| Okay so not only have i stared in the play Much ado about nothing as Beatrice. I have also been to the theatre to watch the same play performed. The play that i started in was old fashoned like a proper Shakespearian play but the one i went to see was more modern and only had five stars in whereas mine had 30. Soooooo have any of you ever stared in a Shakespeare play or watched one? | |

| I have yet to be in a shakespeare play, and I'm not sure I'll ever get the chance. My dream role is Beatrice, of course. However, I did go with my mother's Shakespeare class to see A Midsummer Night's Dream and loved it. I have also seen a few plays that were turned into films. | |

| We read Twelfth Night and Romeo & Juliet in English class... I thought they were really good haha so it would be awesome to see those plays onstage. Especially R&J, our class loved it. It was like a soap opera hahaha. We watched bits and pieces of those two movies in class, too. Twelfth Night had two of the Harry Potter actors in it! Bellatrix and Umbridge... I forget their real names... hehe But yeah, I think Shakespeare's great | |

| Were going to do Romeo and Juilet in my class as a play on stage again but I don't really fancy being Juliet. I think I might go for the Nurse in my opinion she has more character and it seems a lot more fun acting as the nurse. Juliet just gets on my nerves.
And the play has had a different reaction on my class. We hate it we tried revolting against it to do a midsummer nights dream. It awful.

| I love his play writes, however a little knowledge for you all... Shakespear, has no records of every going to school. He didnt know how to write, nor did he have the money to pay someone to write for him as he talked the plays out. Shakespear was born in 1564, which means his first play would have been wrote at age 17. He has never traveled, yet his plays have information about places only experience could teach you. There was a man called Edward De Vere. He was an Earl, and in those times it was forbidden for an earl to conduct plays, or write poetry. However, it is a theory that Edward De Vire, had been the true play write, and had sent the scripts to William Shakspear, signed Anonymous. He was known to be an author of many pieces, and got in so much trouble, for it. His wife almost left him, and he was almost removed as Earl.
After Edward De Vere died in 1604, Shakespear had never produced another play "ironically." After Edwards death, plays, poems, and many writings were found in Edwards home. All Shakespears pieces had been lost, when the Globe Theatre was set on fire for the second time.
Ive researched this for awhile now. There is also a FANTASTIC movie based on this all. Its a bit confusing, maybe hard to follow because it bounces back and fourth with present past and future, but the story line is fantastic! The movie is called Anonymous, and it interprets the theory spot on.
When I found out about Edward De Vere, I was crushed! I'm a Theatre nerd myself, and finding out one of my idols was most likely an impostor, ruined my life! (Over exasperation)
