DETENTION ROOM!

The place that you don't want to go... detention.

Jamie looked up he was soo tired of this detension

Shadow yawned quietly, before raising her head to stare at the ceiling.

Jamie didn't look up he thought he might have fell off his chair if he did

Jamie looked at Eliza "nice try"

Jamie thought it through
"eliza, you should know better by now about the old fart!" he laughed as filch turned around and stared at him

"I know, thats only part of the reason in call him that. Have you smelt him!" he laughed again

"Don't remind me." Shadow said. "First time I morphed into a wolf when he was around, I blacked out."

Jamie laughed histting the table with his hands

"It's not funny!" Shadow said.

Jamie looked at the desk, alot of people had scribbled there names onto it.

Eliza pointed to the 'wizard swears' engraved in the desk and said, "I did that. Just wait until Filch finds out!"

Jamie read them, sort of horrified

Natalie, who had here head down doing her work, which was a hard and tedious punishment essay, looked up, so that the fact her finge was standing on end was visible.

"Umm, this tends to happen when I am under pressure," Natalie explained.

Catheryne, who had been napping in the back of the room, woke with a start and said, "I didn't do it." She realized where she was ina few seconds and began to shuffle her parchments absentmindedly.

Holly laughed when Catheryne spoke, and nodded in her direction. She had never spoken to this particular second year before.
"Alright?" she asked, watching the girl shuffle papers.

"What the..." said Natalie, looking back and grinning at girl who had spoken.

"Fine," Catheryne mumbled as she looked around for where the voice had come from. She spotted Holly and gave a more complete answer, "I was just having a weird dream."

Natalie laughed.

"Was it like...dayshavou...cause I have that all the time," said Natalie to Catheryne, still smiling

Holly grinned, and strolled over to a desk next to the new girl.
"Holly," she introduced, "And you are?"

Natalie follow, only to be stopped by Filch, so she sat back down, frowning.

Catheryne said, "My name is Catheryne Meadows, 2nd year Slytherin, but most of my family was in Hufflepuff. You?"

She then responded to Natalie who was a few seats ahead of her, "Nah, just one of those weird ons that don't make sense."
"Come on Flich, let off" she said.

Natalie sneaked passed filch and up to the desk.

"So, your Catheryna, yes...I'm Natalie...Natalie Patterson." she said

"Yeah Im Holly," Holly replied, "Holly Bristol....second year....Gryffindor....though i dont think houses matter....aaand i have no family left to tell you about unfortunately,"
Holly smiled sadly.
"Nice to meet you,"

"Oh....I'm a second year Gryffindor too By the way," Natalie laughed.

"Nice to meet ya, Natalie. My name is Catheryne. 2nd year Slytherin."
Catheryne wondered how much of this chit chat Flich would take, but he now seemed preoccupied with some sort of box so she figured he wouldn't notice.

"Well it matters when you see the interior decorating of my house...wait, no family you say? How?"

Holly swallowed.
"Death eaters killed my parents when i was eleven....and im an only child.....,"

Catheryne gasped and said uneasily, "I'm so sorry, was it a planned attack?"

"I think so," Holly said nodding, "They came in when I was there. Seemed to have been planned....and I didnt do anything about it I just....I just froze...,"
Holly shook her head.
"Sorry to rant," she said, "Thats all past its....its.....gone.....,"

"No, it is okay. Those Death Eaters are going to pay someday...maybe we should stick to a lighter topic like why were here," Catheryne concluded, but then added, " but if you ever need to talk, don't hestitate to ask."

Holly smiled slightly at her.
"Yes," she said, "They will pay. And we should talk about something different now....,"
Then she looked at her newly made friend.
"And thanks Catheryne.....means a lot...,"

"No problem, so what are you in for pilffering, plundering, what?" Catheryne inquired.
"I was caught jinxing a doorknob to one of the bathrooms, first time I've been caught so far."

Holly laughed.
"Nice," she said appreciatively, "Im in for fifteen missed homeworks, fourteen teacher related comments and an incident involving a cat and some toothpaste...,"

"Ah, toothpaste, trouble seems to revolve around that bugger."

Catheryne glanced at the clock and the hands seemed to be going slower than usual.

"How long do we have to be in here?" asks Will

Holly shrugged.
"We dont know....rest of us have been in for about....three hours,"
She laughed.
"Im Holly, yourself?"

"3 hours! Wow. I'm Will, nice to meet you." Will says with a smile

Shadow watched the newcomer carefully, but Raven wasn't so wary.
"I'm Raven."

"Nice to meet you too," Holly said to Will, "So, what are you in for?"
Then she glanced at Shadow who was looking quite timid.
"You alright?" she murmured so that only Shadow could hear.

Will sees Raven eyeing him but it looks like she decided he was ok "Nice to meet you Raven"

Raven also glanced at her sister, quickly prodding her mind.
"I'd leave her alone right now, you know what she's like around strangers." Raven said softly.

Will turns to Holly, "I'm in here for hexing a Slytherin"

Raven raised an eyebrow but shrugged.

"He was making fun of my friend" Will stated seeing Raven's look
