| Well I did in a hurry so it's not my best, hopefully you'll like it Another night in Godric's Hollow, where the Potters were hiding, to protect baby Harry, from one horrible wizard. Wormtail's betrayal uncovered their secret, soon Voldemort was on his way, A baby boy he had to murder, it was a prophecy he had to destroy. He found his destination, darkness fell and the stars were out of sight, he made his way, and first murdered James. Pleased he aimed for Harry, but there was something n his way, a mother's unconditional love was it's name, sadly beatiful Lily was murdered too. Voldemort was destroyed, and baby Harry forever marked, his mother had saved him, but still, he had a scar. From that day on, war started in the wizard world, and 17 years later, the final battle has begun. It took Harry long to get there, so many events happening, and some dreadful losses, along the difficult way. He finally made it, he brought peace again, Voldemort was dead, the horrible war has come to an end. | |

| Be forewarned this is the most random thing I've ever written lol. The title is a work in progress
Voldermort the lard
There once was an evil lord, Who was unfortunately very bored. He would try rather hard But sadly for us he would become a bard.
On one cold night, This lord seemed to bite. The end result being a scar To leave it's mark like a bar.
Eleven years later he returned And came back to renew the burn. Harry Potter though stood firm And the evil lord just couldn't turn.
Each year that passed He would try but failed at last. The one with the mark Had fought and finally won the bark!
How did this dark lord fail? Well he just had to wail. For he forgot one important thing, That good people can always sing.
Their hearts are full of love And they rise high above. Where evil cannot reach And Voldemort could never breach.
Seven horcruxes had been found And each one had been bound. There was no returning for this lord, Once the boy had soared.
First his friends would gather near And attack him high and clear. It seemed they would not win But then the tides turned with a spin.
Strength in numbers they had had And the dark lord dropped just a tad. In the end only one would stand And unfortunately it wasn't the band.
Voldemort cried out, The world was safe from the lout. Harry Potter and his friends Would live without bends.
And this story came to an end.

| The Rise and Fall of a Dark Lord
It started with a one way love Of a sad and lonely pure blood witch On Tom Riddle did she potions ply Soon his affections to her did switch
Married to a muggle and now with child, The witch Merope cast her fate, Believing in her heart of hearts That Tom would choose to stay her mate.
But she was left heartbroken, For her husband was quick to flee She took her last tortured breath As Tom Marvolo Riddle came to be.
Raised in an English orphanage Young Tom became someone to fear Strange powers did he seem to possess His destiny drawing ever near
Dumbledore came to find him, Weary of the dark haired lad, He hoped that in the halls of Hogwarts Riddle would turn out not to be so bad.
In the Slytherin towers he found his home, Among other wizards he could command He tracked down his muggle relatives And soon they died by his hand.
Learning of horcruxes, he made a plan Riddle, now Voldemort, would never die Splitting his soul he would gaurantee That he would never really say goodbye
Years later he turned up at Hogwarts Where he claimed he longed to teach But Dumbledore stared Tom in the eye And did not believe his pious speech
What Voldemort did next is greatly unknown But he gathered many faithful servants His zealous followers, the Deatheaters Were soon to be linked to dark events
Wanting to sieze power and control, Voldemort emerged from rumor and shadow Unleashing his tremendous magic, He killed those that simply refused to bow.
The Order of the Phoenix faught against him A brave few standing in his way When Voldemort heard the prophecy From Harry's destruction he did not sway.
But that night did not turn out as planned For there's deep magic which he could not contend Harry Potter, protected by love, did survive And all celebrated Voldemorts assumed end.
Alive, but not living, More thing than man. Having split his soul, he realized his plan.
Voldemort waited, suffered and schemed, At last Quirrel blundered into his path Two became one, and the dark lord was back Intent on renewing his demented blood bath.
Once again Voldemort underestimated And soon found Harry the victor once more How could an eleven year old boy Reduce the dark lord down to his core?
Over the years the two engaged in battles Always Harry was able to emerge alive But despite not having the prophecy Voldemort suspected Harry must not survive.
The war began and lives were lost The trio secretly went on their quest Behind Voldemorts own back Harry destroyed every horcrux without rest.
Voldemort continued his extermination Of all those not worthy of his mention Killing without mercy all who Harry loved The loss of his horcruxes passed his attention
When the final showdown began Not knowing he could die, Voldemort paused before killing Harry, Wanting to see the Boy Who Lived cry.
But in that precious moment Harry saw his chance, at last, to win He defeated the pompous wizard And chucked his wand in the rubbish bin.
With the dark lords demise came a change Harry and his friends had a chance to celebrate Harry and Ginny, Ron and Hermione were married, And Neville finally asked Luna out on a date.
Although Voldemort killed too many to count, He could not kill one young man The love of a parent, a friend or a lover, Can overcome the darkest plan.
So gather closer to the fire Ignore the cries that come from outside. Voldemort is dead and gone For good cannot evil abide.

| History of a Downfall
A boy was born, one cold rainy night, His poor mother died at his birth. Neglected as a child, he eventually decided That he was different, and had far more worth.
He experimented on animals and hapless things, Trying out the extent of his power. All grew wary of this strange, quiet boy, Who relished pain and all things dour.
As a child, mayhap he could still have been saved, And so Dumbledore came to him with a choice. At first the boy was afraid and untrusting, But then he accepted, with a firm and docile voice.
At Hogwarts he excelled, a brilliant student, He surpassed all with his charm and skills. Loved and admired, he was convincingly innocent And found scapegoats for all of his kills.
For Tom's Dark ways only worsened while at school, With access to the knowledge he had thirsted for. On the outside he was good, but his inside was Dark, Riddle strived to be the most powerful wizard, and more.
He disappeared for a while, creating Horcruxes, And learning more about immortality's price. When he returned to Hogwarts, asking for a position, Dumbledore turned him down in a thrice.
For Dumbledore gave up, realized it was too late, Tom Riddle was irreversibly Dark. When next he was seen, his name had changed, Lord Voldemort was ready to make his mark.
He tried to kill Harry Potter when the boy was a babe, But he failed, the spell rebounded. Ten years it took him to regain some of his power, When he failed to seize the Stone, he was quite astounded.
He tried with the Diary, a Portkey and such, But no matter what he did to kill Harry, Harry Potter had friends in high places and low, And he was always on his guard, often wary.
Thus many years passed with Harry dodging death, And Voldemort unable to die. A prophecy foretold that neither could live if the Other survived, the two were inexplicably tied.
In his seventh year, Harry hunted down The leftover Horcruxes, destroying them one by one. When at last he came face to face with Voldemort, They fought a bitter fight, but! They were not done.
Voldemort screamed in frustration and anger And felt not a pang of guilt. He shot curses at Harry, but Harry fought back Vowing that Voldemort would be killed.
A spell rebounded, and this time it did not miss, Voldemort was invincible no more. To kill him the spell took no longer than most, And he died in the Great Hall, amid the ruins and gore.
Harry stood over him, but could not enjoy the victory, So many of his loved ones had perished. He ran into his friends' arms, and decided never again To use the Killing Spell Voldemort had so relished.

| One fine sunny day on a grassy hill, There was a redhead, his name was Bill. He saw in the distance an ancient old school, Tucked his hair behind his ears, epitome of cool.
He set off towards that ancient old castle, Hoping the day would be free from hassle. He jauntily walked towards its stone walls, But there he stopped, his spirits in fall.
For there in the grounds, 'neath highest tower, A battle was raging, bloodier by the hour. He saw by the ramparts, that young lad Harry, Holding a wand and a sword to parry.
He fought an old man, bald and like snake, Why, that old man, was as thin as a rake! Bill advanced on the scene, intent to help, But then, oh my, he let out a yelp!
He'd seen his young brother, the one named Fred, And my oh my, he looked to be dead. Bill fell to the ground, his head in his hands, And howled to the sky, to the hallowed lands.
His Father he came, and he wept alongside, But Bill thought to fight, to fight while he cried. He killed a man, an Eater of Death, Plunged his wand to the ground as he took his last breath.
And still, Lord Voldemort fought with young Harry, Watched by a girl the hero would be destined to marry. Bill watched in wonder, in dread and in awe, As the boy who lived, he lived no more.
But then came a crack, a whoosh and a bang, And the sound of a phoenix sang and sang. The white tomb cracked and flew forth the bird, The sound it made, the most beautiful heard.
The golden phoenix flew from its tomb, It's wings unfurling as though from the womb. It flew towards Harry, lying so still, And cried its tears, against Voldemort's will.
For the snake-like man knew what was done, And he looked scared, and started to run. When Fawkes had cried a river of tears, Harry leapt up, to the sound of three cheers.
And he raced after Voldemort, with wings on his feet, He jumped over the fallen, those slain in defeat. He finally caught up with the evil dark lord, And flicked his wand, his face rather bored.
Voldemort fell, fell dead to the ground, And Harry looked shocked as he gazed all around. The girl with red hair, she ran, eyes blazing, As others collapsed, their minds and hearts praising.
Into his arms, the girl she did leap, And Harry smiled, and his eyes did not weep. They kissed and hugged and kissed again, Then heavens opened and it started to rain.
Laughter mingled with blood and with tears, It was all over, nothing left to fear. The castle it watched as its students they sighed, And its stone walls settled, its doors opened wide.

| this took me forever..... and it's still not one of my best *sigh* ----------------------------------------------------
The Downfall of the Dark Lord
In his bleak world Of black and white There was no grey Choose dark or light.
Yet how could sun Shine through the fog When stifling gloom Was childhood lost?
A youthful boy In shadows lurked No tears he shed Love choked in murk.
With smooth black hair And pale white skin Tom Marvolo Riddle Was steeped in sin.
Aged eleven And off to school Beware Hogwarts: To be played a fool.
Throughout his years In Slytherin Tom gathered ‘friends’, Awed pureblood kin.
Discarding names Of muggle sort, Soon magic feared Lord Voldemort.
Tom’s graduation: Been there, done that Frightful muggle raids Dread grew, time passed
Followers joined To fight for their cause Purebloods would rule, Attacks without pause. Then out of the gloom Caused by the fright Defenders appeared, Beacons of light.
And at their head Was Dumbledore Dark serpent’s hiss ‘gainst lion’s roar.
A balance reached, Though tipped aside Would cause chaotic Incoming tides.
Then came one night When love changed all He disappeared The Dark did fall. A one-year-old boy Sacrificed for: Harry’d go down In magical lore.
As the years passed Totaling sixteen Riddle was beat By friends in their teens.
Again and again They incurred his wrath Conquering obstacles Lain in their path.
Led by the one With emerald eyes, Destined to take the Dark Lord by surprise, Harry James Potter ‘The Chosen One’ Looked, found, destroyed The Horcruxes… Done! The sun now sets On the epic battle Of Harry Potter And Tom Riddle,
One standing triumphant One fallen, defeated The Elder Wand chose Who emerged depleted.
In history… Now and forever, The Boy-Who-Lived Will be remembered.
Thus ends the ballad Of black and white Of neverending Dark and light.
