Welcome to the third photography challenge.

This challenge is to take a Macro photograph. A photo taken in Macro means one that has been taken very close up - so that fine details are brought to the attention yet the background remains blurry.

Most digital cameras have a macro setting, indicated by the flower symbol (as opposed to the mountain symbol).

Okay, this photo is what we in the photography business like to call...an accident, or what happens when a fifth grader is given a camera because that's how old I was when I took this with my nanny's camera. It was a complete accident, I had NO idea what I was doing...strangely, it was also taken shortly after September 11th.

((ignore the accidental strand of red hair...that was mine...got stuck in the scanner...:D
