Hogwarts Graduates- The Final Day of Hogwarts

"......Zeth Zymbler," Professor McGonagal called, and Zeth accepted his award, "Well, thats everyone. Goodbye and good luck students, you have a few hours before the Hogwarts Express arrives....make the most of it."
Graduation day. Holly would never have thought seven years ago that on this day she would be happily accepting her scroll for McGonagal along with everyone else. She assumed she would be expelled before then.
"Last day Georgie," Holly stroked her monkey, "Y'gonna miss it here?"
"Yes," George said sadly, "Very much. Mostly the people though....where are we going to go now?"
Holly sighed.
"I dunno," she said uncomfortably.
The seventeen year old skimmed a flat rock into the black lake, wondering.

Emmalynn clapped for her younger friends. She was sitting at the head table with the other teachers. When she had graduated a few years ago, she applied for the vacant Potions Professor post.

Searching the crowd of grads, she spotted Holly. She got up and walked over to her friend and student. "Hey, Holly," she greeted.

Violet smiled. "Holly! You made it." She siad, hugging the girl. "I miss this place. I wish I had graduted." Violet said, looking at the castle. "Stupid Father." She mumbled, smiling at Holly again.

Holly hugged Violet back, quite surprised to see her there. Over her shoulder she nodded at Emmalynn.
"Hey 'Lynn," she said grinning, "Havent seen you in....an age!"

Hayley arrived jabbering quickly to Blueberry. "Guys!" she said, smiling happily, "Graduation Day...." she said, "I'll miss this old place," she said, sadly.

"Same," Holly said nodding in agreement, "I cant believe its been seven years since I first set eyes on it...."

"Hey now you get to be in the big world with me." Violet said, smiling. "Be happy, no more homework."

Holly grinned at her.
"True," she said, "That sounds incredibly appealing......so what have you been up to recently Vi? Any men on the go?"

"No, I've been working at the Order's hideout as a healer. And for my father too. I need to drop one." She mumbled.

Holly nodded.
"Always knew you'd be a healer," she said grinning.

"Its better then working for a bookshop." VIolet said. "I wish I could work for St. Mungos but atlast, I cant. Not with that ugly thing on my arm." She said, smiling. "You going to miss it here?" She asked Holly.

Holly smiled slightly and then nodded.
"More than you can imagine," she she said, glancing up at the tall castle, "Dunno where Im gonna go now..."

"My door is always open." Violet said, looking at the castle. "i missed it here last year." She said/

Holly smiled at her in thanks, but then shook her head.
"Oh yes, what exactly happened to you? There were a load of stories going around.....but you were gone before I got a chance to ask you myself,"

"Er...I'll tell you later." Violet said, making a thoughtful face.

Holly smiled.
"Good idea," she said, and began to cirlce the black lake, motioning for Violet to follow her.

Violet followed, pulling out her wand. "I want to look around for some stuff for potions while I'm out here." She said.

"Aye?" Holly said, "Well there some......Moley Grass I think...."

"Nope." Violet said, looking under a rock. "I found some bugs." She said, pionting her wand at them and trapping them in a bag.

Holly shuddered.
"Gross," she said, "Well what about that. Goats Tea innit?"

Violet smiled. "Yeah." She said.

"Woo," Holly said happily, "Im not a complete failure!"
She grinned and picked the Goats tea up for Violet. After a moment of silence Holly said quietly, "....any word from Shaeman?"

Violet's smile faded and she shook her head. "No, not yet." She said.

Shadow appeard there, smiling, waving to her friends in hello.

"Woah!" Violet said, falling backwards. "Ow," She said, rubbing her head as she sat up. "You could have forwarned me Shadow." Violet said, leaning on her elbows. "Whatcha doing?" She asked, looking up.

Shadow smiled and gestured towards the plants, miming gathering them.

Holly rolled her eyes and held out a hand to help Violet up.
"Hey Shad," she said.

"Oh." Violet said and felt something crawl on her. "Oh my God. Get them off!" She shouted, jumping up to make the bugs fall off her. "Ow, eww, eww." Violet mumbled. "You would think for a healer I wouldnt mind." She siad.

Shadow grinned and waved at Holly.

Violet made sure the bugs were off her before smiling at Shadow. "What have you been up to lately?" She asked.

"Saving the world at all? Oooh but so sweet that you returned for my Graduation. Im as surprised as you that I made it seven years without getting expelled!"

Shadow mimed studying and healing.

"Oh." Violet said, smiling. Violet looked at her watch, biting her lip.

"Awesome!" Holly said, "You want to be like, a healer too?"

Shadow put her head on one side, puzzled before nodding at Holly.

Violet grabbed her wand, making ink and paper appear infront og her. "I need to write a letter to the Order. I cant come to the thing tonnight." She mumbled.

"Need a quill?" Holly asked producing the quill McGonagal had given her as a leaving present, "Fancy huh?"

"Er yeah." Violet said, writing the letter out. Violet tapped it twice, sending it to the Order.

"Bye bye letter," Holly said absently, watching the lake, "So, if you guys dont have to leave right now we could like....hit Hogsmede later on?"

Shadow gave Holly the thumbs up.

"Sure, as long as Firewhiskey aint there." She said, trapping the bugs again.

Holly returned the gesture smiling a little sadly, then she turned to Violet.
"You off drink?" she asked, surprised.

Shadow smiled before putting her head on one side, looking at Holly, puzzled.

"What?" Violet asked, looking puzzled.

"You said you hoped there wasnt firewhiskey.....and I was just wandering if you were off alcohol....?"

"Oh, yeah. I've been trying not to drink or smoke anymore." Violet mumbled, kicking a rock.

"Thats great!" Holly said enthusiastically, "Excellent!"
She frowned.
"Wish I could be as good..."

Shadow smiled again, trying not to laugh.

"I didnt have a choice. Father took them from me." She said.

"Ah. Well thats still good. At least he has your best interests at .... head..."
She had gone to say heart, but she doubted Voldemort had a heart.
