| (This thread will be in rpg )http://www.buycostumes.com/Search_All_gypsy/Category/0/Product/32104/ProductDetail.aspx ...me...ish. All blue and more shawls :DDraped in a multitude of blue shawls and skirts that hid her slight frame, Elana settled down on a royal blue cushioned stool in front of a table laid with a sparkling navy cloth with a crystal ball upon it. Beside it was a deck of tarot cards, a cup of tea along with a teapot, and underneath the table and hidden by the cloth were a few open books for reference (divination had never been her strongest subject). She propped up a small sign reading 'Fortune Teller- dream interpretations, palm, tea leaves, crystal ball, and tarot card readings' against the crystal ball, and fidgeted nervously with a few of her necklaces (including one with a unicorn charm she had won earlier) while awaiting her first customer. It took a few moments for her to realize that the shadow clouding her gaze into the ball was in fact the shadow of a student, and she hurridly cleared her throat and said, "Welcome, my child. What do you wish to know? Madame Elana can tell all..."Feeling incredibly foolish, she thought, For Ravenclaw- I love Ravenclaw! For the house, do it for the house...

| June wandered around the Ravenclaw Fair, and stopped in her tracks when the fortune-teller's booth appeared in her view. Strange... who was that hidden by all that blue? June bit her laugh to keep from laughing. Whoever it was, all the different layers certainly made the outfit a tad.. ridiculous... but... it was certainly in the spirit of the fair. June approached the booth and glanced at the crystal ball. She looked and read the advertising sign once more. Did she really want to have her fortune told? Although her grandmother was a wonderful Seer, June had always been a bit more than skeptical of the sketchy and vague subject. She sighed and mentally shrugged. What could it hurt?
"Welcome, my child. What do you wish to know? Madame Elana can tell all..."
June blinked. She blinked again. This was Elana?! She smiled and sat down. "I'd like to know my fortune please... " she replied. The girl looked around wildly, wondering what she wanted the divination to be done with. Finally, her eyes settled on a small package. "I'd like it done with tarot cards please."

| Rigby ducked thru the opening of Elana's tent, totally digging the fortune telling vibes that filled space. Glancing around she took in the sights, the tools of the trade. Realizing that she had skipped her usual morning ritituals, she pointed at the tea.
"I would like my tea leaves read, please." she asked Elana politely. She had never done anything like this before, but the atmosphere of the fair was working its magic on her. Rigby felt as if she had stepped back in time. Perhaps Elana could give her a reading that would explain some of the strange incidents that had been occuring to her recently...

| "Ah, the tarot cards." She had to work hard to supress a smile and laugh, but managed to spread eleven of the cards into a traditional celtic cross. Elana's eyes and hands traveled over them as she murmured softly, occasionally taking swift peeks into one of the books. At last she raised her eyes to meet June's, and reasoned, "Let us look at the bad first."
Elana tapped one of the cards, the chariot, which was upside-down. "You will want to be cautious in your competitions in the near future, for this points to failure. But do not worry," she pointed to another, the eight swords, and then to the knight of swords, "you will overcome this obsticle because I can see that you are a brave, strong girl, also with patience," her hand swept over the temperance card. "That's the jist of it," Elana spurted out. "I mean," she hurridly added in a mystical voice, "this is the farthest I can see for now, but you have a good aura, my dear. You will go far..."
She then turned to the second customer whom she recognized as Kate, and said, "Yes, the leaves..."
Elana poured a cup of tea, swirled it around, and handed it to Kate to drink. Once only the dregs were left, she pulled it towards her and gazed into its depths, once again making the odd murmurings. Once satisfied that she had a good enough reading, she looked up to say, "I see a leaf- a new life is beginning -and also an urn- happiness is coming your way, my child..."

| As Sir Antonius trudged along the fairgrounds, taking in the wonders and sounds of the people, he couldn't help but find himself stricken with intrigue. Intrigue at the old fortune teller's tent. Eyes wide as he found himself being pulled towards the entrance, entranced by the the blue material surrounding the mysterious fortune teller, Antonius rendered himself defenseless tot he call.
Once he stepped through, the faint aroma of tea and incense stung his nostrils, and there sitting behind her table sat Elana. Shrouded in mystique, Antonius found himself hesitant at first. But after realizing he knew who she was, and seen her play quidditch he was glad she was of Ravenclaw. So, he took a seat, offered his greeting with a nod, then asked for his fortune. "Oh, great and wise teller of fortunes. What do you see-eth in mine future? I would like to see want my destiny foretells by a palm reading."

| The fair Lily could see that a small line had developed within the Fortune Teller's tent. She was never one to believe in faith and destiny and in fact she had been literally dragged here. Despite that though she had a nagging curiosity that knew no bounds - what if the girl could see into the future? Really see into the future? Then she would be able to know all the mysteries that plagued her mind. But to actually go inside was another matter. The petite Ravenclaw had decided without even realizing. Ravenclaws may have been one for their books and knowledge but something about this ancient tradition nawed at her. A delicate hand would reach out towards the curtain of the tent, she wasn't hesitant in her stride and in fact made ample time to get there. Brushing the flap away, she was able to poke her head through to see if anyone resided inside. The smell of inscents and perfumes filled her as she took a deep breath, it was slightly intoxicating, dazing her mind as she stepped forward at the sound of a voice. Without an offer she took a seat before the fortune teller, brow raised in curiously as chocolate brown eyes would try to decipher the woman sitting before her - was she real or a complete fake? There was no way to tell and yet here she was. Silence was met with the knowing gaze she brown staring back at her. What could she possibly know? | |

| Elana peered into the crystal ball to try and desipher something to tell Chris. It was quite murky in there...perhaps he'd be walking and it'd be foggy? Would something dangerous happen then- but what would be more dangerous than to trip and fall? She shook her head and looked closer, determined to find something better. And then a clearer shape emerged...
"I see you transforming into a bird- falcon, perhaps? That is what you're trying for in the Animagus training, correct? I see that you will succeed, child, and become an Animagus before long!"
Elana then turned to Anthony who had asked for his palm to be read. She laid his right hand on the circular table, and looked onto it to see the lines, shapes of the finger tips, and everything else needed for a good reading. "Sir Antonious," she said, raising an eyebrow at the name but continuing without pause, "the lines in the hand never lie...but I know you will be disappointed in what I am about to tell you."
She met his eyes gravely and said, "Ahead in your life there lies a shadow that will try to block your greatness. A lovely, charming, and well-dressed shadow, yes, but a shadow indeed."
And now that I've fulfilled my end of the bargin- Jenn, where's my cheesecake?! she thought. Another person entered, and she recognized this as their beloved Lily. "Be careful and stay true to the path you have chosen, no matter what, or who, stands in your way!" She then promptly shooed him away to make room for Lily. "Sit down, dear," said Elana. "What would you like to see?"

| "I'm not much of a believer, what is there that you can tell me?"
She had no real plans or thoughts on the matter, more so curious. They always did say - 'curiousity killed the cat' - she was no cat. But for this one time she would allow it to drive her every action. Bodies piling in and out as their fortunes were being read - for something that could have been a crock she sure as hell had quite a few customers knocking at her door - herself included.

| Elana took a look down at a page about auras, and, spotting a description that fit Lily well enough, began to speak.
"From the moment you entere my tent, I could see your aura. Bright purple and strong, dear. Your aura tells me that you are an authoritive woman, wise and can be slightly controlling at times. But that can be good- look at where we stand for Quidditch!" Elana added with a grin as she lost her fortune teller-y look. She composed herself again to continue, "With such imagination and intuition, you are a grand leader. Though there are obsticles in your future, you will get through them! Even in the darkest hour, someone like you will emerge, not fully unscathed, but whole."
She paused, then said, "Would you like to see more clearly into your future with the use of the tarot cards, crystal ball, a palm reading, or a tea leaves reading? Or is this enough for now..."
My, she did hope she was pulling this off and not looking like a total fool...

| As she cautiously slipped away from her guards, Lady Jenifer rolled her eyes at her distracted guards. Seriously? Men. They see cartloads of food and gypsy women and are oblivious to the world. Luckily for her, that was a point in her favor. After all, how was she supposed to go exploring if those two goons kept getting in her way? Granted, this was at Hogwarts and she didn’t actually have bodyguards, along with the fact that she was Jenn and NOT Lady Jennifer…but when did that ever stop Jenn before? Pulling out her wand, Jenn conjured up two ferocious looking bodyguards in the middle of the town square. It wasn’t much fun to be hiding from nobody. Satisfied that everything was set, Jenn took a deep breath and became Lady Jenifer again. “That’s much better,” she said to herself with a sigh. As she walked along the various booths, a grin crossed her face as she reached out to touch a soft bunch of flowers. Suddenly seeing one of the bodyguards pass her line of vision, Lady Jenifer did the only thing she could think of and jumped into the closest tent she could find. She curiously looked around at all the crystals hanging from the ceiling around her. Well, wasn’t this an interesting sight? And a fortune teller too, that curiously looked like her younger sister Adriana. But that was for another time and story. Jenifer slowly approached the fortune teller and smiled. “Tarot reading please, I wish to know about…” Jenifer blushed and looked around her for a minute before whispering. “My love life.” | |

| Antonius raised a brow as his palm was being read. A shadow, a lovely and well dressed shadow? The thought ran through his mind over and over, and then it hit him. "Fortune Teller?" He spoke low and nicely, "Tell me, have you been holding court with that cooky nagging old hag that liveth near the windmill?" A small laugh followed. That had to have been the reason, the fortune teller must have been diluted by her rantings and wine.
"A word of advice lass, never drink the wine of that loony lass, she lives in her own little world where things are, well lets just say where things are not normal." Another laugh followed as he bowed in thanks and made to exit the tent.

| As she waited for the fortune teller to respond, Lady Jenifer delicately crossed her hands on her lap. Just then she happened to notice a long stain on the hem of her gown. Oh drats! Her new gown was ruined and she bought it all the way from across the country on eBay-er I mean, on a designer…wagon? Either way, it was virtually ruined at this point. Jenifer gritted her teeth together, must have been that odd looking giant peasant that knocked into her when she entered the tent. Judging from his smell, Jenifer couldn’t possibly guess what the stain was. Nor did she want to. But still…her brand new gown…
An idea hit her, as she turned her brown innocent eyes back to the fortune teller. “While we’re waiting, can you let me know of anything else I can purchase from you?” Jenifer asked with a bright smile. “Charms, bracelets, voodoo dolls….” Her voice trailed off. Pulling on her bag, she pulled out a plate with two pieces of cheesecake. “This should cover everything.”

| "I believe you are speaking about a close friend of mine- who is not a nutter!" she said, voice not light anymore, but dangerously harsh, and glared at him, muttering about how they would let anyone be a knight these days, until he was out of sight. She slid a voodoo doll kit complete with an instruction booklet (not that Jenn needed it) across the table...
"I had a feeling I would be seeing you here," Elana said with a wink. "Your love life? Let's see what is to be seen..."
She reached for the tarot cards still spread out from a previous reading, shuffled them and once again laid them out in the celtic cross. Eyes darted around as she read the cards, and she let out a low whistle when done. "My dear...are you sure you want to know?"
She looked up gravely before her face broke into a wide grin. "It would ruin the suprise," she continued. "Achieving what you've always wanted," she said, nodding to the reversed Madame La Lune, "but the card warns to be careful to not become vain and shallow." In an undertone she added, "Not that you need to worry- just reading the cards." Back in her normal mystic voice, she waved her hand over the central card, Les Mortes, and said, "You will need to let go of the past to move on- if you refuse, terrible things will happen..."

| Lady Jenifer’s eyes grew wider at the fortune teller’s words. “Let go of the past you say?” She bit her lip and frowned. “But what does that mean? Should I forget about everything that’s happened in the past or just disregard it? Because ignoring it and forgetting about it are two completely separate things. And even if it were the same…how could I ever forget the past? That is physically impossible. Unless I were to get amnesia. But who knows what else I would miss that way? What if I forget more than what I’m supposed to let go of? What happens then? Will my life be ruined? And when you say terrible things will happen...how terrible are we talking? Is it a terrible, my hair looks funny, terrible. Or a my cat just died terrible? And not to mention, what if-”
Just then the tent became flooded with light as someone flipped open the flap to enter the tent. Jenifer turned around and pointed a finger at the exit. “I’m not finished yet! Out out!”
As the footsteps scurried away, Jenifer gave the fortune teller a big smile. “Now, where were we?”

"Um...you will never be able to forget your past completely, but what you need to do is put it behind you so that things that happened then do not hinder your journey forward...and as for the terrible things- between bad hair day and cat dying..."
She could tell that her belivability was vanishing- and quickly -with this one. Elana hurridly said, "That is all I can see for now! The choices you make will impact the reading, so come back if something significant happens that you want me to interpret!"

| Sir Antonius felt a bit peeved that such a ruckus was caused on his behalf. The fortune teller had scolded him as he was leaving, and the old kook living near the windmill ran into him spilling her own drink on her gown, as he was exiting. So, being the gentleman he was, he made straight for the nearest flourist, purchasing a fine assortment of Sunflowers, Daisies, and Orchids. He wasn't sure how the seer would react, but being the kind hearted gent he was, Antonius had to try. Marching right back to the tent he had just left, he felt a bit of a flush run across his cheeks. Slightly embarrassed by his actions not too long ago, but somehow that delusional woman had laced his reading with her bribes. Very sly, and ironically funny. Shaking off the shame, he proceeded straight back into the tent, bouquet of flowers hoisted in his arms. With a smile he approached the fortune tell yet again, his arm stretching out to give her his gift. "I come to apologize for my actions earlier madam. I meant no offense." Kind and gentle were his words, "Please take this assortment of flowers as a token of my apology. And pray tell, the next time you see your friend, send her my regards. That the king knight wishes to employ her skill as a nagging... er I mean, skillful speaker in his court." Then with a bow he made to turn for the exit. "Once again, thank you, and may the heavens watch over you mi'lady." | |

| "A tarot reading? Coming right up," said Elana, smiling as she again shuffled the cards and laid them in the cross pattern. She took a look at them, hurridly found the meanings, and said, "Things may fall out of balance soon, but there will be a reversal of that, and after this your life will ball back into harmony, which should stay for a time. Do not judge things, because you may miss a wonderful opportunity by only seeing it as something silly at first sight..." She trailed off as a familiar knight strode inside.
But this time his manner was quite changed, Elana noted with a supressed grin. "No harsh feelings, my dear," she said lightly, conjuring a vase for the flowers before taking them. "I see that you've realized your mistake...perhaps the future would be more clear now that that's over with- would you care for another look?" This time, she failed at keeping a straight face. Grinning up at her fellow Raven, Elana said, "I think it might be more in your favor now..."

| Stopping and turning around upon hearing her words, Antonius smiled warmly at the Ravenclaw seer. Taking a few steps back into the tent, he stopped just as he come to the table the fortune teller sat behind. "I will take another reading, yes." Nodding his head along as he spoke. "Another palm reading please?" Stretching his arm and hand out as he asked for another reading. | |

Well it didn't sound to bad. Herby thought to herself. But what one earth is going to fall out of balance.
"Oh,no." ::Herby screamed. ::
"Has there been some mistake?" Herby questioned the teller, for surely she mixed hers up. There was suppose to be a prince and huge castle not balancing and judging.::

| The light was falling, people were leaving, and the Ravens were beginning to pack up. Elana turned to her customers and hurridly said, "Your lives will be filled with happiness if you stay true to your heart and dreams and- and-" she faltered, "just be good, karma and all...Sorry to just shoo you out like this, but I've got to get this cleaned up before they lock the castle doors!"
After they left, Elana dropped the act completely, slouching down in her chair as she slid off her silvery-blue headscarf. She was exhausted! And hadn't even looked into her own future...Well that just wasn't right. A smile tugged up the corners of her lips, and she sat down crosslegged on the floor, books all around her to help her interpret what she would find...
