments in the suggestions thread! :D .... but one argument that I see against that is -just like Aliza said - that if it's a tournament, as many people as possible should be allowed to participate, and it's pretty difficult to find chat times to suit all of those who'd like to... :/

although ... maybe we could have it as a second event tournament?

We did a few chatroom quizzes last year, and they worked quite well - people were generally able to get online at the same time for them.

A tournament might be difficult to work out because of the logistics concerned though.

Perhaps once we've decided on the format, we could post up a poll asking the most suitable time to hold it.

i voted for the main chat room cuz sometimes cB takes too much time to postwhat we're saying or it eats sentences

main chat's a lot quicker

i just can't get into the main chatroom, and i think most of the members on the site can all gain access to the chatbox, whereas the chat room holds small problems for some users.

I think a tourny would be good, and i think Cristina's idea of a Mastermind kind of thing would be brilliant, you could have three catorgies, one being HP, the other being General knowledge and the third being the person's "specialist subject" people coule pm you in advance with their chose subjects. And i think to make it easier it could be one member from each house, battling it out, you know so there wasnt loads of people answering all at once, and then you could have a final ... im just going to go siit in the corner now because ive forgotten what i was saying.

I voted for cb as well. My computer wont let me get in the chat room.

I'd prefer a general quiz, just cause it's changing things up a bit Making things interesting.

i'm not fussed i'll answer anything hehehe.

and i have tried main chat since it was changed, it let me in for about 3 secs and then crashed.
