Freddie Highmore excelled in this he was great! It was quite sad though I mean losing his parents etc then finding them extremly cheesy though it had me smiling with the music and nodding my head. Definatly going to buy the DVD and might even get the CD I think I will ask my aunty to get that one.
That wizard person scared me he was all eurgh and eurgh and controlling.
I wonder if Freddie actually played that music I mean they showed full shots of him but they can do all sorts of things with computers now.
It sort of had an open ending with just his parents standing there holding hands looking at him so you don't know what happens but it is still sweet.

| I surprisingly picked up on the Oliver similarities, but I thought it was just me over-analyzing things as usual. In the credits they mention a conducting instructor and an organ instructor for Mr. Highmore, so I assume he was actually playing the latter. My guess is he also plays guitar.
As far as the Wizard....I have never hated a character played by Robin Williams. Until now. He did a great job in the role, but he just made me want to jump through the screen and kick him in the shin. Or somewhere else... | |
