Any one have any ideas of what the next book could be called. Ive seen a few funny ones around the site but i cant find them lol

Harry Potter and the final showdown
Harry potter and the quest for closure

hmm...what about:

Harry Potter and the OBHWF

I have seen this theory that there's a pattern in the book titles, in that it goes: a thing, a place a person.

PS - A thing
CoS - A place
PoA - A person
GoF - A thing
OotP - A place (this one seems sort of odd - it's possible it could be stretched to being a place.
HBP - A person

So does this mean the next book will be Harry Potter and 'A thing'?

Harry Potter and the Marriage to Ginny
Harry Potter and the Return of the Dogfather

Of course, all of these would actually qualify as an idea for a title for book seven, but it was fun thinking of them! :lol:

I honestly wouldn't have the slightest idea what book seven will be called. There's the predictable ones of course, 'the prophecy fulfilled' and the such, but I doubt it'll be any of them.

the pattern of the book titles is interesting. If we take it that it will be a thing then it could be as simple as Harry Potter and the hidden horcrux?

Yeah, I think the simple choice will be the right one, since JKR has probably seen so many wierd and wonderful ideas for titles already that she's getting a bit overwhelmed - probably from all the laughing - that she'll just call it "Harry Potter and the Seventh Installment". That's what I would do. Actually, I would be more likely to call it "Harry Potter's Hideously Premature Death in the First Chapter and Draco Malfoy's Reprise Throughout the Rest of the Book", but that's just me.
