Your Last Shopping Buy

I got a winter coat and boots lol I badly needed some

I brought a new coat for the winter as my old one looked all tatty
I also brought a chocolate bar

On Monday I bought a t-shirt, a jumper, a purse, a bag, a book and the Heroes DVD box set. Twas an expensive day :D

oooooo and i got some ugg boots

2 really pretty (brand new) skirts for $10 each. Mwahahahaha.

Well...my last shopping buy was christmas presents so I cant list them otherwise people might see them

But other than christmas presents, I brought;

A little pink top for Aimee which said 'Im the cutest'
Another top which said 'Daddy's little princess'
Nappies (lol I buy a lot of those now :D)
Christmas cake (I was going to make one but have no time now)

A really nice blue and brown vase for our living room, and two cute coffee mugs, as we are trying to be coffee drinkers instead of soda drinkers.

I also bought an extra gift for Ame, but since she might see this I can't post it.

My last trip was for Christmas. I got the Pirates of the Caribbean dice game, a pair of Santa earrings (for me), and 2 candles.

my last shopping trip was for a birthday where i got her a stuffed polar bear and a map of the world (both inside jokes)!

I bought Linda Eder's Christmas Stays the Same with a gift card I got from my coworker, Josh.

In order to bulk up for the Book Reading Challenge, I went to Borders and bought lots of books:

You Suck: A Love Story by Christopher Moore (it's a vampire book)

13 Little Blue Envelopes by Muareen Johnson- this girls aunt sends her enevelopes with instruction like fly to London, get a flat there, find a starving artist... etc. It looks really cute.

Fly By Night by Frances Hardinge- "Imagine a world in which all books have been banned!" An young orphan girl lives locked away by her uncle, but she is one of the few girls that can read, which is both a gift and a curse. And she has a pet goose. I read the little prologue and so far its good, its like an alternate world. (I read all the books first few pages, because even when a book looks awesome it doesn't mean it's well written and I own far too many books that ended up being awful despite a promising premise)

A Wrinkle In Time by Madeline L'Engle. Surprisingly I only sort of read this book in the sixth grade. By then I was reading Stephen King and was a bit snobby towards what I considered as "childrens books". Of course I am over that phase because now I always shop the Young Adult section, no longer concerned that I am too old to read books that might not be as challenging as Jane Austen or Victor Hugo.

The Ice Queen by Alice Hoffman- okay I didn't read any of this, because I lover her books! She wrote Practical Magic, which is a perfect book and movie.

Darkly Dreaming Dexter by Jeff Lindsey. This is the first of the books that started the Showtime original series. I loved the first two seasons, I think the books are supposed to be a bit darker, but I can handle it. Darkness is good!

I also picked up a Book Journal, I'm eventually going to list all the books I own, borrowed, and read at the book store (during more frugal times or just when I want to chill I go to the bookstore and read an entire book. I love doing that, I used to feel guilty, but I spend more than the average person on books, so I've learned to get over the guilt pretty fast. XD

You know what the weird thing is, though? When I went shopping last week, in search of new sneakers, I somehow didn't find anything suitable and just got annoyed, not finding anything in a couple of hours... And today, I found them more or less by accident, I was with my mother in the shopping mall just for a short time and my mum had left her glasses to be repaired, so we just went into one or two shops in the meantime ... and surprise, surprise... there they were :D

.. plus, I got a discount of 50zl (about 13 euros) from the shop where I bought them for the next time I go there xD

I brought a happy meal from Mickey D's

I went shopping yesterday and bought some pyjamas (two pairs, they were on buy one get one free at La Senza!). I also bought some shampoo and No7 Cleanser and Toner. Now I am poor :D

I got a t-shirt and a blouse today, yeeey! And some make-up remover xD

Oh, and I also got the Bon Jovi CD "Lost Highway" last week or so. :D

And another t-shirt yesterday (plain black,to print our class' graduation logo on it) and "The Picture of Dorian Gray" by Oscar Wilde

I went shopping again today and bought:

- "Flowers for Algernon" by Daniel Keyes - okay, this isn't for me, it's for my Polish teacher whom I've talked about how great the book is and I've wanted her to read it, too, and since my copy of it is in Romanian, I got it on English for her (lol she said she wanted to practise her English XD)
- "Dragons of Autumn Twilight" from the Drangonlance series - this and the above actually came by order and I just went to pick them up from the shop and pay xD - oh and Rai recommended me this, so I'm curious
- "Wyrd Sisters" by Terry Pratchett ... I think I have a new addiction XD
- "All American Girl" by Meg Cabot, heard it's a nice one and ... couldn't resist XD

oh, and went to do my third ear-hole :D - if you can count this as something I've bought xD

and then of course, I've had to buy my lunch, since I didn't have time to come home for lunch

.. ah! Almost forgot that I got a new pencil and some leads for it lol. And Newsweek magazine.
