Garden State

Wow, I've been meaning to watch this for ages and I'm so glad I finally did. I LOVED it. I thought the scenes were so original yet so day-to-day, I could totally imagine them being true. Actually Zach Braff who wrote, directed and was the main actor in it says that a lot of them ARE based off people or places he knows, or stories people told him lol. And it was so funny!

When I first watched it, it was all weird and stuff :D But then i watched it again and followed it, without any distractions and stuff, and it seemed to 'make sense'. I think it was... random. Random but soooooo good! Natalie Portman was awesome in it. Her crying scenes were just... adorable :D

It was an odd movie, but not too bad.

I loved that movie, I think it was great! Well not overall surprising coming from Zach Braff ^^ but I think it was very refreshing after all the Hollywood movies made on the same pattern. I loved the talk in the bathtub, it was so sweet and sad, my favorite part of the movie lol. That and the end when he's going for the plane. And Nathalie Portman was great too, she's a very good actress in any type of movie she plays (even in *shudders* the new Star Wars... *clings to the old ones for dear life*)

And the necklace which Mark gets for Andrew that belonged to his mother was actually made according to a necklace Zach's mother used to own lol.
