The Elder Wand A future era journal RP

THE STORY:

Four years have passed since the Dark Lord’s demise and the fall of his organization, known as the Death Eaters. All those believed to be involved were either arrested, fled, or there was not enough evidence to convict them. A secret organization was formed, led by one Rodolphus Lestrange in an attempt to try and regroup Voldemort’s followers and build a new regime. One more powerful than ever, called The Resurrection. Their main goal is to try and locate the resurrection stone and attempt to bring back certain dark wizards from the dead. They believe they have found a way, once the dead are brought back to life, to make them exactly how they were before they were killed, making them once again alive and human. They have no plans however, to bring back Lord Voldemort.

Harry Potter and Ronald Weasley have become Aurors. Harry being at the top of the department. Hermione Granger works for the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. Many things have changed in all of their personal lives and in the Wizarding world itself. After Harry defeated the Dark Lord, things were not as smooth going as he would have liked them to have gone. He expected there to be an instant peace over the wizarding community, but it was far from that. Fingers were pointed in every which direction. He was blamed by some people for the battle and deaths that occurred at Hogwarts. Had he not been there, it never would have happened. That was a lot of people’s views on it. The Ministry had always found some way to downplay what Harry had done and accomplished and even though he aided in bringing down the most powerful wizard ever to live, there were still people who thrived on making him the bad guy.

The Ministry of Magic is currently taking many changes. Quite a few people there either resigned or were asked to leave. Kingsley Shacklebolt is the current Minister of Magic and key players in the Ministry are Harry Potter (Head Auror) , Hermione Granger (Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement) , Arthur Weasley (Senior Undersecretary to the Minister of Magic) Bill Weasley (Junior assistant to the Minister of Magic) and Luna Lovegood (Head of the Department of International Magical Cooperation)

As The Resurrection starts to get an upper hand on their search, and when they do find what they seek, they will become more powerful than they were before. Without their Dark Lord, a new leader will take charge, and in turn, will be worse than He Who Must Not Be Named. They will obtain more members than the previous Death Eaters had, thus making them stronger and more of a threat.

On the other side of the spectrum, The order Of The Phoenix will have to regroup and recruit new members. They will start a search of their own, for something, the only thing that will be able to defeat this newly formed group of dark wizards. The Elder Wand.

This is a journal RP community. For those of you who have never RP'ed on a journal before, I am more than happy to teach you once your application has been approved. It's a lot easier than most people think it is.

I am running this SL with fellow HE member Castledown (Jimmy) and there are several members from HE who have joined.
