Every so often, a specified debate will take place which will pit two representatives from each house against each other to debate their hearts out on a specific subject. These debates will be both opinion based and researched based and housepoints will be awarded to each representative according to the depth and knowledge of their debating issues.

Each debate will last for an unspecified amount of days to give house representatives time to research their points and argue their side. The debates will cover both wizarding and muggle issues!

Watch out for these debate events and sign up. It is on a first come first served bases and will involve two members from each house within each debate.

There are fifty housepoints maximum available for each debater who participates, and the number of housepoints you receive will depend on how well you structured your argument, the depth of your arguments and how well you reacted to opposing member's arguments.
