The Hogwarts Experience Pantomime

Pantomime's are a traditional part of the festive season, so what better way to celebrate than for HE to put on one...or several?

This Christmas you'll get to be the stars of our very own series of Pantomime's, from Cinderella to Aladdin, Sleeping Beauty to Jack and the Beanstalk - and participation is worth lots of housepoints - up to 100 per person (may change) - of course!

Secret Santa

The Hogwarts Experience is bringing you a Secret Santa exchange. Each person who signs up will be given another member in the list in a few weeks to be their Secret Santa.

A Secret Santa will give the person they are partnered with a special christmas present. This is a virtual present so no galleons are involved! It can be anything you wish... such as a graphic, a song, a video, a poem, a story...whatever you may choose. You will give your partner their present shortly before Christmas in a special thread.

Holiday Quidditch

As the Holiday matches were such a success last year (as well as hilarious), we're going to be having them again this year.

House-boundaries won't matter, and even if you're not on the House Quidditch team, or have never played before, you can still sign up. This event is for everyone!

Christmas Skin

As you may have noticed, we have changed the main skin to get everyone feeling festive.

If you can't see it, you may have to clear your browser cache. If you're pining for the green skin, you can still use it by choosing "Default" in the skin changer menu (top left of the page). However, you'll have to put up with the main banner and the post buttons

If you signed up for the pantomime, you will now have been put in one of two groups for our performances of Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty.

As December 1st is very nearly upon us, it's time to count down in a traditional way: with an advent calendar! Every day you'll find a challenge awaiting you behind the doors on our calendar - all worth housepoints, of course.

The Four Weeks of Christmas Challenges

If you remember, just before book seven came out, we did a series of challenges to count down the days. Now, we're doing a series of four challenges in the weeks leading up to Christmas.

A new challenge will be posted every week, and as well as individual points for each challenge and its winners, if you participate in all four, you will earn a bonus of 200 housepoints.

Yule Ball

In the time-honoured tradition of Hogwarts, we present to you our Yule Ball.

The Great Hall is a resplendant palace of ice, with iridescent lights and sparkling snowflakes all around.

If you participate in the Yule Ball, you can earn housepoints for the following categories, with a maximum of 60 points per person available.

Most of us would love a white christmas but if you live in certain countries snow on christmas day is very rare so there is not much chance of building a snowman friend.
