BIMS - Round 2 - Sugar Rush - Voting

Please read how the voting works:

-In the following post, I will create a table with all the submitted icons.

-You then need to name three icons in your post: you must give two icons a positive vote, and one icon a negative vote.
You should also give a reason why - commenting on an aspect of the icon
you liked (for the positive votes) and what you felt could be better
(for the negative vote). This is to help icon makers in further rounds.

-Both
participants and non-participants can vote. Non-participants get 50
points for voting but participants are penalized for not voting.. Voting

-Participants CANNOT vote for their own icon.

-Please compare the icons to the original pictures before you vote. Many times you will say nothing is done because someone didn't change the image in a huge way, but a closer look will show you that they did.

Pos: 5 - The font fits perfectly, and I love the pink swirls at the bottom.
Pos: 6 - Really nice graphic, love the coloring!

Neg: 4 - While I like the cropping here, the coloring is a little too strong here, making it look way too purple and taking away from the candy.

Positive: 3- I like the coloring, and the "fairy dust" texture makes it look like magical love candy XD

Positive: 1- Though the contrast is a bit high, I like the cropping, the simple wording, and I appreciate that they tried using a harder image

Negative: 5- I don't really like the background, or the fact that the candy is just kind of there in the frame. It doesn't look placed in the frame, it looks like it just got dropped somewhere because they needed to use it for the rules.

Positive Vote: Icon 1, because although I feel like the coloring is too much here, it's still a good looking icon.
Positive Vote: Icon 5, because it's an okay icon but I'm still not a huge fan.

Negative Vote: Icon 2, because although the concept was good the lighting kind of reminds me of the first Twilight movie and I can't really read the text.

Positive for #2: I love the pastel feel of it. It looks like something I would take off from weheartit. XD

Negative for #1: It's too hot-ish for me, it makes me think of popcorns more than chocolates.
I might be the only one who saw that. xD
