Love love love it. I love the book and I love the movie. Giaman did help make the movie though, that helped. It's amazing. And Michelle Phifer is one of the best villians ever.

Finally managed to go and see this movie and it was certainly worth the wait ! I remember reading about its production in SFX in January 2006 and since then I was dying to see it.

Claire Danes was fabulous! She was simply loveable! Robert De Niro was as always a total legend and Charlie Cox was wonderful. I look forward to seeing more work of his.

I've never actually read the book so I might just have to go buy it and have a read Stardust 436937

This film was a 10/10 for me !

I read the book when all the hype for the movie started surfacing, and I thought the story was kinda simplistic and predictable, much like a child's book except there was...STUFF in it. But I imagine I'll like the movie cuz I love fantasy movies...so yeah I need to go watch it. XD

I loved this movie! We just got it on DVD and we watch it last nigh! Some parts creep me out but I like the ending of the movie better than the ending of the book!

Me too ! The ending of the film was much better than the ending in the book. And I'm not usually a sucker for pure happy endings.

I watched this today. I loved it!

I thought it was the perfect fantasy film...bad guys, good guys, witches, swashbuckling, romance, action, adventure...I just loved it!

Really recommended!

I love this movie. I had wanted to watch it theater but my exams came in the way. Finally i ordered the DVD and saw it yesterday.
I loved it so much that i watched it twice in a day. Charlie cox is looking very handsome. I am looking forward to read the book now.

I love, love, lurrrrvvveeed it. It's a lot like the Princess Bride I think, except sharper and cooler, and slightly less cheesy, but in that same peculiar genre of childlike adultism. The book is weirder than the movie though, they made the movie smoother.

And the only changes they made from the book were good ones, so I was happy about that too. One thing that annoyed me slightly was

I loveeeee this movie! Like Cassie, I enjoyed the movie ending much more than the book ending though both are fabulous! What a great story and a fantasting casting! Not to mention the super epic music (thank you thank you thank you Ilan Eshkeri).

And yeah, I think the only reason she was really there was just to show how miserable she is. (;

Love this movie. One of the rare times I like a movie better than the book, though the book is quite good too. "...you smell of pee, you look like the wrong end of a dog..." "a face like a bag of frogs. Ugly frogs"... brilliant
