dragonweaver - Creatures Level 1

Dragon looked at the lake and saw that the arrow had pointed a path across the lake. She lifted her wand and put a Bubble-Head Charm over her head, slipped off her shoes which she shrinked and put into her zipped pocket. Then with a small splash she dived into the lake.

Dragon felt slightly nauseous looking at the slug like creatures crawling over her as kneeled on the ground. Trying to ignore the feeling she fractically racked her brain to think what in the world was the blood sucking insects called. Suddenly it hit her, they were leeches, like the ones that doctors use during the medivel times. She lifted her wand and said Repello and all the leeches seem to scurry away in a second. Then with a whisper of Episkey she patched herself up. Glancing up at the arrow direction she quickly stood up and put a Disillusionment Charm on herself. Satisfied with her result she set off in the direction of the arrow

Stopping at the where the two roads diverge, Dragon frowned at the two choices. If she chose to go to the clear path, who knows what is hiding along it ready to spring up on her? So she chose the one with the Jack Russell Terrier, after all, she likes dogs.

Edging towards the animal, she frantically scrolled through her knowledge of dogs. Muttering a list under her breath she finally hit on a Crup. Crups look like a Jack Russell Terrier but have a forked tail and are ferocious to Muggles but friendly to wizards and witches. But how does she tell the dog that she was a witch so it won’t attack her?

The dog was growling and eyeing her warily as she walked towards it. On impulse, she pulled on her wand for protection. But when she did so, the animal suddenly stopped it’s growling and barked happily and ran up to her licking her hand. ‘Of course! Muggles can not have a wand’ she thought happily as she petted the dog.

Giving it a last pat she hurried along the path but found that the Crup was following at her heels. 'Fine you can come along too' she told the dog as she tried to think of a name for it

Dragon approached a clearing in the trees where she could see a small fire in the middle. She glanced up at the sky and noticed that the red arrows pointed straight across. Beckoning the crup who she had named 'Sam' since she didn't know if it was male or female, and started to walked towards the floating arrow. Half way across, she glanced back and noticed that Sam the Crup was sitting on the ground growling. "Come on." she said beckoning Sam, but the crup refused to budge.

She thought to herself, 'Was it another animal? Are we in it's territory? Is it a Muggle?" She frowned in frustration as she retraced her steps back to the crup. Pulling out her wand she tapped the crup and herself and covered both of them in an invisibility charm and a shield with the words of ::αόρατος:: and ::ασπίδα::. She picked up the now silent crup, cradled it in her arms and with a whine from the magical dog, she set off.
