All Aboard the Hogwart's Express

Waving at her parents, Ingrid ran at the pillar of Platform Nine and Three Quarters and entered the platform

checking her new muggle watch, she saw tha she was an hour early, frowning at it, she dimly remembered something called "Day-Light Saving" But as long as she was here, she wanted to walk around to introduce herself to the kids already there

Shadow nodded.
"But that doesn't stop the guilt."

"Not the way I do. Let's just say I'm different."

Shadow curled up.
"Easy for you to say, you're human." She whispered to herself.

Zelda looked at the two conversing and watched silently.

Shadow sighed, cursing herself.
"Because I'm not."

"This is... complicated. I'm half human, if you can even call it that."

Zelda watched Shadow.

Shadow sensed Zelda watching her and was afraid.

Shadow nodded her head and turned to gaze out of the window.

Zelda wasn't about to get into this.. She simple started reading her manual again.

Shadow was glad that Zelda had decided not to get involved.

Shadow gazed out of the window, waiting for Oddie to think about what she had said.

"It's complicated, as my other side is demonic." Shadow closed her eyes, praying that Oddie's reaction wouldn't be the one she was s accustomed to getting.

Hunter heard all of this as he walked down the aisle of the train and couldnt believe it.*shivers*

Shadow heard some one else outside in the corridor. Getting up, she looked outside, hoping to see who it was.

"I had to learn to control that side of me since it first manifested itself." Shadow turned her violet gaze to Oddie.

Zelda looked at Shadow.. She than looked outside and a tear rolled down her face.. She didn't say anything to Shadow though.

Shadow looked at Zelda, noticing the tear on her face. Putting her head on one side, she decided to ask why.
"Zelda, what's wrong?"

Hunter stoped at suprise after heard heard that shadow was half demon....thinking to himself he thought "i never have heard of a half demon wizard."

Shadow heard the thought and kicked herself mentally. She hated it when she accidentally saw into other people's minds.

" I know of a person that has to deal with being a hafe breed and I know how they feel.. I fell sorry for you Shadow." Zelda said.

Hunter still stood there listening
and is thinking about talking to them.

"Thanks." Muttered Shadow.

Hunter decides to walk up to Shadow if she wants to be friendsAnd holds his out to shake and says,"Hi my name is Hunter and i was wandering about ur parents because i have u say that u have a demonic side?

Shadow sighed silently. This is not the situation I wanted to be in! She thought to herself.
"Yes, I have a demonic side."

"It doesnt seem like you have a demonic side....you seem so nice".Hunter said in a responsive tone.

"I practice hiding it." Shadow replied.

So...can you control it?Hunter asked.

"Most of the time..."

Sorry but i have to ask.....does it take over you ?.....also what makes you temperate?"Hunter asked.

"It takes over occasionally, yes."

(er... Temperate?)

Hunter stepped back a step in the idea of her demonic side taking over but was relived when he thought of being friends with her.


(Temperate means what makes you anger?)

(I learnt that 'temperate' was a climate zone... oh well.)
Shadow noticed Hunter step back, but wasn't too worried.
"Hunter, you'll know when my other side takes over."

So is there something to make me notice when its about to?Hunter asked.

"Yes, let's see, normally, I'll have four red eyes and there will be magic flying everywhere." Said Shadow sarcastically.

Hunter already knowing what the answer was asked."Was that sarcasm or what?

Shadow raised an eyebrow at Hunter, refraining from thinking up humiliating things to do to him.

Hunter said embarrassed."I am very easy to trick and I hate when people take it for grated.

Shadow bowed her head.
"Ok, I will try to refrain from tricking you then."

"Thank you" said Hunter feeling relived that she didnt laugh.

"You don't make fun of me, I don't trick you. Deal?" Asked Shadow.
